For Jinhsi's S2, doesnt out of combat mean out of combat (like when you can and cant swap your team)? If they mean not on the field, why wouldn't they just say that? Her S2 just sounds like its for farming overworld cuz you'd never get to max her stacks in the overworld otherwise.

Basically nobody knows lol, it's been a hot topic on Reddits for weeks now. Some say it's just for having a insta nuke on the first rotation in TOA, since otherwise s3 giving more stacks wouldnt make sense. However some say its another localization/mistranslation. We will have to wait and see it tested, but if I had to guess it is likely not every time you swap otherwise that would be way too broken.

Ya my math was like 21 seconds with no outro and like 8 seconds with jinhsi outro assuming coordinated attacks from yinlin and morty, jinhsi on field. I don’t have her but just reading forte and outro description thats what it seems like. Idk what this guy is smoking with 2 minutes

Just did the DEF ignore math for lvl 90 char vs lvl 100 enemy. 40% DEF ignore is a 25.7% dmg increase. 55% DEF ignore is a 39.1% dmg increase.
Flaming vow is her Forte Circuit. And this website’s info is not updated.

Pulling Changli waifu for sure but not just that she matches my playstyle i also prefer not swapping. I even sometimes forget to.

The forte is called Flaming vow and the Havy atk dmg it deal is called Flaming sacrifice. Yeah it written incorrectly.
Honestly, I'd prefer to see Changli as a sub-dps or hybrid support. Because we didn't have much hybrid support with some damage in their kit right now. The support role fits Changli's personality much better.
that is wrong. Buffs =/= support. If a character deals 1 bazillion damage and demands 12 seconds of uptime that’s still a main dps no matter how you look at it.
Alpha in PGR for example buffs the team but there is not a single person who would call her a hybrid, that’s silly.
Unlike Genshin There are only 3 characters and no reactions. So for a main dps to enable their sub dps, they have to actually provide outgoing buffs OR off field damage. In Genshin you could have the main dps providing fire so the wind support can swirl. But that’s not possible here, so we have supportive abilities on apparent main dealers.
I saw somewhere saying , she gain 1 incondesence every 1sec if the unit deals dmg of different attribute, it becomes 3 sec if the dmg is the same attribute that is spectro. we will see after she release tomorrow i guess
@@hrishavdas6999 every 3 sec with one element, 2 every 3 with 2, with outro it's quicker, and with Mortefi its fastest although his outro doesn't particularly benefit her (or Yinlin, prolly the better choice ngl)

If both of them were equal in that department, as it LOOKS now, what then? Pull for them both? jk Seriously though, you're not being helpful at all if you _really_ think about it. When was stating the obvious ever helpful? Does "pull for whoever looks more fun for YOU" even have to be said? Here's what probably happens when two characters pop up in the limited banner events: "Wow these look fire, I wonder if this one is any good? Let me check out some showcase videos... Oh, that looks alright. Let me see about the other one. Nice! Man they both look fun to play. I'll check what my favorite content creator says about them." Not every scenario is the same, ofc. For e.g., they might find both characters so-so but will still pull for them if their kits make up for their shortfall; they might discover facts they didn't know before that will now influence their decision moving forward; they might realize the characters aren't fun to play after all because of their mechanics suck; etc.
People watch these kinds of videos AFTER they've already made their choice because they need to validate whether their decision was right or whether they ought to reconsider. Telling me I'm welcome as if you did me a favor is just presumptuousness. Stop with the "if you like that character, then pull; don't listen to anyone who says you're wrong to make that choice." That's such a Captain Obvious thing to do.

another thing people are forgetting is that changli is a sword user and the standard sword is really good on her, while jihnsi uses a great sword and both the standard and battle pass great swords suck on her, so you are kind of forced to pull on her weapon

1.2 leaks might, MIGHT sway me off Changli (god knows I don't need more characters to build atm) but so far I'm 100% getting and trying to R5 her weapon it's too good lol (I've heard they're changing it though again sadge)
Just for the record, so that f2p don't brick their accounts.... This guy is dead wrong, he doesn't know what he's talking about at all. It was kinda obviously suspicious before, but Jinhsi's S2 DOES NOT regenerate incandesence stacks just by swapping out of her, so it is not an incredibly broken sequence, like it was hyped up to be here. YOU DON'T NEED TO PULL FOR IT, pull for her weapon first, and then maybe S1, if you really really like her (no need for S1 either, but it's nice).

That website had all kinds of wrong information, even though it was the only website with ANY information on them, I still shouldn't have used it.
I tried Jinhsi and honestly, her playstile is a bit boring for me. So I've decided to just wait and gather pulls for Changli and her weapon hopefully. So your advice really helped me out brother, Yinlin with her sig proved to be higher value than Jinhsi whose playstyle I don't really like :((

@@CashySwanson I've realized quick swap is more fun than blowing your load once and having a limp uh claymore until ult is up again. Built her up, had great artifacts and a 5* weapon but never used her in any challenge/event/abyss.

