I cant believe I am saying this, I have been an IOS user for a very long time but this s25 ultra and one UI 7 is much better than anything Apple has recently offered with their phones or software!
Facts apple tries to get you to pay for their apps too that’s why I’m going back too Samsung I’ve had the iPhone 15 plus sold my s24 ultra for the 16 plus regretted it preordered my s25 ultra waiting for it to ship and never going back
Amazing right? Well, that carries a lot of weight coming from someone who used iOS for so long. I haven't looked into this but I feel like there are plenty of Android users who would say the same about going the other way, but right now... I think there are more iOS users considering a jump.
I think what sets you apart is your genuine, down-to-earth approach (unlike Michael Fisher's S25U review who comes off as a total smug and arrogant) and that you understand nuance. Your views are based in reality and not extreme situations or sides. I have no doubt your channel will keep growing.
lol I'm a die hard Samsung user and what fisher said was warranted. if he doesn't call out companies, then he's a sell out. I met him in person though once and he was a real gent, not snobby at all. Maybe its just his style. Anyway, I really appreciate your comment and hope I can continue bringing interesting content ☺️ have a good one 👊🏻
Bravo, Alex ! That's why I follow 3 tech channels only, one of them being yours. Whenever they decide to get rid of shutter lag / motion blur, I'm sure that will be the main thing they brag about on stage !
I just got mine today in black, and my two cents are this: the device looks gorgeous, and I did not have the same feeling for the S24 Ultra as I thought the S23 Ultra I had before looked better. Now, the size is very similar to the point that my s24ultra cases fit the device perfectly 😅
I am with on the S23U, probably the classiest of the Ultras. I've been rocking the S25U naked which is dangerous considering how clumsy I am, but I am enjoying it a lot. I do miss having a case with MagSafe when I am driving though so I might look into one of those...
I've watched plenty of youtube reviewers since I got into smart phones as early as Note 1. I will say this, there's something about your content that makes me take you advice and your opinion about tech stuff. With that being said, you have earned a sub in me. You are a great youtube reviewer. You are honest, calm and a pleasure to watch. Keep it up sir.
What a fantastic video. Your editing is a dream to watch. I love how the video is edge to edge on my s22u. I like that you are perspective-forward. Other reviewers just state what's in the feature sheet from samsung. You give opinions. Thanks! My s22u has a terrible video jump/studder. The thing is, I dont feel like it was always there. I feel like it started earlier this year. It was one of the main reasons I decided it's time for an upgrade. I really hope the jump you were talking about is only on zoom, bc i don't really use that, I usually just tap each lens for zoom. My S25u is out for delivery today.
Wow, thank you so much for the lovely comment! The jump I referred to is noticeable on the smooth zooming but very subtle. I do remember having S22U issues with the camera but it was during the first few weeks (before the patches) and also I had the Exynos variant.
I always use expert raw since then no going back. It helps me with the extra room for LR edits. And yes post processing in Expert raw by default is far better than the normal camera. Thanks for highlighting it
It should be a default mode on the camera app! At least now it's easier to download. Remember when we had to wait for it? Definitely worth using it, makes a ton of difference when editing later
Thank you 🥰 But sadly no, as far as I know this only works for video, Pro Video and Hyperlapse modes. Maybe Slow Motion too, but that is via the USB-C port when you connect one of those SSDs I showed in this video.
I think phones should no longer be compared to the previous generation except for tech reviewers and for those who upgrade year to year. The updates are so tiny that it makes a difference after 3 years. Anyways thank you for actually testing it out and not just pointing out the cons and pros
Very true, it's getting virtually impossible to compare them from the previous year. A lot of the year on year changes are happening under the hood these days.
Does this phone finally fix the stutter or complete freeze for a few seconds of the notification panel pull down usually after you hit the power button after the phone has been asleep for a while. This issue has literally been around for years and most of my Samsung phones have had it. It's really annoying. It still happens on my Fold 5. This has been in plenty of forums with lots of people seeing it.
oh nice!! We are hopefully going to be in Brazil this year, can't wait! I haven't visited Serbia yet, but work with a lot of people from there, always so nice too!
That would be interesting and make the S24U an even better value device! I want to see how that changes the Expert RAW pics at 50MP and 200MP on the S24U. I saw most issues in those modes.
Another great video and the honesty is amazing. I hope you get a lot more sponsors in the future and also receive invites to Galaxy Unpacked and all major tech events. Keep it up!
right? Such a crazy heavy game to download too. It's a good benchmark test though, but the last phone I seem to remember truly struggling with it was the 12 Pro Max, many moons ago! Since then every phone seems to be able to handle it, albeit a bit on the hot side!
