There are a few options for cutting a hole in paper. The first is the FP-1 hole punch. It is a manual single hole punch. The second option would be to try using a paper drill. I believe the button on the iPad is about 0.78 inches (2cm). The largest diameter hole a paper drill can do is about 1/2", which is a little smaller. We sell both the FP-1 and paper drills, so feel free to stop by and take a look. I hope this helps.

I see the paper shifting as the blade cuts the stack... this is a nightmare for using on business cards as the top 20 pages cut nicely, but the rest of the stack are totally not sellable.