A lot of people think Taoqi will be her best team mate. Maybe at S2+, but at S0 you need team mates that hit a lot like Yinlin or Mortefi to get stacks. You need 2min if you have the same dmg type team mates. Different dmg types get you faster stacks
@@andrzejat6163 can run spectro rover / Sanhua or etc good hot swappy characters and every second swap and hit and it charges even faster as well, without NEEDING Mortefi or yinlin.
Taoqi IS her best teammate if you can get her outro up, if not Yinlin / Jianxin with the ult damage isn't bad either
@@CashySwanson on paper Taoqi is her best. You need stacks!!! How you generate them? Do you want to main Taoqi or Jinhsi? Most of the time you will be on Taoqi to get her Outro and it’s not enough to get 40+ stacks. All the people with S0 Jinhsi will have a better time playing her with for example Verina and Yinlin. Shorter and smoother rotation. Or Jianxin and Mortefi. „When characters with Eras in Unity deal Damage with an attribute, Jinhsi gains 1 Incandescence. Damage of the same attribute can provide up to 1 Incandescence every 3s“ their is no cap per second for Incandescence with a different attribute. Yinlin does a lot of hits, so you gain extremely fast Incandescence.

@@andrzejat6163 Toaqi at s5 gets alot of concerto energy. At s5, and with Discord weapon giving concerto, she can actually become a quickswap buffer/sustain hybrid. However you are mostly correct that at an s0 Taoqi without Discord, she is extremely clunky and slow to play.
@@Qdawwg sorry for my bad english. I don’t talk about S0 Taoqi. I talk about S0 Jinhsi and her Incandescence stack and how you get them. Even if you have S5 Taoqi and faster rotation with her, she can’t get the Incandescence stacks fast enough for Jinhsi.

Just the same old doomposting tf out of every carry while overhyping sub-dps/supports. People don't understand that main DPS units BUILD the meta, WHEN they come out. Jiyan has been at the very top of the game all this time, yet people doompost him, because he will be powercrept sooner than utility based units. So what? Dps are supposed to be very good when they come out, and that's a very legitimate reason to pull them (also, Jiyan is here to stay for a while, his grouping is currently the best in the game + Mortefi at S4 is this game's Xiangling, and his BiS support, AND, his banner had GOOD 4stars instead of shitty ones).
So much hype for Yinlin, but nobody mentions how atrotious her banner is, and how she currently doesn't have any synergy with any top dps (yes, I mean to say that Calcharo massively fell off, shouldn't be a hot take). Encore's quickswap team with Yinlin will soon be replacing Yinlin with Changli, and even with Jinshi, Yinlin is only her best sub-dps right now, because of the lack of units with coordinated attacks. Thank god yinlin's banner is gone, so that f2p don't brick their accounts anymore, wasting potentially 160 wishes just for a copy of a sub-dps who's place in the meta is incredibly awkward, and getting tons of copies of literally the worst 4 stars in the process.
EDIT: Yinlin is not even Jinhsi's best sub-dps according to newest theorycrafting from the Jinshi mains discord, RIP

Having sub dps that buff electro dmg is investment for every single upcoming electro meta dps they release.
So will be chang for fusion.
Sub dps buffer for element > dps meta that will be powercrept.
Everything else is not even worth to react to.
Wym Yinlin literally has synergy with every dps in the game. And she will get even better synergy with future units tied specifically to her. I didnt pull her btw but I can still recognice her insane value, also if you combine her weapon with her passives, she gets 64 crit rate for free, before any rolls which is insane. That means if you get 9% crit on only 4 of your echoes, and you are at 100% crit rate, and that's while using a cdmg echo. Meaning 100/270-280 is an achievable endgame build even for f2p which is crazy. She only feels bad now bc people are using her as a hypercarry while they wait for a main dps to release, and because people dont have endgame builds yet
You underestimate Yinlin too much, she is the best sub dps in the game rn and it will stay in the meta longer than most of the main dps, mainly that her liberation and electro damage deepen is too valuable for future characters, imagine if they will release a stupidly broken electro dps in the future and yinlin is her partner. Thats only the first reason why, the second is her off field abilities, the coordinated attack is great, versatile and can be paired with anyone in the game, her dps capabilities are also good with her cr signature, aoe is insane and damage is decent
If you are pulling a stupidly op electro character they will release in the future, not having yinlin as her sub is a bad decision, and it can be any characters too that mainly uses their liberation or needs off field
Also you can literally make use of yinlin's dps capabilties and use her as hypercarry, and the gap won't be that large compared to the main dps like jiyan, jinhsi, calcharo. Overall sub-dps are versatile and you can play them whatever you want and still is good. Yinlin can be hypercarry, sub-dps, support and still comes out great. I do agree her banner 4 stars are a bit lackluster tho, it sucks for me
@@SAINT_SPYRO You didn't undertand what I said. Yinlin will buff every electro DPS in the future, yes, but that's exactly the problem. "In the future". Calcharo is mid, and Yuanwu deals even less damage. You know what else happens in the future? Yinlin's rerun banner, you knuckle-dragger. So my point is: Yinlin was not really worth pulling RIGHT NOW, on her horrible banner, and the meta being far removed from electro DPS units.

@@Godsthetics however, now that I'm not at work now, I can explain that YES with a better rotation hygiene the time gets cut in half but it's still 40-60 sec ish per rotate which is still the slowest in the game by like... 30-50 seconds...
Regardless, jinshi S2 is a massive boost.

@@CashySwanson I’m not sure because UA-cam has changed a lot, I know there used to be a hidden or flagged comments section that you could access from the yt studio. Plus there could be extenuating circumstances in this case who knows if he actually commented or if it was bad service or what.
