Sometimes when you randomized its not really random it just makes a "pack" of different variables so it can repeat if the variables are límited for example in mega pokemon, apart from that if you look no other pokemon repeat, so yeah that was probably the reason (not sure but it seems plausible)

that's probably what i would've picked as well, pure power is strong but it needs utility, Unaware can stop a sweep and ruin setup mons, competitive play is not how we used to play in third grade 1 mon 1 move spam. Your pure power mon cannot stop a sweep, unaware mon can, and with Megas insane stats you should be able to get 1hko anyway if you're hitting for super effective damage.
Tbf while Pure Power is obviously broken, Unaware feels more consistent. He easily could've picked a special attacker and suddenly Pure Power doesn't do much while Unaware is consitent. Doesn't mean I agree with Unaware > Pure Power, just saying that I somewhat get the reasoning
@@JasonsHoerbuchstube I'm just saying statistically pure power is always the best one to go for coz even if you get something with like 65 atk (which is like the third lowest atk stat out of all megas belonging to mega gengar), that's still 130 atk which is very impressive
@katondragonrider gengar is like one of the least desirable megas in this case, there are a lot of other megas, even mega ampharos( who is a special attacker) has 95 atk which becomes 190 💀
What’s even the point of selecting anymore. You know nothing about the Pokémon so there’s no level of skill involved; just roll a 3 sided die at that point
Wdym knowing the ability is crucial, an ability can determined the whole battle, an example of that is when shadypenguin beat Unitedplays with just a venomoth thanks to its ability
@@-miguel_mal-5685 my argument isn’t that abilities are useless, it’s that they know nothing about the Pokémon they’re selecting (except the random ability given, which gives no info about the Pokémon itself)
Strange that they both got the one randomizer that was the same selection of pokemon. The Alakazam, Gyarados, and Heracross
yeah i noticed that, thought i was seeing things

Yes! The GOAT returns!
How come nobody is talking about how 0:16 and 7:01 are the EXACT SAME set of starters?

Yay tobin i love fnaf! Loving the name theme
I am no ability king, so would be nice to have a little discription box on screen for the abilities.
Idea: Hear a Pokemon's cry backwards
Always happy to see nexus again!
Did both of them forget what rivalry does? Because the reaction when Tobin got it was quite weird considering it crippled his Beedrill
Well I didn’t know what gender bedrill was yet
I’m pretty sure it didn’t start reducing damage against the opposite gender until gen 6 or 7
Yeah, it wasn’t until gen 7.
@@ShortTempered
Oh ok makes sense.
Thanks for the clarification :)
@everettw.9610 it has reduced power to own pokemon since gen 4, bit it wasn't in the description till gen 7
Dang Finnally someone showing Mega Blaziken Power! Miss him so much
Picking unaware over toxic boost and pure power gives me “I want Iguadola” vibes 😭

That Mega Lucario miss was sad :(
First and last randomizer Pokemon are same😂full circle
Love the uploads

The Lucario miss was unfortunate
You didn't give the reaction on mega mewtwo x
Blaze was choice banded rivalry brave bird on a heracross who was 4 times weak there was no chance it was living
Proof that Blaziken is OP regardless of Speed Boost

I love these weird as themes everyone is doing lately
I really enjoy picking from random abilities!
Bro really picked unaware over pure power

@katondragonrider and if unaware is on something like mega absol it wouldn't really matter would it?

@katondragonrider statistically (I did the math) there's a 90% chance to get above 160 atk if u pick pure power here
love how noone has mentioned tobin mispelled balloon lol
Tobin just misspells stuff a lot
You had a Pure Power ability and you didn't pick it bruuuuh
If it was a specially attacking mon with no attack it wouldn’t be good. I made a safer play cuz unaware is insanely good

Wsp peeps
We missed megas
Why is unaware perfect for blastoise? Is there some synergy I can’t think of or something
He’s a pretty bulky Pokémon and also is only weak to 2 typings so unaware goes pretty nuts on him
I hope and pray one day gamefreak will bring this mechanic back

So many “first” 🤣😂
Can we talk about how astro's starters are all female despite the fact that starters are like 72% male?
