In the rare occasion that Vacuum Wars does a sponsored video or receives a product from a manufacturer to review, we will be clear about that in the video. Otherwise if nothing was mentioned, then this was an unsponsored review.

I love you. I don’t know how anyone can get so excited about vacuum reviews but I sure do!
Lol thanks so much! Vacuums are super cool, thats how!
A little suggestion, as every vacuum comes out of the box working great. Try cleaning your area a few times, maintaining the filter as best as you can, then trying it again to see if the filter efficiency plays on power loss, if any. I think it would add a little bit to your already great testing methods.
Good idea!
This vacuum is awesome. No matter how clean I think the floor is, it will find more cat hair and litter dust every time I run it. Great vac, I dont know why so many people complained about it in online review.
Eric Hanson does it move over transition strips well?
Cant wait for the power bot next!!!
Yep, its next up!
Great review!
Awesome
I'm Guessing the shorter brush roll/ pickup area gives it the better crevice and possibly deep clean ability over the neato, Since the airflow would be more concentrated. However, I don't think the roombas benefit from this because even though they have the short brush roll they have two making the pickup area larger.
Using random numbers
I'm guessing The shark has a .75" X 6" pickup area from the squeegee/brush to the center of the brush roll giving it 20 cfm in 4.5 cubic in pickup area, OR 4.4 CFM per Cubic inch of pickup area
The Neato is about .75" X 12" giving it 2.2 cfm per cubic in of pickup area. (This is why the straighter neato brushes clean better because they create a seal across the center of the roll)
The roomba 980 would be around 2.25" X 6" giving it 1.27 cfm per cubic in of pickup area.
I guessed at these measurements but I do think this could be another number set you could add to your data that may help indicate deep clean ability on these vacuums.
Those are good points and its probably true, but I have noticed one mitigating factor is any kind of seal around the brush roll whether it is rubber or various types of brushes really make the most difference in this test besides airflow.
its quiet??
Do you think I should get this one of the Deebot N79S? I have pet hair issues, and hardwood floors
Or this or the Effy 11s? :(
those side brushes are so slow and weird shaped they are more like scoops lol
YAY but I’m in the hospital
What happend!!
Vacuum Wars asthma
Purchased one from Amazon R85 and it stopped working, the lights flash clean and dock and will not work December 2018
980 and i7 isn’t the same…
Wow. Amazing video. You covered everything and more. I subscribed even though this isn't my thing. I'm buying the wife one for Christmas so I came here. Impeccable job. Keep up the good work.
Awesome! Thanks so much I appreciate it!
Yay, i was just about to watch a different vid but i came to u because ur better than all the rest.
What! That was close!
The best review of any smart vacuum ever!!! Well done
Thanks so much and thanks for stopping by!
very happy
sooo ... if they add a navigation system it's gonna be one hell of a vacuum ? :O ... If they do that, maybe one day I'll buy one
Once again, great job. I forwarded the link to a couple of friends who are looking for a robot vacuum. A commenter below mentioned that the side brushes were 'weird'. It looked like they spun in the a direction that caused the debris to be scattered in front of the vacuum rather than to the side - which should be a good thing.
I still like the idea of the ones that don't have a random pattern and can be mapped from the phone app. The random pattern bugs me and controlling where it goes without tape or towers seems really useful.
Thanks! Yeah the random things is not great, but after testing another random bot today I really do appreciate the Shark. That being said I would much prefer a smart bot. The side brushes are slow and they only have one brush instead of 3 but they spin in the correct direction as far as I know.
Been waiting for this!!!!!!!! I LOVE SHARK!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cool! I like Shark a lot too!
WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!!!!! Worst vacuum cleaner in the world!
Awesome! Thanks for the review.
Thanks! and Thanks for stopping by!
So, basically just a more powerful pinball vac. No nav improvements at all from its predecessor? Still my biggest issue with the R75 is it’s complete lack of any intelligent nav. It’s the only thing it’s missing, as the vac part is spot on, really didn’t need more power. It never edges in any room. I do get a lot more run time though with mostly tile flooring, like closer to 2hrs, but even with that run time it still misses spots and nearly every edge. Deebot next up to bat in my house. House might prove to be too chaotic for precision vac bot though(kids), will see.
Yeah, Its one of the best "dumb" nav robots, but I agree, they should have sprung for a smart nav bot.
Deebot 900 in the house. The bot part, along with app, just on another level. Some issues encountered with Deebot, not surprised though, couple rugs with black in them and it confuses it’s anti-drop sensors. The Shark could care less as it aimlessly pinballs around. In a evening run around together the Shark actually picked up double somehow. The Deebot to my ear is slightly louder, but a bit more refined and pleasant sounding. Curiously the Deebot slows down it’s side spin brushes when it’s returning to charge, but no option in app to slow them down on normal cleaning, nice if they did. Like most they seem to spin faster than needed and flic debris around occasionally.