Thanks so much! That is Concepts. I love it for technical drawings, but it can be used for generic note taking too. It works on tablets as well, iPadOS and Android. Love it
Currently on s20FE 5G still getting security updates and use Niagra Pro as launcher. Got lost in so much spec. For £760 (work discount and trade in) do you see worth parting with cash / top difference. Appriciate your thoughts
It’s good to do these comparisons and there will always be slight differences between photos, displays, sound etc, but at this premium level at the end of the day everything will be excellent on these devices. Especially if you’ve been on a budget or mid level phone for a while. It will be night and day better. So if you do want to get an S24, S25 or iPhone you’ll be happy overall with photos, videos, sound and display. Samsung did improve the device though, that’s clear, despite removing BT support from the stylus.
An automatic spot metering option would be nice. The Olympus OM-2 had that around 1980, manual, and photos came out great with proper exposure of light and dark objects and backgrounds. I really miss that.
oh man, totally! I find it funny that with all this "AI" power, we still can't get basic exposure nailed. Saying that, they definitely know how to do it as the S24 Plus last year, with the Exynos chip was nailing those trickier light/dark scenarios
Thank you so much!! these videos would be too boring if I didn't take my audience into account 🥰 You helped me with your questions and comments, and this is where I always go first for inspiration! Have a great rest of the week!
@ Yes sir. As 80s kids, we had the best of both worlds. We grew up without technology, and now, as parents, we have all the technology we could ever want.
I have the Z Fold 6 but decided to try the s25 ultra for 2 weeks. This thing is amazing and the camera is far better. We will see what these two weeks bring me. Great video as always.
Nice one Ryan! I'd find it extremely difficult to choose between them two, but I guess I'd take the S25U if I really had to pick one, mainly for convenience. Hope you get on well with it!
Appreciate your content, I recently subscribed you for your way of delivering contents👌🏻. And please tell me how to remove those black bars, I want to do that too for my videos 😅
haha thanks so much! Man, I really want to replicate that issue. If you know a specific image/video that I can use to replicate it I will 100% give it a go. I think my videos are way more interesting when I include questions from my audience 👊🏼
It makes the shutter go fast, yes. But the blurry images in those poorly lit/kids/pets scenarios would still happen - the only consistent way I found to "fix it" is to use Pro/Expert RAW and dial in the aperture/ISO/shutter speed settings.
I'm being as critical as I want to be. But I understand you, its always a bit iffy when brands work with creators. All I can do is produce the best content I can and ask my community here what they'd like me to address. Which is do in almost every video so these comments are super useful. Honestly, though... I could be wrong but I get the sense that Samsung doesn't give a crap what I say. I've criticised them - quite harshly - before, and they still appreciate my perspective. With this device though...I'm seriously getting S23U vibes which for me was the phone of that year and a reference in the industry. Also, I didn't hide the flaws in my S25U videos and showed some are still there. But I also think there's a lot of hate on this device which feels disproportionate considering how much you can do with it comparatively. Appreciate your perspective though 🙏
Great video as always, I’m considering getting the S25 Ultra for my partner or the Oppo Find X Pro. Would you consider doing a recommended camera settings video for the S25 Ultra? I liked the Champions League segment btw….some trophies coming our way Alex. 🙌🏾
Haha this is our year! Hope I didn't just bloody jinx it 😆 I love the camera video idea, let me think on that 👊🏻 also, don't sleep on the OnePlus and Magic 7 Pro, some great features and cameras on those too. Think I'm buying the OnePlus 13 for reviews, the question is which one to let go of as a trade-in - right now it's between the iPhone 16 Pro and the Pixel 9 pro.
I will find you @ if we win nothing. 😂…the android side of the fence is confusing as I left it to go to Apple (yeah I know say nothing…I will return) So trying to find the best option for her, she hates Apple. 🫣
The removal of the s pen, its an ultra phone for the ultra pricetag, removing features to the excuse of cost saving and no one using it according to them, without offering reduction is a bad move. I dont blame people for calling this out. Their trade in deals are US mainly. Here in NZ its storage upgrade which is fine but my OnePlus was cheaper and has 16gb ram 512 gb storage default!
I heard the trade in in NZ isn't great. Someone said Samsung were offering 900 NZ$ for the S24U which really isn't that much for that phone after a year.
6:16 🧨🧨🧨💥💥💥!!! That sense of humor...I love it!!😂😂🤣 I had to put the video on pause just because that totally stupid thing made me start laughing so much! I know that it's utterly bonkers ( no offence), but that's what makes it nothing but Xcellent 😂
Swore I wasnt for upgrading my S24 Ultra and held firm for a few days after unpacked but Samsungs Trade in deals got me! 😂😂 New S25 Ultra 512Gb and free buds for about £100 after selling my S24 privately.
