    Can't say it enough Paige is the truth. She is the total package and some. I've been watching women's basketball for years on and off because my daughter's played and I never seen a freshman as seasoned as her. Seriously when her playing career is over I see her being a great coach as well. Already well spoken.

    Had Paige and Aaliyah been sophomores, this game wouldnt have been close.

    Yes there are many missed calls during any game. However, a missed call during the last two minutes is more important and considered so by the NCAA’s own rules that make special review rules for the final two minutes of a game. The refs goofed, it does happen, it was not done on purpose but Baylor is justified in being upset by the missed call. U Con should count their lucky stars. Both teams played a great game.

    • @ellenmaxon1394
      @ellenmaxon1394 3 роки тому

      @Anthony Tomassi in know what the last two.minutw reviews are for.my point is missing any call in the last two minutes is a bigger deal, more critical. That is why they review some calls during the last two.minites that they don't during the rest of the game. This points to getting things right in the last two.minites is of a higher importance than the rest of the game.othwrqise why have different reviews during that time? Cause it is more important! The refs blew a major call in the last two.minutes. Baylor has a reason to be pissed...but also that is the way it goes. Go Wildcats!

      @Katrina Steinmetz Of course He didn't cause it. I was hoping that people would understand that I meant that the OPPORTUNITY was a gift from God. Also, maybe it was a teachable moment for Baylor. MAYBE, they needed to be shown that they shouldn't be so dependent on one player. MAYBE their opponent shouldn't be able to score 19 points on them just because this one player is out of the game.

    Baylor’s coach should have called a TO early during UConn’s 19-0 run. Instead, she let their rally play out and blew their ten point lead, a big mistake that her team could not overcome. Baylor should have won, but since I’m a UConn fan since the Lobo years, I’m glad they prevailed, thanks to PB’s scoring streak. If UConn goes on to win the Championship, they may start a streak there, too, considering next year’s incoming recruits.

Olivia, Christian and Evina who are the upper classmen - they hesitated to lead the team and make the big plays. Geno was on the other side of the court, and two players were right in front of her blocking his view. More likely to lie was the Baylor coach whose view was directly blocked by the two Uconn defenders and also being on the other side of the basket from her. Carrington did a big overacting job, which I think hurt her case. In any event, I wouldn't expect a coach going into the final four to criticize the refs - it's not going to help.
