You guys should have your own TV show. Very educational and informative. Adventure Archaeology rocks and your finds are awesome.
Nice bottle awesome
Love this v video!!!
Another entertaining and educational video! Thanks!
Wow. Your on the money there. Good place to find all kinds of good stuff. I got one of those here.
another great video. i look forward to these
👍🏻
I know several people who have walked the bars on the Luxapalila in Alabama for Indian artifacts . Very nice find !
Amazing video! Nice finds!
Cool thanks, really enjoy your videos!
Great video Brandon! Thanks for taking the time to make something that is pleasant to watch from start to finish.
I have heard that Budgie Grit is excellent for cleaning the inside of bottles. The Grit is crushed oyster shells. Great video!
Q; do then bottles wash from rubbish tips or from picnickers throwing bottles into river?
Thanks for the tumbler info! Do you think the copper shavings or BB's would work when tumbling coins that have been dug while metal detecting. Not collectible coins, but spendable ones like clad. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
I always use fish aquarium gravel for my clad! I think the copper would color the coins like pennies do!
How about using wine cork to help secure bottles in your homemade tumbler
Wow gretat find and a very usefull video might just try yhe tumbler idea..thanks for sharing your knowledge hope you have a productive and fun weekend ..big hello from Edinburgh Scotland..
Great video dude the rock tumbling bottle tumbling deal really open my eyes on how to clean them I didn't know I've tried sticking stuff down in scrubbing and polishing and it just that look like your stuff thanks again for a good video keep them coming I like them
Brandon; Would you consider tumbling a viewer's bottle ? It's a cloudy "Dumbo Soda". Clean but milky looking.. suspect it was acid dipped too long?
Awesome! I have been digging here in Alabama for roughly a year now and i did not know how to get the bottles clean. I have some really cool ones like 1915 Albany coke and they are dirty inside.
The tumbler, wouldnt this damage/scratch the bottles?
There is always a risk of damage. But the copper does not scratch glass.
@@adventurearchaeology copper is "soft" and I guess glass is harder. I do know that putting coins into a tumbler is bad. Many coins have copper in it that can be scratched.
I'm surprised the copper doesn't scratch up the glass really bad
While you were talking about the tumbler I noticed you had some PVC pipe with caps on the ends. Did you try to make a tumbling tube out of PVC? That's what I was thinking of doing. Another awesome video, congrats on the hutch
@@adventurearchaeology Good to know. Also, went creek walking today and found...you guessed it a Waterman's Ink. Please making videos, you're awesome!
It took a little while but I figured out the PVC tube. My tumbler came with extra belts that fit perfectly on the sides of schedule 40 3-inch caps. Also bought copper from Rotometals.com $6.99 a pound for cut wire. If its ok I'll email you some pictures.
Nice ! Another good one . I would like to go there ; it looks like there is enough Creek to explore and maybe find something . It will probably have to wait till spring of 2020 . I was going to visit a friend
that moved to BIRMINGHAM , AL
to check out the creeks but I think you guys combed that area out pretty good. Have a good one ! Time to work .
I always appreciate good how-to’s. And CHEAP ones!
Great video guys. Do you tumble the bottles for 48 hours continuously?
Hey 👋 I have really enjoy your videos I’m so sorry the coin you found wasn’t rap I was bummed for you. I have some bottles I don’t know anything about them. If I can take some good pictures of them could you possibly help me. Thank you 🙏. God Bless you all 🙏🙏🙏🌻🌻🌻
Thank you so much for the info on your tumbling method. Yours is my favorite channel on UA-cam!
Sweet hutch find. Definitely looking at your set up for cleaning bottles. Might make one myself like that.
Brandon, does your tumbling set-up remove an inordinate amount of the raised embossed lettering, or is it less so? I'm considering getting into bottle tumbling, but I fear the loss of glass from the tumbling process - thanks in advance!
Thanks for the awesome vid guys, makes a wonderful start to my weekend. Have a great one xxx
What a lucky find! Makes the whole day. You and Heath, with the whole "Check that out" cracks me up! 🤣 maybe you guys can go back to that creek and find the source of the bottles. Thanks for all the info 👍👍
Attention collecters!, buy this $7 polishing surface spray( Mr Sheen ) makes glass more shiny than it was new, and can also do plastics and wood
So awesome! Good history and good information! That's why I watch your videos! But did you know that Waterman invented the first fountain pen ? Check that story out. It is interesting and pretty much changed the world. Thanks Guys! Looking forward to the next one! Ps , I still want to talk to you Brandon.
a gallon of muriatic acid for $10 at walmart does the job for me. Just have to be carful with it. But i also like the ghetto tumbler. Thumbs Up...
very interesting tutorial on cleaning the bottles. I really enjoy these videos!
Brilliant upload lads 👏
Thanks for the information 👍🇮🇪
thanks for taking the time to give us a history lesson on these interesting things. much appreciated!