I think Gaming with everything on Max is the main killer here, but relatively heavy use daily seems to be pretty awesome. Early days and I wouldn't say it's S23U level, but way better than my S24U so far (that S23U lasted me a day and half even on busy days)
@ Thanks a lot. I hope next 3 to 4 years use and updates will not change much on this phone. I have bad experience with previous samsung devices except note or ultra series. Two years of use samsung battery draining so much and in the end I have switched to apple. Well apple in this case much more optimised and they did huge improvement over battery life. I am still waiting for this s25 ultra and after so many years with apple now wanna try this if that’s works well I will keep it for sure.
In other youtubers phone comparisons s 25 u photos feels like that a whitish slightly opaque filter has been applied to them as compaed to iphone or pixel. Did you encounter same in photos ?
I have noticed in some reviews that the iPhone is coming out way more 'orangey' on skin tones and slightly more saturated overall. To be honest, I've only looked at a few shots of my own on the iPhone, mostly for these last couple of videos. I want to make a proper camera comparison, I typically change my colour settings on the iPhone for a cooler one, rather than the default warm. I wonder if that is why we are seeing that difference. The Pixel has been pretty solid too, but again I need to do a proper camera comparison there.
I don't use the s pen that much in my s24 ultra, so it doesn't bother me. but when you remove a function like Bluetooth capability, people are NOT gonna be pleased. Especially for how much the device costs.
True... it just feels unbalanced though that many of the good things are not getting mentioned. Some even saying that nothing has changed which is crazy. Video quality alone is next level now
Hmm. Well i have the pixel 9 pro xl. Reliable yes. Its pure android unlike Samsung. Its very smooth and fluid so far. Battery is decent. Its a solid phone but it's mainly the camera that's amazing, also the phone is comfortable, and does everything just greatm. The Samsung is more powerful, better for content creation, spen functions a little bit different ecosystem and ai features. Again its very close Samsung probably has better battery in not sure .but i really love the pixel cuz the camera. I just really want Samsung because of battery and gaming. I just wish their camera was better.
As @loutersquadX mentioned, the Pixel is pretty fluid, no-frills device, awesome cameras. Both are very reliable but I'd say Samsung has been listening and made it a proper "Pro" device now. Small touches but very meaningful such as LOG and external SSD support. Not to mention the oldies like Dex and S-Pen.
From using the camera so long, did you have issues with the camera overheating and not being able to use for 15+ minutes? That's one of my biggest frustrations with the S21 Ultra.
not at all! the warmer this phone got was after 2+ hours of Genshin Impact. 104/105F which is expected after such a long time. Camera does make it warm after a busy session but nothing uncomfortable. I don't think I've seen this since the S22U to be fair
I haven't used the 9 Pro Fold, only held it for a while last year. I think you'd get more out of the S25U though, considering the S-Pen and Dex and of course a more established ecosystem too...But if you don't really care about those, then the Pixel would still be a great option, not much difference in terms of AI features.
100%! Fun fact... i returned mine originally and got it again to give it another chance. One thing remains annoying to me which us the battery life. But once I've built the recharging every other day into my routine life's been good with it. Lots more nuance and details on sleep tracking, training, running, etc so stay tuned 😉
Help please? The last Galaxy phone that I used was S21 Ultra then 2 years ago I switched to iPhone 14 Pro. I am planning to upgrade to S25 Ultra, because my contract has expired and my carrier is offering me a sweat deal. Should I go for it?
I loved my S21U, but I'd say you will see a huge leap in every department. But if your plan would increase too much, I'd also look at S24U, if they offer that instead for a lower price.
@ The thing is getting the S24U 512gig is the almost the same price when I get the S25U 512gig, because of the free upgrade. BTW, I've been a silent subscriber and tbh you are the closest youtuber that I can relate to with the way you do your reviews. I've been your subs since you were at 20k subs. Seeing your channel grows and the quality improves over time really makes me happy. Hoping you reach your 1M subs mark anytime soon!
Excellent video once again Alex. Am still undecided on whether to ditch my S24ultra and go for S25 Ultra sadly the trade in deals are not that good this year here in New Zealand as Samsung just offered $980 Nz$ for my S24 Ultra and there are no freebies too
Thank you so much! Honestly, if you are losing cash stay put. The differences are noticeable but I wouldn't advise an upgrade under those conditions. 450 quid (980 Nz$ equivalent) is simply too low for the s24U
@AlexGTech yes I agree . I also have a Oppo find X 8 pro which is an excellent device awesome cameras . Would suggest you doing a video on this devise . The only issue I had with it is signal drops . This is my first Oppo device
Hi Alex, i think most owners of the s24u are not even thinking of upgrading right now. Could you do a comparison with older phones? Like maybe the s22u? One selfish reason is that i own a s22u and am looking to upgrade, but also, i think most people that buy phones now are waiting multiple generations (2-4 years) to upgrade.
