You are the best. People don't understand why i fish in only a 17ft custom offshore skiff that i built. Off AC,NJ,USA i have to travel no less then 20 miles offshore to get into only 100ft of water. For me to reach any water that may hold swordfish is 65 miles offshore. I have gotten 50 miles in my skiff, easily. I have landed wahoo to 60lbs, bluefin to 200lbs, yellowfin to 50lbs, mahi to 30lbs, thresher 377lbs is my biggest. All in a 16 and 17ft boat. I have attempted swordfish in Florida in my boat with no luck. This summer, July and August, my goal is to catch tilefish (60 miles), and white marlin(same mileage) in my 17. Love the small boat stuff
@@MrKevin3140 I took a 1968 DUO (Luhrs partner company) and stripped it completely out. Did the stringers, floor, wiring, transom, pretty much everything except the hull.
Awesome video man! Just out of curiosity how far out would you personally go out on that stabicraft? I'm interested in getting one I'm just curious to know how far out I could go on her.
Love to see you catch those big swords. That's my bucket list fish.

Quick question. How many lb leader is it, and is it fluro or mono? Guess like 1.5mm plus stuff
500lb mono (2.2mm)