Hi there, really nice channel,if you don't mind me asking, do you reckon foreign bottles could have a market over there in the us?
I often come there and I wanna start collecting here in Italy but I wanna get some of the less rare more iconic items from the us side aswell :)
Never thought about it before, but Yeah Using copper shavings makes alot of since. If I ever get to go bottle hunting, I may use these videos to help rig up a cleaner. I really like the information you give for those of us, who are not professional hunters or people with connections.
Awesome how that Columbus bottle was just hanging out waiting to be found under that ledge for you!
Thx for the Waterman's story and the tumbling tutorial. I found my first intact Hutch on the surface behind a home construction site. It had been kicked out of the hole and came to rest in the berm. Couldn't believe nobody grabbed it. HH
What a great bottle you found there. I like your own set-up. It's not costly and gets the job done 👍
Thanks for the educational video Brandon now I'm going to try to make one for myself 😁
Awesome hunt and great finds with lots of history and information. I love it and I have to go back and watch more videos. Thanks for sharing and Gl and HH
Great find, pal. Your tumbler seems to work quite well.
Keep up the amazing vids
y'all some hutch finding rascals..... great hunt guys... keep up the great work and God bless
Sweet bottle! I’m gonna try and pull out a few bottles tomorrow! I’ll send ya some pics if we get into anything! Good luck brother!
Nice hunt and amazing find. Thanks for sharing your setup and cleaning tips. Sure beats everything I've tried lol. Take care.
I just can't shake the feeling of getting on my phone and seeing that you made a new video.Keep up the good work.
👋😄➡️ 🧤 *You could take a latex glove and pull it over the end of your Clorox wipes container, then stick a rubber band around it to secure it, that way you don't have to mess with duct tape.*
Brandon! A beautiful hutch! Wow! You lucky thing. I came in at the end of the live stream (sorry!), and saw your tumbler. I think it's awesome! Thanks for the info on the Waterman's ink, also. Another great video!
I always enjoy your videos but if I may share a little constructive criticism in that I found the background music a little irritating and takes away from your dialog. Keep up the good work and thanks for the tumbling tips
Way cool Brandon ! I’ve sent bottles off to be cleaned & polished , but all I really care about is clean, could not justify the expense of a tumbler , now I think it’s a possibility at least ! Thanx a million 🤘🏻
Do you have to worry about alligators where you are? Snapping turtles are bad enough...
Another great vid, and congrats on the Columbus bottle!
I think I'll have to try that setup you have...I'm a country boy rigger-digger, so I think that would be an easy build for me. Now I just have to find bottles not from the 50's....
I'm surprised Scott hasn't dug that creel totally up already. Could I tell you a story.
not to far from me.
Could you use a nipple from a bottle, glued to the top of your clorox top, to keep your bottle centered?
Like the new music great vid I also have a Warner safe bottle I found in a creek cool drone shots to
I've been watching some of your shows and they are quite interesting... Especially when you put in the information about history, thanks for that.
That being said I know you're searching for Hutch bottles because that's pretty much all you talk about LOL but there was one time that you guys found a tall cylindrical bottle I believe it had Heinz on the bottom... I have quite a few of that type of bottle but they don't have any company name. That being said oh, it doesn't look like you guys took it out with you, only Coca-Cola bottle and a VHS tape for crying out loud. Please, please, please bring out the cylindrical bottles some of them are olives others are capers Etc. I still have one fairly good-sized one that has the label on it. I am searching for more of them all the time... They are incredible to use for spices.
A lot of people just collect their bottles I actually collect mine and use them for spices and food storage, I display them openly so it's quite a nice collection and I don't feel like I just have a bunch of glass sitting around because I'm actually using them. I can't tell you how many people have drooled over the tall cylindrical bottles that you obviously didn't care enough to save.
If you find any more I would love to touch base with you on how to get them. Keep up the good work with all the hunting and digging, we can't try hard enough to save history... Someone has to do it :-)
Thumbs down, thumbs down, you work hard and get all the good bottles and you don't let us have a chance because you work hard and are always one step ahead of us, 😭😭😭😭😭😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your killing me watching you in those low clear streams. My spots just about get to a point where the conditions are right then it pours and craps up the works again. What was that Hutch worth?
It is probably a 75-100$ bottle. But it cleaned up soooooo nice haha
Killer is so annoying change it
😂🤣 love the opening scene... "Ok guy's...we're swimming! OOOHHH!"😂🤣 Nice job and finds today gentlemen!
another great video. i look forward to these
Where can you find someone that takes the time to educate on how to clean a bottle and then be given a bottles historical beginnings all in one show? Well If you don't know by now I say clean out your ears and open your eyes because class is in session at Adventure Archaeology!
Thanks Wayne!
Totally agree!
what happened to your upload?
