I will never get tired of seeing Barret’s level 3 limit break.
As a majority of players complain it’s too hard and couldn’t beat it with even all 7 characters… this man can solo the hardest challenge with any character in the game, including Salmon.
Its because of guys like these that the developers turned Rebirth's endgame content into a sadistic fest for the rest 99.99% of us normal humans out there!

@@chrislee5268 i have already plated the game dude… that doesnt make the design of the endgame content any less bad. Its not about being able to do but rather being willing to withstand this awful boring and annoying process to do it.
I really have to work on my perfect blocks haha.
I didn't realize that them hitting you while immune during the limit break basically counted as blocking, so they're constantly refilling the LB bar.
Finally Barrett. You hardly see him on these vids.
It's a shame too, because Barret can be really powerful if you build him right, both as a tank and a DPS.
Bro, do you not remember how literally OP he was in the remake? I think he just got super nerfed on this one
@@javiman maybe. remake was a long time ago, all I know is that I used Barret to beat Hard Mode Red Dragon essentially by himself, and Barret alone made the fight easier than a full party _without_ Barret. I just pushed his defense and healing to the max and the dragon just... could not kill him. Not even Crimson Breath was enough to bring him down. It didn't even put him in red health! 😂
@@javiman no, I'm referring to Rebirth.
Barret is objectively much stronger in this game than Remake. Every single ability was improved and his stats were also boosted, not to mention the new accessories and materia works very well in his favor. He was definitely not nerfed, seeing as he was Remake's weakest character. Fun, but weak compared to the other 4.

Do Barret's abilities deal magic damage or physical damage? It seems like everytime I see someone do this challenge, he uses the Hi-Caliber Rifle, which has the highest attack
Almost all abilities do physical dmg unless the ability says otherwise
That infinite limit Break is Way too Overpowered.....I love it:P
How Hard / Tight is the timing for the Perfect Block? Will have to try this for myself....
Well a lot of the blocks are tight and you have to learn them with practice not to mention the Sephiroth fight the beginning is the most important 3 blocks into instant Limit Break Cast
Oh and btw , wait until you see the Cait Sith LB lmao
@@KalmashinV I still have All the Brutal & Legendary Challenges to do as well as hard mode. I've watched a lot of youtube videos using various strategies which seem way too complicated. Fact that yours can be done with a single character is much more straight forward and gets the Job done:)
So guess I'm gonna have to practice Perfect Blocking....

If you've played any Soulsborne before, perfect blocking in Rebirth is not that hard. And if you have not played any souls before, the window (with the correct materia) is still quite forgiving. Just practice a little bit, you got this.

I'm not understanding - what's the point of doing this with HP-MP swap? Just to get the MP back that you use on Reraise?
The point is to be at lower HP as possible because your Limit Gauge charges faster the lower you HP is when you block or take dmg. But in this case I'm Immune while doing the Limit Break and when they hit me i just get Limit Gauge faster because I'm always on 1 hit from death.

@@KalmashinV Interesting. So, basically a glass cannon build? Did you have to attempt this a ton of times to film one where it worked out, or is it something that can be consistently pulled off with this build? When I get Rebirth on the PC, whenever it comes out, I want to try it.
@@bruticaloz2627 it's consistent as long as your perfect blocks are that's about it and it's fun to play it as well.
I like all of the challenge runs coming out of rebirth. I’m too much of a scrub to even try this out

I'm really surprised they still let you get limit break energy from getting hit in immunity. Seems like a huge oversight lol
It's intentional but it scales with the amount of total HP you have the lower the more Limit Gauge you fill it's not like you can casually play the game like this
@@KalmashinV What i'm saying is it seems like it shouldn't both fill your limit gauge up for being low AND work while immune. One or the other 🤷♀

I’m not sure if this is right, but if the hp and mp swap materia really makes the limit break charge that fast, then it is a LOT better than I thought
