Nothing more annoying then hearing the rich, privileged, or just well off people. Complaining on behalf of someone else, who didn't ask them to, in a situation that has nothing to do with them. They would rather see those people suffer. And complain that no one is doing anything. Then see someone actually do something. If it's not the "right person" they have envisioned in their minds. It's like all those times people get offended on behalf of someone else's culture. While the people who actually have that culture, don't care. Or appreciate it. If we gonna talk about savior complexes. We should start with all these people inserting themselves. On behalf of others. Who ain't asking for it.

What's amazing is that his efforts provided about 500,000 people with clean drinking water. Had those people not gotten access to clean drinking water, about 105 of those 500,000 would be dead each year by water borne diseases. Compound that with the fact that these communities no longer have to spend all this time gathering "cleaner" water often travelling over treacherous land, their lives are now radically improved because of this in so many ways.
I love what mr beast is doing. I have always wondered why we dont have any well known black philanthropists tho, correct me if im wrong. I would like to know at least one that is like Mr. Beast.

The thing is, it was Africans who did all the work. He brought the money. So i dont understand the White Savior shit. He didnt go there with a team of workers and machinery. @josiahjones7066 how is that being a hater? Being objective is the most smart thing you can do. More than one truth can exist at the same time. He helps people but he's also shady individual. Simple as.
Humans in need got clean water, a new, safer bridge, updated education equipment, new bikes for all the kids in a village, and so on. Jimmy (mr. Beast) wouldn't have felt compelled to do this if the African governments did their job to take care of their people. Even if it IS performative, PEOPLE ARE STILL BETTER OFF after the fact. Also, where is the outrage for documentarians who literally JUST film these types of people and their struggles without contributing anything positive to their communities? Those people profit off of the hardships of others for "art" and "awareness". Jimmy actually helped.
He needs to have views so that he can earn more money, as he will put everything back into this project and help more people. He said that at the end of the video.
That's 500,000 people that have water now. I don't give a flying fuck if he did make a profit off of it. That's 500,000 people that will live longer, healthier, and happier lives with more freedom and leisure now that they don't have to travel so far for water. Less accidents on the journeys, no wild animal attacks, more sanitation ability. Not to mention, they can grow their own crops now and will rely less on hand outs. America alone has probably given a trillion dollars to Africa (if not more) over the last 50 years. With all that money, they should at least be able to drink water. The haters can screw off.
To think that most of those people complaining have water within arms reach as they tweet about this smh. But at the end of the day the only people whose opinion on this matters is the people he's helping, their lives are changed and that's what's important
Those people are the Britta Perry type of activist. They mainly protest to be a rebel and want attention from others and they just want something to complain about.
Every one of those people complaining about MrBeast helping around the world have probably never even helped their next door neighbour in any capacity. When you like to feel morally superior to the rest of the world I guess you got to tear down those that make you realise you aren't and it sucks that the people who would benefit from the generosity should suffer so the complainers can feel better about themselves.
You said it. People are miserable. For alot of black people, it's not about truly helping it's about looking good and making the Black community look better then they actually are.
This is why I rather donate time and money to third world countries especially , in Africa because at least those people appreciate good deed people in America too privilege.
I don't watch Mr Beasts content. Doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I do have to say though, that this guy knew ahead of time that what he was doing was going to cause issues for him, yet he did it anyways. He put children front and center in the videos to garner more attention to the cause, knowing he was going to get lit up over it. This really was an altruistic thing for him. He knew he was going to take flack from people, did it anyways and every dime he makes from those videos goes right back into making more wells. Whole lot of people caught up on things they shouldn't be.