For me personally, I wouldn't even consider upgrading since I'm honestly satisfied, having a paid off phone is nice. But I'm considering upgrading since the trade in value and incentives are really persuasive. Getting a new s25u and a watch7 for $900 with trade in is a great deal. But only if it's a substantial improvement in photography and video.
Idris Elba once said, the black man needs to be twice as good as the white man to get the same recognition ( to the nearest meaning). In this instance, i feel the iPhone is the white man. Samsung get too much bashing even if they produce the same as iPhone.
Hi Alex, all UA-camrs focus ONLY on the camera, battery and other small things when comparing a Android vs Apple, please make a video on real life things like going to the airport and how apple shows you airplane ticket on the spot without doing a thing, or show the graphics on lock main screen when playing a song, or Dynamic Island when your uber driver, does Samsung do that?...it is a question, I do not know. Widgets on Samsung show on top of my clock for example (I guess it is a software bug) but it does not look as polished as IOS.....one more thing Samsung needs to do is for customers to be able to have Samsung apps available on a browser when we can see reminders, calendar and notes on your computer as well, having two apps for all is what makes me go back to IOS, I try every year Samsung but I always return to IOS because of this issues.
Gotta say the way Apple Wallet works and boarding passes is way nicer on iOS, can't disagree with you on that. I see the potential in the Now Brief to become what Dynamic Island should have been. Ive always said that I like the design and idea of it, but I hate how much screen real estate it takes up even when not in use which is most of the time.
@AlexGTech It was pun intended actually. The game is so unoptimised that no flagship can run it without complications. I'm a huge COD fan so I really want the game to succeed. The game's new season seems promising though. Can't wait to try it out on my S25U once it arrives.
I switched from iPhone 15 pm to the s24 ultra then thanks to o2 switch up l switched to 16 pro max. How does the 25 differ from the 24. Love apple iOS is smooth but getting boring but need an android device to really tempt me back
@@AlexGTech I'm pretty tech savvy but even I didn't know the exonos S24 plus took better pictures then the Snapdragon S24 plus. I learned that from your review last year. Keep up the good work Alex. Truly an informative Tech UA-camr 😊
Yes, Samsung removing Bluetooth from the S Pen for the Galaxy S24 Ultra seems like a strategic move rather than a limitation of technology. The previous S Pen (for the S23 Ultra) had Bluetooth functionality, enabling features like air gestures and remote camera control. Without Bluetooth, the S24 Ultra’s S Pen is now just a basic stylus. At the same time, Samsung is heavily promoting its Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring, both of which could handle some of the remote control features that the Bluetooth S Pen used to provide. This looks like a deliberate push to sell more accessories by making customers dependent on other Samsung devices. It’s a classic case of forced ecosystem buy-in-similar to what Apple does by limiting certain features unless you own multiple Apple products. Now Samsung is playing the same game, which is ironic given how they used to mock Apple for similar tactics. Would this change affect your decision to buy the S24 Ultra?
@ You’re absolutely right-most major tech companies now focus more on pleasing investors rather than pushing real innovation. Apple, in particular, has been playing it safe, with minimal design changes and iterative upgrades. The iPhone has looked nearly the same for four years, and they mostly tweak the camera and chip each year. OnePlus (for now) still seems to focus on enthusiast features-offering good hardware, fast charging, and a clean UI. But even they’ve started leaning towards mainstream trends, especially after merging more with OPPO. At this point, real innovation seems to come from companies like Nothing (Phone) with its unique design or foldables from Samsung and Google-though even foldables are starting to feel repetitive.
I've heard some suggest they want you to get more of their ecosystem products (like the watch and using that for remote shutter) so maybe what you are saying has some truth in it, who knows... all I would say is that when it comes to the S-Pen, over 90% of the time I am just pleased I have it, but my usage is very specific in photo editing whilst in the toilet 🚽 😅
Currently right now I'm using the s22 ultra I was going to upgrade to the s25 but with no Bluetooth S-Pen features it's the waste of my money at this point I'll just get the s24 ultra to keep pin functions for another 3 4 years
Although I do have the watch Ultra so I can replace some of the features but having that Bluetooth S-Pen was one of the main reasons to buy the phone it said it apart from any other brands
Damn... that was actually a decent iPhone imo. Depends really but if you are being offered a decent deal, I'd say there's more from a productivity alone that you can get out of the S25U
Because you are doing a great job with this videos you really deserve all the likes and the views you are getting. Keep it up! About the Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra I just want to say that it looks like great phone and OneUi just made a big leap in looks and customisations. I had the S23 ultra until last week , and I had it for 2 years with no issues, only some animation and transitions hiccups but they all fixed by an update 6 moths ago. Now I have an iPhone 16 pro Max, I switched because for the phone is a tool and it helps me in my work and in my personal life. 👍
Really appreciate that, thank you! And I 100% understand that, I had a pretty terrible experience with the latest iPhone but I am taking it back to Apple, there's gotta be something wrong with it. I still have lots of Apple stuff and as you say it's a great tool, especially as I use the MacBook Pro and Mac Minis for my video/photo editing.
