Fix it please! I keep grabbing the padding controls mistanekly whenever I want to resize or move en element within the auto-layout. I think that those handles should appear only when we hold some key (just like we can see the constraints value while holding alt and hovering the constraint)
This class will be refreshed (or has it already) with the recent updates to auto-layouts (hello, wrap)? Always a depth of gratitude to the Figma (Edu) team.
40:28 Making an absolutely positioned element, tying it to Boolean visibility property, then making it conditional depending on how it's used in the real world. 🤯
Stroke included should be default setting since it always hides strokes without that, even when clipping is off. Confusing to debug why stroke is on but nothing visible. And packed and space between setting should be always visible since I constantly need to change that.
What does Command + E do? Something about wrapping the polygon (triangle) __?__ perfectly", but I can't make out the word he said at 33:42, no matter how many times I replayed it.
Thanks for the feedback! It was an hour livestream and we wanted to make sure we covered everything. You can reduce the playback speed to slow down the video if it's too fast for you.
@@Figma Thanks for the recommendation! But it’s not only matter of speed. It’s about all the important parts missed and quality of the content that is compromised.
This truncating feature is so so subtle but SO FRKN COOL 23:17
As a design newbie, this was really informative and educative.
The ASDW shortcut is awesome (and very nostalgic)!

I'm finding I'm doing this a lot, too.
Me too! So annoying
Great suggestion!

I will need to watch this in 0,5

At 43:38, I don't see this example in the working file, and it's exactly what I'm attempting to do now. Am I missing it?
Thanks, Figma!
Super powerful session. Learned a lot from this one.. 🙏
Thanks for this, I found this extremely useful!

agreed
Miggy yoy are always provide awesome shortcuts🥰🥰
Great it's very helpul for everyone Figma is most usable tool for everyone! 😘🥰
Amazing !

Hi! It flattens the shape. Makes it go from non-destructive, optically centered obect to a three point polygon with tight bounds.
the second person with the speck he is real
Thank you very much. All of you save my day.
44:18 how are you keeping constraints available inside of an auto-layout???
Hi Tyler, you can set constraints inside of an auto layout when you set the layer to absolute position.
@@Figma thanks for the info
Sweet!
Why WASD in opposite way! its used as arrow keys in gaming it should be calibrated in same way, its opposite now.
What is all these rush for?! Toooo fast. specially the second person
