This makes me want to get my lightcycle, neon helmet. This had the best score. If you think about it so many other movies and shows bit it’s style with the synth. Stranger Things, part of Thor Ragnarok, Nicholas Winding Refn and more. But Daft Punk was one of the first especially for a movie score.
I remember playing tron evolution battle grid on my wii, it had the option for endless light cycle tails, me and my friends would all try to survive as long as possible without hitting eachother, good times
Jeff Bridges acted his fucking face off in that movie. Not only did he make a villain seem simultaneously the most uptight person while being completely relaxed. But he also played that Jesus in the machine perfectly to the point of where he heard his speech being ripped retarded back to him it with a horrifying twist. But he stood there stunned silently mouth not a gape but I still was like holy shit. FLYNN LIVES
I could see Tron like a series as Pirates of Caribbean, Starwars or Matrix. Bigger plots, better villains, more drama. Greatest waste of potential in movies.