Lot's of people apparently 😅 I always test those things too, though. I have noticed an improvement in Wi-Fi download speeds vs S24U but not much of an improvement (if any) on call reception.
You are absolutely right. My experience is the same that all phones can not make easy good pictures with moving objects especially animals so far. I have noticed this and actually I was better capable of making pic of my hamsters with the s24 ultra then with the iPhone 16 pro max (used both for the past weeks). I do make pictures different though and the hamsters weren't even moving that much at the moment I took the picture but still then the Iphone just couldn't make a proper picture of my hamster (it always looked moved) even though the Samsung was capable of making good pics of my hamsters(better without the focus actually on). I think it is a matter of knowing when to take the picture and I make better pics with my Samsung phones then with my iPhone 16 pro max and both have amazing camera and in normel conditions they are good anyway. I don't think the camera is neccesarily the problem, afterall this are phones not professional cameras haha. I did have a weird issue with my iPhone that sometimes the app stops functioning, it completely freezes and then I have to delete the app and reinstall it or restart the phone to get it working again. While I don't have that issue with my Samsung phones and actually my Samsung is quicker haha even the s24 ultra.
Yes, such a tricky one and each brand seems to be trying different things computationally. The iPhone seems to really do a good job at arms and legs for some reason, but messes up the faces. The Pixel sometimes absolutely nails the shot, only to completely blur it on the next 😅 My iPhone 16 Pro has been the worst since the 14PM. which is a shame as it's got so much potential. It deletes my apps way too aggressively, even though I don't have the 'offload unused' turned on and like yours, it crashed 2-3 times a week, sometimes in crucial situations like using Maps while driving at night in an unfamiliar location. I need to take it back to Apple though, this can't be normal.
Alex, your review stands out as exceptionally genuine and insightful. I truly appreciate your honesty and depth of perspective. Wishing you continued success-may your channel reach millions and beyond! ❤
Well done for testing the limits in a realistic non staged setting. This is how to review a product and a feature 👍 I think the only real upgrade is the chipset, otherwise as I’ve stated before, this is a sideways and a downgrade circa around -85% when compared to the S24U. Thanks Alex 🤓
Cheers Lee! Yes, the more I use it the more I see little improvements here and there. But can't hand in heart recommend an upgrade from S24U, unless there is nothing to lose financially. Have a great weekend!! (but then I remember, you lucky sod - it's always weekends for you! 🥰)
Design wise, go with the Samsung. Name brand, go with the iPhone of course. Still photo, go with Samsung. Video shootings, go with iPhone of course. There's only two most influential brand out there. Who doesn't know by now both Samsung and iPhone are the true kings of smartphone out there. You really can't go wrong with either phone. They both have their ups and downs and differ by a slight margin at most. Question is, which do you prefer? It's all preferences.
I think it's becoming more and more less binary when it comes to smartphones. So many good brands out there, getting better and better. Both Samsung and Apple need to step up soon or they will have their dinner eaten up by competitors 😅 I do think Samsung has also been catching up on videos. I was honestly shook by the main camera 4K 60 quality...
You get smarter with a 🖊 pen in your hand ✋️. Remember that. Your brain 🧠 needs it. It exercises your brain. Especially from a child. Samsung think before you do something. ✌️🇦🇺
Interesting! It makes sense really. I like taking notes in meetings too, even though I rarely go back to them - sometimes I now use a voice recorder which I then use AI to summarise for me, but I am sure having written some of it down is what actually helps me memorise things.

Amazing right? Well, that carries a lot of weight coming from someone who used iOS for so long. I haven't looked into this but I feel like there are plenty of Android users who would say the same about going the other way, but right now... I think there are more iOS users considering a jump.
As a former iOS user and current Android user, I can say that Android has more features and flexibility, but iOS is more stable, fluid, and secure.

