I finally had enough time to finish my video from the crossover and other last few episodes. These two idiots. They're going to kill me. The writers are dropping more and more hints about them and I'm about to lose my mind. Their chemistry increases every episode and I'm dying that we have to wait three weeks before we see them again. Erin must not take the job on the task force...though I'd be alright if she intended to and Halstead stopped her with a profession of love. That would be fine. ;)

I LOVE all the concerned looks Jay gives Erin, and how often he asks her if she's okay. You showcased those moments so well in your video, and it really brought forth not only how much they are attracted to each other, but how much they care about each other. Beautifully underscored by the song choice "I'll be there for you through it all."
Great work as usual! Keep 'em coming, we need all the Linstead fanvids we can get with Show being so stingy!

I love it! It's pretty simple and yet, you showed us why they are so perfect for one another. I mean, c'mon, their chemistry increases and we can tell they are attracted to each other every.single.time they're together. It's just a matter of time before it explodes and they happen. These two are ruining my life, literally!!! I NEED MORE of them SOON. I'm reading so many Linstead fanfictions with great scenarios and it just makes me sad because I want more development ON screen.
I'm not against Erin taking the job (I tend to think she will by the end of 2x09) if it means that Jay & her are free to date. Screw Voight! I'm craving for cute fluffly Linstead scenes so bad!
I'd be fine with her taking the job...except we'd be missing the Linstead partner cutesy scenes. And since the show's about the team, if she takes the job her part on the show would be cut down. Which would be unfortunate. I think Voight has pretty much warmed up to Halstead. I don't think he'd be as against the two of them dating now. But, like you said, I just need more Linstead scenes on the show. For real. Thanks for watching and commenting!
When I said her taking the job offer, I meant for a very short period of time (like 1-2 eps max), obviously. If she takes it, she's gonna be back in Voight's team for some reason really soon. Sophia is still on the set of CPD so I don't think we have to be worried about her part being cut down in any way but I think it'd be interesting to see her being the leader of her own Task Force for a little while. Idk. I feel like as long as she stays under Voight's authority she won't take the risk at being romantically involved with Jay.
I hope I'm wrong though. I just need them to confess their feelings you know...is it too much to ask?

If Erin has her own task force, she can build her own team and make her own rules. Which means she can hire Halstead and sleep with him!
They're really teasing us with the Linstead, but they have to put out at some point. Get us to first base at least, LOL!

The bicyclist collision where she hit her head was in the crossover with Chicago Fire and Law & Order: SVU. The collision happened in the 16x07 of SVU, but the CPD part of the crossover was 2x07.