Seriously though, how long have we been seeing the adverts from companies like Oxfam that ask the general public for money to help these Africans and we're still getting the adverts to this day. In my 37 years of life, not a single year has gone by around Christmas, where these "charities" are asking for the money but it never seems to be enough (because the "charities" are pocketing most of the money). In all honesty though, I bet that most of the complaints were from people who think that they're not racist in the slightest but are "freeing the world of it", yet they're the worst perpetrators of what they're trying to stand against. In addition to that, how many rich black people have tried to share they're wealth with developing countries like Mr Beast has and don't you dare tell me that "the patriarchy doesn't allow blacks to be rich". You have Jay Z, Puff Daddy, Beyonce, Lil Kim, Cardi B (all of whom spit shit about how hard it is to be black and that they don't get help when things get tough), Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Operah, Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman and a multitude of American footballers, NBA players who are also very rich too and they're not helping these people in Africa on a scale as large as Mr Beast and they're even richer than Mr Beast. So it's not a "white saviour" thing in the slightest, it's a "I want to solve these issues now because we're too far developed to be having these issues anymore" Sorry for the rant but I have been growing increasingly sick of this bs from the hypercritical people for a very long time.

he did good. but let's not forget someone put those schools and hospitals there. France buying uranium from Niger at 8c when it is worth $200.
People complaining from this are evil af
Let me find out Mrbeast out here giving mf’s clean water😡
How can we expect racism to end when these people saying WHITE man helps BLACK communities etc. Just say ''MAN'' and ''AFRICAN'' or just ''COMMUNITIES''. We all expect racism to end when the first word in these stories is always the colour
People are just evil. This man is using the money he’s making from the videos to continually help people. He gets the fame, money and whatever he wants for the price of people getting PERMANENT SOLUTIONS TO THEIR PROBLEMS. It’s a win win.
mfs will hate on anything
I don't know much about Mr. Beast but, when I hear about him he is usually helping people followed by haters on the Internet.
No good deed goes unpunished.
I'm so glad you ranted the way you did because I was feeling the same damn way you were when learning about all this. Thanks for saying what you said about everything Dee!
The people complaining about Mr. Beast are the same people who probably have never even given a damn dollar to someone homeless in their own town.
Gotta understand why they are actually hating.
They don't have a problem with him helping others.
They have a problem with Mr. Beast not helping THEM.
Boom! Bingo
Idiotic of you.
@@kenthalasAT They believe not being millionaires means they need help. Too many people want to be the main character of everything these days
First it was blind ppl, now it's Africa 😂
I think it’s a good thing he is helping build wells I mean most companies wouldn’t do that for ppl I mean hello look at the homeless crisis in America
Because they are the ones who should help their own people in the first place, but now their mask are falling out of their face. Now everyone can see that they never help their own people even if they have money to do it.
Preachhh!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great point!
I agree with you dee 100%
also mr.beast DONT NEED TO DO THIS.. all bro has to do is those wild stupid vids and get a billion views the dude is so huge, he doesnt need to give anything to ANYONE.. a kid watching mr.beast wont care
Exactly!! His squid games video alone did numbers he doesn’t have to give anyone anything and he’ll still be making money like crazy. He’s creative and people like his videos regardless of what he is doing so why not post positive things for kids watching him to see. Y’all don’t care about your daughters watching baddies but bash this man for recording something so wholesome for your child’s entertainment.
Are you Igbo?
You smart af Dee everything you preached at the end was 100 💯
Dude could cure cancer and people would still find something to bitch about. Shit like that makes me lose a little faith in humanity tbh.
"It's performative-"
*Well, boy can perform around me all he wants* 😂
they hated on jesus, what u expect smh
I don't care if Mr. Beast wakes up every morning in a full fucking super villain costume talking about how he used these poor kids for likes and clicks and money. Thousands of babies now have a life made a lil easier.
This world is so f*cking backwards💯🤦🏾♂️
European and American blacks and whites need to come to the parliament and stand against this corruption in Africa between rich frauds and poor people ,it is crazy how huge that gap is, we need to fight for basic human rights, clean water and medical is basic right in the west! One love unity and peace! God bless
People on Twitter are the most miserable
Edit:This goes to show you that you can do anything, even when it is good. And u would still get hate.