@ of course I didn't. Continue with such a good work, your videos are exceptional (I hope we can say that same thing about Samsung cameras one day) 😃
The sound improvement from S24 to S25 is dramatic. Huge improvement 👍
Holy! What a compliment!! 🥹 will definitely keep doing what I'm doing 👊🏻
So many truthful natural shots at iphone 😂. Love it. Samsung needs to update their camera though.
Agreed, 100% hardware-wise I am hoping this is the last time they've re-used it
Hey, may I ask what app is that at 3:08 for drawing? I've seen it mentioned in many videos but I couldn't figure out which app it is
"Concepts"
@@mrjub Thank you!
Concepts, works on tablets too and iOS/iPadOs. Great app!
JUST received mine in Jade Green at home, but I'm at work. Looking forward to seeing it.
Let's go!! Great choice of colour too!
Go work from home for the rest of the day 😂
@@CoachD77 I'm already trying to think of good excuses to do just that lol
Time for a half day i would say lol
@@kramdens1967 Haha, I don't blame you. Maintenance guy coming ?
I always use expert raw since then no going back. It helps me with the extra room for LR edits. And yes post processing in Expert raw by default is far better than the normal camera. Thanks for highlighting it
It should be a default mode on the camera app! At least now it's easier to download. Remember when we had to wait for it? Definitely worth using it, makes a ton of difference when editing later
Alex, love the site. When you talk about the photos being able put on external storage, does that on a SD card in the good ol’ days ?
@@AlexGTech Like a car...
Two weeks of daily usage and not seen that yet...
Great review as always Alex👍 we need more reviews keep up the good work.
Working on it, thank you so much 😊
Getting mine this weekend. Can't wait for try it out, plus I got a great deal from the UK Samsung site. Great video with so many great photos. ❤
Sweet! Gotta say their deals this year is reminding me of the Samsung of old. Great to see
Have the s25 ultra the "now playing" function like the Pixel iPhones?
Love your videos and the passion you put in them. Also, my best friend is a Carioca, and Brazilian Portuguese has a special place in my Serbian heart.
oh nice!! We are hopefully going to be in Brazil this year, can't wait! I haven't visited Serbia yet, but work with a lot of people from there, always so nice too!
@AlexGTech I saw what I think was a cloud architecture drawing on your phone, so I wouldn't be surprised you work with Serbia 🤣😉
Do you think the S24U cameras will match the S25U cameras after the one UI7 update? Apart from the 50mp ultra wide obviously.
That would be interesting and make the S24U an even better value device! I want to see how that changes the Expert RAW pics at 50MP and 200MP on the S24U. I saw most issues in those modes.
Maybe an idea for a video when the stable update rolls out to the S24U?
Great content, just subscribed 👍👍
Let's go!! Thank you so much! Welcome to the channel 🥰
Another great video and the honesty is amazing. I hope you get a lot more sponsors in the future and also receive invites to Galaxy Unpacked and all major tech events. Keep it up!
Thank you so much, very kind words! I hope so too 🥰
one of the best content creator out there frr. Found your page around a month ago and been watching all your posts.
What a comment! you're too kind 🥰
I feel Gensin Impact is just very poorly optimised hence the performance/temps
right? Such a crazy heavy game to download too. It's a good benchmark test though, but the last phone I seem to remember truly struggling with it was the 12 Pro Max, many moons ago! Since then every phone seems to be able to handle it, albeit a bit on the hot side!
Alex, your videos are next level!
Thanks so much Charles!! 🥰
Hi Alex, thanks for the video! Very useful. What app is the one you are using for drawing on minute 3:10? Thanks
Thanks so much! That is Concepts. I love it for technical drawings, but it can be used for generic note taking too. It works on tablets as well, iPadOS and Android. Love it
Absolutely loved this review! Consistently turning into one of my favourite reviewers for pure, unbiased content. Thank you Alex!❤
My absolute pleasure! The only thing I wish was to have more time to create more videos, I LOVE making these videos. Have a great day 🙏🏼
I think only the pura 70 ultra removes it automatically. motion capture is the only option.
Yeah it helps. Doesn't salvage every shot but gives you a good chance
This was great 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you! More where that came from 😉
Currently on s20FE 5G still getting security updates and use Niagra Pro as launcher.
Thank you so much for keeping it real and listen to your audience! Subscribed !
Thank you so much!! these videos would be too boring if I didn't take my audience into account 🥰 You helped me with your questions and comments, and this is where I always go first for inspiration! Have a great rest of the week!

Hi Alex, as always great video. What aspect ratio do you use? as watching your video without black bars was a great experience on my huawei mate 20 x!
I think it's 2:1.17 (don't quote me on that) the actual resolution is 3840x1772
You lose the.end cards on YT but I think people prefer it
@AlexGTech yes definitely, much more immersive experience
Got mine today. Love it!
yay!! Which colour did you go with?
