    Your videos are awesome and very informative from a bat making perspective. Suggestion: you could use time lapse to make it shorter and even more interesting to watch! All the best.

    i love wayching your video's Joal.the only problem is why dont you wear a mask when sanding. for the amount you do you should.it could get you later in life. cheers keep up the great work

  • @sushmakohli7737

    only one problem is their that the bat has a semi circled toe

    • @JPGavanCricket
      @JPGavanCricket  7 років тому +8

      No problem - I can make it more squared for you. The reason I like a rounded toe is that it reduces any chance of the toe breaking.

    • @lukehickman2319
      @lukehickman2319 7 років тому +2

      Sushma Kohli "square" pro toes are useless... the inside bottom edge is destroyed so quickly and both edges are easily broken a round toes extends the life of the bat without losing ANY performance at all....

    not good !! still you have a lot to learn.. fantail cricket is far better than you !! the toe of the bat is too thick and near the handle it's too thin, thus there is a chance that the bat may break if the bowl hits on the sticker portion near the handle.. 😑😑

  • @OverTheTop77

    That is one ugly looking bat. Weird shape with exaggerated semi-circle toe. Bottom half of the bat will surely be weak with that extended thin duckbill toe.

    • @JPGavanCricket
      @JPGavanCricket  7 років тому

      The willow is grown in England but I purchase it through India so I can get them handled and pressed as well as not have to order several hundreds at a time.