Awesome reviews! I just bought this one one sale!
May I suggest you rate the app from different manufacturers?
I was worried about an app from Shark but it turns out it is pretty good so far.
may i know how much you paid for it on sale? considering purchasing one right now and seeing if it's a good deal. thnx
@@quetimporta6334 I paid around 350$ Canadian which is around 250$ USD, Since I bought it, I was able to find multiple replacement filters, brushes, etc cheap on Amazon, still love it, it won't map your rooms or be "smart" at all but you get used to it. IMO the "smart" ones are not yet perfect enough to justify 700$+.
Martin Brochu thank you. I did but it and am excited to try it out for $225.00 👏🏼Thanks again
You, sir, are a genius.
I’m thinking of buying one for my grandparents. The only concern I have is will it clean multiple rooms like a living room and two bedrooms on the main level? I know my Neato D7 does fine but it also doesn’t have random navigation like the Shark. The Shark is on sale though for $199 so it’s a viable gift for me to give.
Thanks!! Liked and subscribed
Yeah it randomly makes it all around the house. I think its a pretty quality random nav bot, especially after testing some of the others. Im testing one today that is..not great.
First I have to say are you subscribed to PewDiePie
Nice!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Yes
What i like about it that it has more airflow than the 690 and its quiet
Yes, it is super powerful and really quiet. despite it not being a smart navigation bot. Plus a huge dust bin.
I just got mine yesterday and i came here to see how to install its boundaries. I had r75 before it died within 8months. This one for sure is more powerful!
Do samsung powerbot next
Yeah the powerbot is coming up next.
4:55 That's because they're probably using an ultrasonic sensor instead of an infrared sensor
I feel unwell. So can you do a reveiew of the hoover freejet 3in1
Never heard of it, looks like a UK thing?
i love your reviews, even watch after i bought a cheapie robot (which i love, ilife v3). really appreciate all your testing! can't believe i waited so long to get a robot vacuum, major game changer!!
I’m so torn I read some good reviews on this but there were a lot of negative ones about it breaking and poor customer service.
Squad 51 my shark regular vacuum the roller stopped working 10 min with customer service and they sent me a new bottom roller assembly completely free and shows up in 4 days. Would say top customer service I’ve dealt with.
This tobot va cum is awesome. Granted it is not top of the line but it has a good algorithm system I have nothing bad to say about this robot. The handheld vacuum it comes with is very powerful and they give you every attachment you could possibly need for the handheld vacuum but this is a very good robot vacuum and it cleans the hell out of my apartment with wood floors
Can it go over an Ethernet cable? I have to have one across my hall 🙄
I tape mine down with packing tape... problem averted. Or stretch it tight. And secure it at the edges.
Still waiting on the Roborock S5 review and comparisons
Yeah I dont have one in this series but its really the main one I need to do to feel like I have a good handle on the current offerings.
muy buenos videos ojala pase mas lentas las gráficas por favor, tengo que ponerle en modo lento o pausa a cada momento
Thank you for the review it was super!
Nice I’m subscribed thanks
The most popular Apple products typically perform as well, or beat/just trail their competitors. Honestly why do people still pay a premium for Roombas?
Well the new i7 Roomba is awesome with its "Clean Base" but other than that...Im with you.
Very good video
I love my shark
In your opinion does the roborock feel high quality and long lasting
Yes it does feel sturdy, but its hard to know for sure.
@@VacuumWars also are guys planning on doing more high end vacuum videos such as riccars, simplicity, and miele
Do you like this one over a roomba 690 for example?
Yeah I like this one a lot better than the 690.
Can you test the hoover whole house rewind from target in a later review?
I can check it out eventually, thanks for the tip!
I am looking for a robot for my mother which one would you recommend?
Deebot 901 $300 on sale.
Roborock E20 $300
Neato D5 $380 on sale.
Thank you.
The D5, no question.
Vacuum Wars thank you, I would order it before is to late.
Vacuum Wars I’m having shipping issues to the location I want to send it.
Which one would you say
Deebot 901 or Roborock E20?
If they're claiming this new vac has 3x the suction and this current model does 20 CFM does that mean that the prior rv75 had only 7 CFM?
While I didnt test the R75 when I had it (I wasnt doing airflow tests at the time) I dont think so. For example the Irobot says that their newer robots like the 980 are "10x more powerful" than the 600 series but the cfm difference was only 7 cfm to 17 cfm
Shark is basically a rebranded ecovacs. Meh:/ iRobot instead please
pretty much, yeah. SharkNInja partnered with Ecovacs for their Ion Robot line.
Yes but the nv601 has 95 cfm,,!! 20,???? OMG would you trust that little disc to deer clean your nice carpets,,?? About 600-700 pounds,,?? Fu bone idol people deffo,,!!
You are irresponsible and biased for your own agenda.