I have a pixel 9 pro XL, Do you think is a good idea trade a get the S25 ultra?
Only if youre not losing cash. Sure you can do more with the S25U (S-Pen, Dex, better ecosystem, etc.) But the Pixels are awesome too!
isn't there any way to pair S24' pen w/S25? At least to understand if the lost bt functionality is only with the new pen...
No... I tried 🥰 the S24U Pen won't even go in properly.
All support from Florida buddy 🤝
I'm a busy dad who loves tech just like you so I can relate to a lot of the stuff you say in your videos 😉
That's awesome, thanks so much! I fee so lucky to have grown up in the 80s and experienced this huge advances in consumer tech. I love this job!
@ Yes sir. As 80s kids, we had the best of both worlds. We grew up without technology, and now, as parents, we have all the technology we could ever want.
Great video as usual. Teve até uns trechos em português. ❤.
Opa! E já foi gravado em Português também! 😉
I'm thinking of buying Oneplus 13 or Oppo find X8 pro. Which one would you choose?
I haven't used the Oppo yet, but briefly looked at the OnePlus 13 and will 100% get one myself. So I guess that answers that 🥰
Appreciate your content, I recently subscribed you for your way of delivering contents👌🏻. And please tell me how to remove those black bars, I want to do that too for my videos 😅

The only reviewer who truly tests out everything - epic Alex (PS we were chatting over banding on X hehe)
haha thanks so much! Man, I really want to replicate that issue. If you know a specific image/video that I can use to replicate it I will 100% give it a go. I think my videos are way more interesting when I include questions from my audience 👊🏼
You can use the camera assistant to pretty much remove the "shutter lag"
It makes the shutter go fast, yes. But the blurry images in those poorly lit/kids/pets scenarios would still happen - the only consistent way I found to "fix it" is to use Pro/Expert RAW and dial in the aperture/ISO/shutter speed settings.
I hope you become more critical. It seems you are afraid to grill samsung. Becoming a shill for companies is not good
I'm being as critical as I want to be.
Appreciate your perspective though 🙏
you did a great job with this review . very well done !!
Thank you kindly! More where that came from 😊 have a lovely weekend when you get there 👊🏻
Great video as always, I’m considering getting the S25 Ultra for my partner or the Oppo Find X Pro. Would you consider doing a recommended camera settings video for the S25 Ultra? I liked the Champions League segment btw….some trophies coming our way Alex. 🙌🏾
Haha this is our year! Hope I didn't just bloody jinx it 😆
I love the camera video idea, let me think on that 👊🏻 also, don't sleep on the OnePlus and Magic 7 Pro, some great features and cameras on those too.
That sense of humor...I love it!!😂😂🤣
I had to put the video on pause just because that totally stupid thing made me start laughing so much!
I know that it's utterly bonkers ( no offence), but that's what makes it nothing but Xcellent 😂
hahaha Thanks Eivind! Was going to push it by adding an actual Aerosmith clip in this video at 1:25 too, but it was a silly joke too far 😅
Swore I wasnt for upgrading my S24 Ultra and held firm for a few days after unpacked but Samsungs Trade in deals got me! 😂😂 New S25 Ultra 512Gb and free buds for about £100 after selling my S24 privately.
Gotta give it to Samsung this year, their deals remind me of the Samsung of old! Well done for securing that!
Execellent content. Still a concern about long run batterly life on this phone.
Nice review Alex!
Thank you very much 🥰
In other youtubers phone comparisons s 25 u photos feels like that a whitish slightly opaque filter has been applied to them as compaed to iphone or pixel.
@AlexGTech thanks for the prompt reply
Nice review bruv. You just gain yourself a subscriber!
Welcome aboard, thank you so much 🙏 more to come, hopefully dropping another one this weekend 👊🏻
also whay happened to yout samsung tab s10 ultra full review???
well remembered! It's coming 👊🏼 Love that tablet...
@AlexGTech I've been using it for my uni work as well as a 'laptop replacement'. I loved your "mini" review of it, which actually made me buy the tab.
Video quality alone is next level now
What did we gain... does removing it make the phone lighter, less expensive, thinner? Everything is a trade off...
Awesome video as always, thanks for the aspect ratio!
My absolute pleasure! Will keep them coming, for as long as I can!
I’m torn between getting this or the Pixel 9 Pro. I’m after the most reliable. 🤔
@AlexGTech can u compare it to s24 ultra side by side
From using the camera so long, did you have issues with the camera overheating and not being able to use for 15+ minutes? That's one of my biggest frustrations with the S21 Ultra.
not at all! the warmer this phone got was after 2+ hours of Genshin Impact. 104/105F which is expected after such a long time. Camera does make it warm after a busy session but nothing uncomfortable. I don't think I've seen this since the S22U to be fair
Where did you gat that snake wallpaper please?
