Thanks for mentioning Mridul's fragrances in the honorable mentions. I haven't tried many Indian fragrance houses but he truly is a gifted perfumer from our country. This video was very informative as usual. I think i will be more open to trying these scents. And your presentation never gets boring. Good job again 👏
Thank you so much Divjot for your review, and ranking us at 3rd position . We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us .Your appreciation and suggestions will help us to grow and reach to #1 position in international perfume market.

i have never tried indian fragrances, however, after receiving a gift i am now intrigued because it opens up a whole new world for me! Divjot, please also put up something for ladies :),, i would also like to know where to purchase these!
Amazing list Divjot..it gave me a good insight into the Indian market and its options. Some of my favourite Indian perfumes are also from some of these houses which you mentioned :)
To be honest with you when I started exploring it even I was surprised - it took me good two years to create this video which has not been done before .
Hey bro..try nefarious king of oud from crown series .. it has proper Dubai feel very much arabic vibe with sweet amber spices n little florals ( not typical rose oud combo ) I tried it today worth it..
Appreciate your hard work. I suggest you try more from Mridul Chopra. He should have been in top 3, in my opinion. Suggest you to explore his creations. Each one of them is a high quality niche fragrance. And this am saying after trying atleast 30+ of his creations.
Sure I will look to try more - it’s subjective list as all top 10 are and I know Mridul even before he has started his house - so I know what he is capable of .
Are these available at stores in delhi? I mean I want to sample or atleast smell them before I buy . Are these for women ? I love feminine or Arabic fragrances I am crazy perfume lover highly appreciate that you mentioned Indian fragrance line sthat too niche . Otherwise it's just common or widely available designer perfumes , traditional attar or something like creed or dubai based houses. Thank you for making this 🙏
Great idea for a list. New subscriber 👍 Can you recommend a city in India that would be best to visit and try out Indian fragrances? Would be an interesting trip.
Awesome 🎉 I saw a video on attars from Kannauj and they seemed interesting. But there must be many gems in India. Also, is Ajmal indian or from UAE? I looked on fragrantica and it says UAE, but they get things wrong often, or maybe it’s just the corporate headquarters.
The problem with these Indian houses is their relatively unknown to most people, including me, but the asking price for some of them is kind of ridiculous. Why would a fraghead spend 7-10k on a frangrance from a completely unknown brand when they can spend the same for a designer scent? I also find it strange that most of the fragrances by these houses seem better suited for cold weather, which is ironic considering only a small percentage of India gets that cold. I haven't smelled All Good Scents or A Fragrance Story but their business model actually makes sense. The rest will be a hard pass from me unless they start selling 10ml samples for a reasonable price so we can try these so called "niche" fragrances. Thanks for the video!
Good points - houses like heaven Duft ingredients are far better then you get in designer scents - it’s mostly natural but if folks go by brand value then your point makes sense - check out my new video where I highlight some very affordable option from Indian houses .
@@IntellectualScents I was about to say the exact same thing. I too am trying to make perfumes in small batches with Ruhs & essential oils. Yes, natural materials can be very expensive but are you positive that they're actually using high quality materials? If so, I'm willing to buy some. But I agree that they should sell at least 30ml bottles at around 2-3k. Otherwise, it's very difficult to sway people away from the designer brands.
@@danlightened not all natural are expensive like khus is comparatively cheaper - these houses used mixed which has some natural and some synthetic -I suggest you buy directly from distiller then these houses as you can cut out the middle men .
@@IntellectualScents Yeah, I buy from A Md Ayub Md Yaqub, Ayub Attarwala here in Mumbai. If you have any more suggestions, I'll definitely go check. What I don't get is, if they're not almost fully natural why are they so expensive? Are they better than BDC, Versace pour Homme, Armani Code etc?
@@danlightened well BDC 100ML cost upwards of 10 k so this statement that Indian houses are expensive is not correct - some are but not majority are not .
