If the fan motor is shorted due to water causing the error why do you have to replace the zeolite canister as well?

Thank you for the question! The fan housing connects directly to the zeolite container, if the fan housing contains water the zeolite container will as well. Any time water enters the zeolite container it is compromised and unfortunately must be replaced. Hope this helps!

The container is made up of 13 individual parts: 1. PPS outlet nozzle 2. Nozzle O-ring 3. housing cover with inner nozzle 4. Mesh Cover 5. Zeolite granules 6. filter 7. Heater assembly with terminals 8. heater terminals (with thermal protection) 9. Moist air inlet 10. Baffle fin 11. Container insert 12. Container housing 13.