It's a licensed one from stock Adobe. If you have that, ping me a DM on insta (link in my UA-cam page) and I will see how I can help 😉
Thanks for a great video. I have a pixel 9 pro fold, do you think it will be worth to trade it in for this phone?
I haven't used the 9 Pro Fold, only held it for a while last year. I think you'd get more out of the S25U though, considering the S-Pen and Dex and of course a more established ecosystem too...But if you don't really care about those, then the Pixel would still be a great option, not much difference in terms of AI features.
@AlexGTech yes, I might miss the big screen (unfolded)
you are so kind. I love your content bro, keep going and best of luck, as always nice review
Thank you!! Will definitely keep these coming, I love this job 🥰
Hey Alex, are you planning to do any Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra review? Looking forward to see any review of that.
100%! Fun fact... i returned mine originally and got it again to give it another chance.
Loved your video. Can you do a proper speaker test comparing 25 ultra with s24 ultra and iphone 16 pro max? It would be really helpful.
thank you! And will do 🙏🏼 I did a similar thing at 6:36 though - with 16 Pro and S24 Ultra.

Excellent video Bro..I am using S24 Ultra, may be waiting up to S27 Ultra..S25 Ultra looking awesome 🎉🎉🎉
Which game is that?
I think I showed clips of Night Crows, Sky and Genshin Impact
Im one of new yours subscriber :) totally enjoying your videos. This year going to skip s25u. And move from s24u to x200pro..
Ps.great video !
Awesome, thank you! I heard great things about the X200 Pro, I am sure you won't be disappointed!
Great video
thank you sir!
Indeed... do you have the Snapdragon or Exynos S22U?
@AlexGTech snapdragon
Top video editing and review! As always! Sticking with S23 Ultra for at least one more year. Cheers...
Thanks man!! Honestly, can't blame ya! I kinda regret selling my S23U. I think if I wasn't doing these reviews I'd still be with it
Idris Elba once said, the black man needs to be twice as good as the white man to get the same recognition ( to the nearest meaning).
In this instance, i feel the iPhone is the white man. Samsung get too much bashing even if they produce the same as iPhone.
interesting! I do feel like the brand/status sometimes comes first to a lot of consumers, sadly.
@AlexGTech btw, love the full screen content. Keep it up.
Warzone Mobile would be the ultimate benchmark for testing performance. 😂😂
I see that a lot on UA-cam. It doesn't feel like it, but I don't know.. happy to try it 🤣
@AlexGTech It was pun intended actually. The game is so unoptimised that no flagship can run it without complications. I'm a huge COD fan so I really want the game to succeed. The game's new season seems promising though. Can't wait to try it out on my S25U once it arrives.
Thank you Alex for the great video. Can't wait for your S25 and S25 Plus reviews.
My pleasure!! S25 Plus already in the works 👀

I changed it on day 1 to QHD+ 3120x1440
Cool, that's no problem I'll just spend my money with another comapny.... bo BiGGIE
You got a subscriber.
Thank you so much!! Welcome to the channel 🥰
Bro I have 15 pro max so should i upgrade with samsung galaxy s25 ultra ?
Damn... that was actually a decent iPhone imo.
I still have lots of Apple stuff and as you say it's a great tool, especially as I use the MacBook Pro and Mac Minis for my video/photo editing.
how about cell phone reception and sound quality? Who cares about the camera or Ai. .
I don't want to miss a thing Aerosmith 😂
haha I was 🤏🏼 this close to actually using a clip from the 90s. But I thought it would be too corny 😂 next time!
Alex, your review stands out as exceptionally genuine and insightful.
I truly appreciate your honesty and depth of perspective. Wishing you continued success-may your channel reach millions and beyond!
❤
Oh wow, thank you so much!
@AlexGTech 😉😉😉🤣
I am still waiting for the full review of Honor Magic 7 Pro. 🙏
Coming sooner than you think 😉
You follow Sao Paulo football team?
Yes sir, its my team in Brazil 🥰
You get smarter with a 🖊 pen in your hand ✋️. Remember that. Your brain 🧠 needs it. It exercises your brain. Especially from a child. Samsung think before you do something. ✌️🇦🇺
Interesting! It makes sense really. I like taking notes in meetings too, even though I rarely go back to them - sometimes I now use a voice recorder which I then use AI to summarise for me, but I am sure having written some of it down is what actually helps me memorise things.
Kudos Alex
Thank you!❤
