In Kotor 1 and 2 you could be evil and in Star Wars the Old Republic you can play as a Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter or an Imperial Agent
Battlefront 2 was just such a joke, they pushed so much that we'd be playing from the bad guys point of view, only for the disgusting traitor Iden to turn traitor not even like 1/4 of the way into the game
If you all would like a game like that, then conceptualize it and sell it to EA. If you don’t know how, do some research. If you don’t know how to research, pay attention in history class.

It's a single player experience and these developers can only fk it up on their own. I didn't like Dice's BF2 because they just used their multiplayer mechanics, shoving it into the single player campaign.
It would be cool if there was a modern star wars rpg, customise your character/weapon, choose your path, explore different immersive worlds and with a good story. But with EA in control of star wars and bioware dead i doubt thats gonna happen anytime soon.

@@asheer9114 Ashoka is more than just a seasoned Jedi. She has the skills and experience of a Jedi master. Kal is an upper level padawan. Upper level Padawans are still really powerful. Look at Episode 1 Kenobi, Episode 2 Anakin, season 5 TCW Ashoka, Kal, Kannan in Rebels season 1-2, season 5 TCW Barris, and basically Ezra in Rebels season 3 (and I don't even like that show). Kannan in Rebels season 3 is a better example of a seasoned Jedi because he has the skills of a talented Jedi knight but, he was still more powerful than most Jedi knights would be. Star Wars rank is inconsistent with abilities. By the end of the game, All probably has the skills of a Jedi knight. During the beginning of the game, he's probably like ROTJ Luke, Episode 2 Anakin, season 3 Ashoka, and Episode 1 Kenobi.

You familiar with a story called "Songs of the Chained Ones' Fury?" That mess actually does a complete reversal in some storytelling structures, making the villains the "main characters" of the tale. Some of the main characters/villains are Karikoga, Gabriel, Shihowa, and Michael Tonderai who are all blood-brothers and descendants of a legendary warrior figure named Murray Tonderai -- a Righteous One. The brothers had strayed from the Narrow Road -- the way of Christ -- and turned to the Path of Darkness, the way of Satan and his fallen angels (the demons). The beginning of the story is crazy--although the story isn't out yet until around late 2020 or early 2021. But why does it matter? Because much of the character perspective comes from the Path of Darkness. So, you'd definitely like this story.
I like how everyone wants the same thing: a final boss with Vader that can't be beaten. I'd like for it to become progressively more difficult. Like it starts out easy with Vader being more cautious. As the battle progresses, Vader becomes more ferocious and powerful and overwhelms the player

Joe Marano Very few people can match up to Vader’s power. He is the chosen one. You would need to be at a master level to even begin to think of having a chance, and there’s no way some Padawan is going to reach master level by the end of the game, unless a huge timeskip.

That was the initial plot of battlefront 2 but Disney genuinely did not like it so they had to scrap it and start over because of it. They get the final say in any game.

I want a game where the story alternates btwn Vader and a protagonist. One of the best parts of the force awakens game was the Vader scene. It was badass! Give me more of that

This game is gonna be awesome! Massive G definitely knows how to get people excited for this game. I’ve been pre-ordered the deluxe edition and after seeing this review and a brief history of the comic book Star Wars version I’m pumped up even more to want to play the game. As for wanting to play as Darth Vader or second sister or whatever sisters, One would hope the success of this game can allow Respawn to want to make a continuation or part two game where we can play a character from one the empire antagonist such as say Darth Vader etc. Let’s see! Respawn needs to make a trilogy of these games. One about darth mail leading his underground syndicate or whatever tf he’s doing between 3 and 4. And then one about Luke after episode 6, voiced by Mark Hamill himself. That way we can FINALLY get a good story and some Jedi action with the man himself, big daddy Skywalker. Disney and Lucasfilm have done Luke dirty, pissed off the fans, disrespected Mark and shot them selves in the foot. I feel a game like this would do Luke justice. And it’s in keeping with the idea of a “Fallen Order”.
They should make the inquisitior a hero in Star Wars battlefront to replace maul I think it’s incredibly annoying to find Maul fighting for the empire canonically speaking

I would love a star wars game, where we play as a darkside user or bounty hunter, it would be so cool with all the graphical advancements lately, im kinda tired of the generic good guy vs bad guy story.

This game is gonna be awesome! Massive G definitely knows how to get people excited for this game.
I’ve been pre-ordered the deluxe edition and after seeing this review and a brief history of the comic book Star Wars version I’m pumped up even more to want to play the game.
As for wanting to play as Darth Vader or second sister or whatever sisters, One would hope the success of this game can allow Respawn to want to make a continuation or part two game where we can play a character from one the empire antagonist such as say Darth Vader etc.

Respawn needs to make a trilogy of these games. One about darth mail leading his underground syndicate or whatever tf he’s doing between 3 and 4. And then one about Luke after episode 6, voiced by Mark Hamill himself. That way we can FINALLY get a good story and some Jedi action with the man himself, big daddy Skywalker. Disney and Lucasfilm have done Luke dirty, pissed off the fans, disrespected Mark and shot them selves in the foot. I feel a game like this would do Luke justice. And it’s in keeping with the idea of a “Fallen Order”.
They should make the inquisitior a hero in Star Wars battlefront to replace maul I think it’s incredibly annoying to find Maul fighting for the empire canonically speaking
Given what they’ve done to Battlefront I think it’s pretty laughable to assume EA is saving some great secret awesome sauce in the game. Thus far they’ve shown they don’t give a damn about Star Wars
