In this fishing episode we are fishing in key largo. Which is the first key in the Florida keys. The offshore fishing in key largo is amazing and there are swordfish not too far away from the keys. So we head offshore in search of swordfish to film an awesome catch and cook video.
So we run 35 miles offshore key largo and spend several hours swordfishing. Do we catch a swordfish? Well... you'll have to watch the fishing video on your favorite fishing channel on youtube. The South Florida Fishing Channel!
After our swordfishing trip I contemplate on how I can make sure to get a swordfish catch and cook video secured in the future, but for now let's do some inshore paddleboard fishing. I am fishing from a paddleboard and catch some barracuda on artificial lures.
There we go... this fishing episode will now be a barracuda catch and cook I hope ya'll are ready. I show the whole catch clean and cook barracuda so you can also learn how to catch barracuda and cook them up for your family!

Just a tip about the bird feed, the rats are drawn to it and will stay there, that means they're going to build a home close to it. They like building their nest inside boat hulls or under car hoods and will chew through wiring and make a mess and it smells. I had ones living inside my boat hull, blocked off all the holes they could get in except one and put a tube up to that hole so they could get out but couldn't get back in. Shortly after, they started building a nest under my trucks hood and chewed through wires. Birds are nice and I had bird feeders for years but after the trouble the rats caused, never again. They multiply pretty quickly and trust me, they'll make a nest in your boat, car, or near your house soon.

what i always do for dropping the sword bait is once u get to about 800 feet of line out turn around and follow ur line until ur line is straight up and down from the rod tip that’s what i’ve learned from the pros and have done for years

Typically it’s the larger ones off the reef. No worries on yours from the mangroves.
Feed the cats a piece of the cuda, if they eat it is siguatera free.
The avacado tree will grow but if it produces fruit, will probably be nasty. Grow that one a little then graft a hass or florida avacado branch from a producing tree to it (one you know that produces good fruit) like mine. I'm in Key Largo and will give you a trimming.

You can always use 15-30 lbs mono as a breakaway material, it works just as well and will break off if need be because if you’re fishing for sword you’re most likely fishing heavy line

Barracuda is like the salt water cousin of Muskie and Northern Pike. Toothy predators with lots of smelly slime. And the pike is delicious to eat too.

The best way to test the barracuda is with the cat that you have in your house, he will not eat it if is sick, if you do not want to use your pet, use the ants. Thank you for your videos
