- I MADE A NEW VERSION OF THIS VIDEO WITH BETTER AUDIO AND HOW TO CLONE IN PERSPECTIVE. • Photoshop's Vanishing ...
How to use vanishing point in adobe Photoshop CC to replace a picture in Perspective. If you want to put a picture or item in an image but it needs to be in perspective, Vanishing Point is what you are looking for. You will need to draw a two dimensional grids so photoshop can understand the perspective of you image. Then you can copy paste and your image will be ready to transform in perspective.

Thanks! This was a lot easier to understand than trying to read how to do it in the Photoshop manual!
This really helped, short and to the point. I've seen a few videos on vanishing point but they've been unnecessarily complicated and too much chat. This was a good example to use. You have a new sub. Thank you
Glad to hear it!
Concise yet Clear AWESOME Tutorial
Thank you sooooooooooo much
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I was trying to use the one on adobe’s site, but I couldn’t get the image to paste to place it into the vanishing point frame.
Cheers for this John. I was having trouble using it...but not no more :^)
Thank you so much for the tutorial, the result is way much cleaner than with the perspective warp tool !
Yes, it needs to be updated.
thanks a lot it was very helpful
Thanks. It was very helpful.
just what i needed thanks !
EYLON glad it was helpful
Thank you!
Thank you so much 😊
Wow nice 😲
distort will do, wished to see more complex one.
thank you
Please sir reply I am not getting vanishing point filter in my filter menu. Please solve my problem how to get that filter on my filter menu and use this filter. I can't update the Photoshop because it is crack file please help.
Make sure you are in. 8bit not 16. And have selected the image layer
Isn't it much faster and efficient to simply place the picture over the wall and use control-C to move the four corners to their correct location? Why complicate matters????
Sure you can do that and certain situations that would work great. However there are times when using vanishing point is the best option. It seems cumbersome at first but once you get the hang of it, it one takes a minute or so longer. The tutorials are just to show you how to use the options. I rarely use vanishing point.
sometimes you want to put a picture on something with more than one suface for example a corner of a chamber or stairs . then you have to use vanishing point
@@mohammadadelnia4720 - You're right !
you're missing the lightstreak coming from the skylight. it is there in the first pic, not in the replacement. its an easy fix
Perfect
thank you mister 🤍
Does vanishing point work for round surfaces like a basketball
It depends what are you trying to do?
@@Jcwphoto I have image of a kid holding a basketball for a 13th birthday that I want to place the number 13 on the basketball
Kieone Young Photography you want to use a displacement map for that. ua-cam.com/video/lm3sMo2nz9U/v-deo.html
Once my convulsions subsided following the into, I found the tutorial to be quite good.
Thank You
You're welcome
how can i do that with a text
Same way just copy and paste a text layer.
thanks
You're welcome!
tried pasting so many times... why mine doesn't work
it is really hard to save. Make sure when you copy the image your are on an image layer not an adjustment layer.
CTRL V NOT WORKING IN THIS
It does work but it is hard to tell what you are doing wrong without seeing it. Make sure you are copying the images layer not an adjustment layer.
i have no "vanishing point" option in filters
Change your image to 8bit
@@Jcwphoto it is already set to 8 bit :/
It is hard to tell without seeing things. Do you have the image layer selected. Make sure you don’t have an adjustment layer selected
Try RGB instead CMYK
Sir my vanishing point is not applyable i dont know why there is a option vanishing but it is unable to be used how can i solve this??.
Either you are in 16 bit and vanishing point only works in 8 bit or or you are not on a image layer photoshop.
@@Jcwphoto Now i have the i have rastrized and even after that vanishing point is not applyable.
@@Jcwphoto and i have tried on both 16 bit and 8 bit but still is not working.
It is hard to tell without seeing the screen. I wish you could paste screenshots.
@@Jcwphoto can you share your whats app nmbr or +923117990490 can you please text me.
Would have been funny if he ended the video with "and now for the big reveal! This apartment photograph is actually a CG render. Though it looks like a photo of a real place, it's not. I snuck that one in there just for shock value."
Vanishing point isn't a good option for mockups.
They really need to update it. It hasn't been touched in years.
