- My husband and I were flown to LEGOLAND's New York Resort for the weekend and had a blast!
We left Austin, TX on Thursday morning bright and early to catch a flight to New York (JFK). It was neat to see the NYC skyline on the way and the drive was only about an hour and a half from the airport. I'd definitely recommend getting a rental car if you do decide to go and don't live local. The resort stands out a bit since the town of Goshen is pretty quiet and then you just see the bright, colorful LEGOLAND on the hill.
In the resort, everything looks like it is built from LEGO and the rooms are all themed! Our room was Ninjago themed and had bunkbeds in a separate section for it you do have kids.
As for the food, I wasn't expecting much. Burgers, fries, chicken fingers were what I expected but I was actually blown away by the options they had and it was all delicious! There was salmon, steak, family-sized pizza that was probably 1ft x 2ft large, and a range of gluten free and vegan options! The drinks were also delicious and were honestly the best cocktails I'd had in a long time! I truly didn't expect it to be that good.
Overall, we had a great time here and would love to make the trip back at some point soon! It was a really great weekend :) Thank you again to LEGOLAND New York for hosting us this weekend!

Which LEGOLAND resort do you live closest to? Have you ever been?
Live near (and work for) the FL park ☺️
I live about 30 minutes from Legoland NY so I can't speak for the hotel, but the park is OK. My kid loved it, but for the price, it'll be a while before we go back. We did everything in about maybe 2-3 hours.
We live about 2 hours south on LEGOLAND NY out on Long Island. Were supposed to go last year but had to cancel. Plan on heading there this year.
I live 30 minutes from there. I'm planning a visit once they open. There are a couple of Lego stores nearby. All within an hour drive.
well....thats a trick question - i live in the same state as the New York one but it might be faster to fly and drive to the orlando one.
You had posted a video shopping at the big lego store at legoland a few days ago and the very next morning I drove to legoland New York which was about 2 hours away from me. When I got there they said it’s closed and they are only having a private event for friends and family. After explaining my situation they gave me 10 min to buy 2 items in the store I was so thankful I was able to get a stormtrooper helmet and James Bond lego set. I was so lucky the legoland staff was understanding and very thankful for your videos otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten these sets for retail or ever 😂
I almost did the same but decided to call them first. They didn't answer so we messaged their Insta and they told us they were closed till next week.
@@burngwngs you’re a smart person haha I just full sent the drive and got lucky
It is so adorable you reacting to the scenery around you. I’m so glad you like the area!
Wow I Love New York City!🎆
I loved seeing the skyline!
Lol I love how you mention Taylor Swift and I didn’t even knew there was a lego land in New York until I watched this
It's brand new since last August! And I learned while I was there that it is the newest amusement park in New York in 40 years!
Ross “Count the hands and divide by 2”. I laughed out loud!!!
Great opportunity and thank you (And LEGOLand New York) for sharing! Looks great and would love to check this one out :)
I have never been to legoland yet, but I definitely plan to go.
The hotel looks awesome! There are so much cool builds there.
Lego should sell big minifigures like the those ones
What a fantastic trip!!! Curious to see the rest!
Those chefs are down with some casual murder :o
Yay :)
A lot of the models for New York were built by the Florida model shop initially, but they now have a small team on-site.
Yup!! Some of the Florida builders flew up to help out at the beginning. Now there’s a team of maybe 6 builders on site! They were all so friendly 😊
@@Emmasaurus I work in FL’s shop. They talk about the lessons from NY a LOT

It was so much fun :)
8:08 They're actually called Elemental Blades and I want to live there! 😜😂
Awesome Legoland Hotel
Great video once again!I have two ideas about the city:1)Make a beach area and put under it a underwater area.Check out Bricksie’s beach for some ideas.2)Rosh and You should make a very nice zoo with the animals from the Lego city sets
I love the fact that the technoblades from season 3, the falcon Zane owns, and the Ninjago charcters in the walls make me wanna go there as a huge Ninjago fan.
Edit: Its not the technoblades, its the elemental blades from season 2
I would have to find one near Toronto, but have never been to one. The New York location looks epic. Great job as always with the videos; Ross's jokes have me in stiches “Count the hands and divide by 2” . Thanks both of you!
To answer your question in the title, WAY better than disney !! Looks like an EPIC trip so far !! 👍
It’s just not
Excellent job. I would have added the actual food available and what you selected at the hotel restaurant.
Ah man, I think I need to borrow some kids from someone so I can go stay at the Lego Land resort. I’m kinda sad you didn’t go see the pirates floor of the hotel though. I would have gone absolutely crazy for that place as a kid.
You’re able to go without kids I believe! LEGOLAND Discovery Centers require kids though haha
I want those translucent bricks too!!! I’d love to build a train out of them.
I have to take my daughter there. She has be bugging me since last year 😰
You did not just say ‘La-Loyd’ 😂
Did you know you could have flown from Florida to Newburgh which is only a few minutes drive from Legoland NY.
Frontier and Alligent Airlines currently fly to Newburgh.
To update my last comment. Frontier Airlines has added flights to Newburgh,NY Stewart airport from Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham starting May 26th. It's only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Legoland !
Why is the first second of the video like a horror clip lol
I thought New York was the Empire state?🤔
The Empire State?
The water is disgusting. In the bricks family restuarant located inside the hotel has a breakfast slop. The water infects everything. The apple juice, orange juice, soft drinks, absolutely disgusting
new youck
Emily you guys went to New York city i live in connecticut i am two hours away from New York city
Looks so cool. Well done Emmasaus u and Ross I hope that is his name, u both deserve it all the best from Ireland 🇮🇪