It’s a damned if you do and damned if you don’t type of scenario because at the end of the day, there’s always going to be something that someone can cry and rage over.
To be fair There are rich places in Africa, Why don't you get mad at them for not helping?
What's amazing is that his efforts provided about 500,000 people with clean drinking water. Had those people not gotten access to clean drinking water, about 105 of those 500,000 would be dead each year by water borne diseases. Compound that with the fact that these communities no longer have to spend all this time gathering "cleaner" water often travelling over treacherous land, their lives are now radically improved because of this in so many ways.
Agree Dee
Mf's wanna complain instead of donating to the cause
0:24 I’m actually eating oatmeal right now NOT Cheetos thank you very much MA’AM 💅🏼🤣
I love what mr beast is doing. I have always wondered why we dont have any well known black philanthropists tho, correct me if im wrong. I would like to know at least one that is like Mr. Beast.
They busy buying chains & cars to impress other rich people. A rich African will make sure he's known & spend his money in Dubai,New york for attention it's a sick disease they have you can even see it with all this new afrobeat singers.
Oprah is one of the biggest black philanthropists and she built multiple schools in africa. Though she also does have shady stuff about her (like buying up most of Hawaii so natives can't live there), she has done good.
I don’t mind him helping but charity starts at home! Blk people living here that can’t even make it home alive to their families.
BEST THING SAID IN 2023 ELON MUSK "What I care about is the reality of goodness, not the perception of it. And what I see all over the place is people who care about looking good while doing evil. Fuck them," .
I'm here for this... it doesn't matter who does it .. he is making generational changes for these young kids ... it's goes further than just the "now" ..
I will never understand those who try to shame Mr Beast and those of the like who help communities such as this. Sure, he monetized the video, but how else would he get the money to fund the wells and other philanthropic acts? Let's not mention the brand deals, sponsorships and other ways he generates income. For those who have negative views for his "white savior" complex, let's see them try to do the same thing as him.
When they showed where some of their water comes from. Boy if made me feel awful. Like Dirt Brown. Man I am glad Mr Beast did what he did. F the optics.
AS SOMEONE WHO WAS EATING HOT CHEETOS WATCHING THIS CHILL OUT LMFAOOOO. MrBeast did something amazing folks just wanna hate to hate
Real quick…….your tee shirt is freaking on point 🇺🇸🤔. And also when I first watched that video of beast and wells, the only thing that popped in my head was why does a UA-camr have to do that! Imagine what a country could do if they really got behind it🤷♂️
Preach was really preaching cause Whaa??
I have that same shirt ("NAH") as a hoodie. I get so many compliments.
Bro idc if he doing it for clout. At the end of the day he's helping millions of people. Go hate on the ppl that do fucked up pranks or sdfu
Thank you Dee for your reaction and to me it is sad today that we demonize someone helping someone else.
Homeboy in the video is high as shit 😩😂😭
After not watching Philip DeFranco for like 6 years it's weird to hear him say stuff like "f*ck that guy" 😂
The simple concept of the fact the shit he does is all funded by the camera is so hard for people to understand. Idk how… but it’s wild that everyone complaining about him filming it are obviously not wise in the head.
Simple yet there are people out there that don't understand this. It's nuts.
I'm so thankful that there are still people with common sense in a good heart🙏🍀🙏
Of course mr beast is still a content creator he has to make money to spend money helping people.
Yall become so blind to realize that he has to get the content to make money for helping others. He literally said all Adsense from the video is going back to building more wells whats the complaint about tho Im confused
The switch up in this UA-camr since OF is insane
They want the money from Mr. Beast.. but since Mr beast directly install it himself and his team, he didnt give a chance to take the money by some troll politicians😅 that’s why they are angry of it. And i love the idea that he did it himself instead of giving the fund to the politicians.
