I never knew what my niche is, and since I had a history in both art and writing - amateurish of course, I kept taking more than I could chew. More so since I started working as a freelancer in 2018. I have been watching copywriting content for a month when i started to learn copywriting and far now your content has been the most helpful one. But particularly this video is i would say, one of the most important videos to understand what are you gonna do in your copywriting career and how can you help any business you are working with as a copywriting expert.. Although you made this video with an intention of explaining different ways to earn through copywriting but i feel like it should have been labelled as the comprehensive guide for beginners who want to understand the scope of copywriting. I would suggest to remake the video with some new additions to these and i am sure you people will be alot more thankful to you. But thats just a suggestion, my question is that in the last part where you have told three ways to offer marketing support, you said there are plenty of other ways, can you explain which others ways you are referring to?? Basically i am laying out my skillset which i would be offering to my clients so this would be very beneficial for me. Thank you for the amazing content. Keep smiling and stay blessed.

when you say “today, anyone who hires through my agency, they get copy and consulting” i’m confused on what the “copy” is. everyone says copy this and how they study “copy” but i have no idea what it is? i’m so sorry if this is a dumb question
Not a dumb question at all! Copy means a piece of writing with the purpose of conversion. So a copywriter is someone who write copy for the purpose of converting readers into a lead, a sale or a client (for example.)

I’m confused about sales pages… I don’t really see many sales pages and I work in marketing. Where are these used the most?? are there certain industries that use them more?? I’ve received sales letters from my car dealer, is that we’re talking about? I suppose I did design and write a sheet for a client with a specific product. However I still don’t see this format used a lot, so are there specific industries that use these more than others?? If this is the big money maker, who is buying these??

I worked in a company as a product description writer for six years, and quit to start freelancing. Is it wiser to just offer this one service I have most experience in, or position myself as an ecommerce copywriter and offer additional services?
That's up to you! I think you have a huge advantage with your experience and could really play it up. With that said - there's no reason to narrow yourself down to just that offer. If you want to branch out then go for it!

What if your dream industry includes a lot of brands that have.....no branding. Are they even good prospects? It seems like you'd have to sell them on branding and then on copywriting.

You can find them literally EVERYWHERE! If you want a big library you can search for swipe file websites.