That lady probably prayed for the water to get fixed and now she saying what about my efforts instead of trying to team up
“Nah” -Rosa Parks
“Nah, I’d win” -Fraudjo
The thing is, it was Africans who did all the work. He brought the money. So i dont understand the White Savior shit. He didnt go there with a team of workers and machinery. He just showed us that Africa can be changed. Its just the money thats missing. He just showed up how easy this would be to change, these villages arent hurting because they are dumb or something. Its because they dont have the resources for change.
I agree with you! At the end of the day generations of people will be positively affected by this act of kindness, regardless of intent the impact is positively good for lack of better descriptive words!
Your shirt has me dying 😂😂😂
Of course he’s using it for content, that said content is gonna pay for the next people hes gonna help.
Jimmy is also one of the nicest people you’ll meet to a lot of people who have met him would agree with me
And if those children passed they would say and no one is helping kmft can’t win!!!
That man is giving these people something permanent, most important and sustainable than what even most billionaires have given in this lifetime. Whoever says otherwise should go to hell.
When did being kind become a problem in this world? People are just bitter that it made them look bad
This obsession with race is blocking blessings for those in need
a certain demographic needs to hear this, badly
Lol obsession with race? Not well put but understood 😅
the hilarious part is i think he fixed the water issue for them over there and america, our own damn government and people. still haven't fixed the water in flint michigan. i think people need to shut up about this. mr beast seems like a good person. he fixed an issue no government, not even america... tends to fix.
Everyone: AFRICA NEEDS HELP! why don't someone help them
Mr. Beast : *builds wells and changes lives of entire populations*
Everyone: NOOOOOO ! That's not the help we wanted !!!
Did they ever stop to think ..... maybe it ain't about you ...
It's not a stereotype if it's true ,
Water is a big issue is some part of Africa especially during the dry season when the dry season
The same ppl that complains on twitter abt classism are the same ones who’s making 6 figures and walking past a homeless person pretending they don’t exist. I fvckin hate the internet lol
NGOs usually pay of all those people doing it more than 20% of all donations. Mr beast did it and got out . He gave them presents that actually benefit people
How many levels of inception in this reaction 😅
as a ugandan thanks to mr beast.......he is the goat
🇺🇬💪🏿
I know he helps people and there’s plenty of wealthy people that haven’t done anything good with the riches that they have, that I’m much more mad at, but I’ve also heard some shady things about him
What shady things 🤔
Wow. Still gonna be haters. Do I see u doing what mrbeast is doing?
@josiahjones7066 how is that being a hater? Being objective is the most smart thing you can do. More than one truth can exist at the same time. He helps people but he's also shady individual. Simple as.
Stop capping bruh🤦🏿♂️
Everybody has shady things about them, his actions are just dramatized by people because of his fame.
Maybe this will inspire other wealthy and not-so-wealthy people to do stuff like this or donate to it.
You didn't save my life, you ruined my death.
(Some random dude from the Incredibles.)
As a White dude, "White Saviour" would be a badge of honour! Imagine hearing that phrase and focusing on the "White" part lmao
BARS BARS BARS
Then we have Oprah who’s a billionaire & j z & beonze who are billionaires & what have they done ?????
Mr beast is a king imo…..
Love your honesty miss 😂
I just don’t understand some people. They blame one group of people for all the problems then call them names for helping. What do they want?
Crying about a white savior while praying to white Jesus is actually hilarious.
nobody believes Jesus is white but sure
😂😂😂
I’m was eating hot Cheetos on my mamas couch and using her wifi as u said it but I’m 17 😂
Love Aba and Preach take on this.....
I don't see anyone else getting off their black asses and digging Wells and showing Love.
So it's not a "white saviour" thing in the slightest, it's a "I want to solve these issues now because we're too far developed to be having these issues anymore"
Sorry for the rant but I have been growing increasingly sick of this bs from the hypercritical people for a very long time.
