This is why I love Korone. She doesn't need to chase trends to have fun. She'll dig up the most niche game you've never heard of and make her own fun, and as a viewer, you WILL have fun watching her. Man I Love Korone ❤
She's the only JP mem I regularly tune into. I don't understand Japanese so I can't really appreciate JP streams but korone is so fun, her energy is enough even if idk what she's saying.
So I genuinely dont know about this???? What happened? 😅 Sorry im not even yhat new im just completely outta touch w thr jp side of things at all times 😭💙
Something I love about Korone is that when she finds something she likes or that makes her laugh she will unashamedly go all-in on it. It reminds me of the Perman song that she always sings, they become Korone classics
Imagine being SEGA and the game devs, must be so confused back then why their game and the song got popular so suddenly... Now they finally realized what happened xD
Actually it had a boom before, the lyrics and game really resonated as the image of the NEET lifestyle back when it was a big concern. Basically loafing around all day then “partying” through the night (pictured as online gaming, zero social life)
I cant thank doggo enough for introducing me to a lot of old hidden gems like this. Now, whenever i listen to this song, i just start hyping up to it lol
I often wonder what exactly it was that made Sega latch onto Korone so hard. Everyone assumes it was her Sonic playthroughs but I think it was just her love for Sega as a whole.
Hoo wow!!! I don’t follow Korone much (language barrier) but it must be great for the artist that something that seemed to be a small song, that was a relatively minor part of a game, inspired someone else that much…. Really love her as a performance artist!!!
Most people: Selecting the most popular and viral-TikTok songs to cover to pull in as much audience as they can. Korone: Selecting the most obscure and weird song from some random old-ass game because it made her laugh. What a precious doggo.🥰

I watched the original stream while staying up late in the night. New roomania(? idk the english name) was a pretty weird game where you only influence the characters decisions in their daily life by throwing balls to items they want to focus as some kind of god. Kinda like the sims but weirder and with a story. So you follow characters from the game's life story, the decisions affect a lot of outcome and it can get dark sometimes. i remember watching her archive very clearly, its probably the most niche sega game lol and then she did the cover and everyone went 👈😲😄😆 some people might not know, but for a year, she kept humming it every now and again and confused newcomers
Oh my god. I remember when Korone dropped a cover of this, and I didn’t know it was actually a song from a niche game. 😂 I thought it is from popular series.
Sonikoro had Korone perform SEGA themes such as Sonic Heroes City Escape Reach the Stars Burning Angels Burning Hearts Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan and others... With backing from the SEGA live band (Ohtani, Senoue etc) and special guest Mitsuyoshi
@@timepatroltrunks8276 Oh! She performed "Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan"?! That's literally my #1 favorite karaoke song. I haven't checked out Sonikoro because tickets are a little on the pricy side, but I just might have to break the bank, knowing that she performed all these Sega classics!

Make sense why I found it familiar
I will never not hear a perfectly cut "NOOOOO!"
the legend himself, i wonder where he is now
Leave it to korone to bring out the most absurd, random, unpopular, or far forgotten songs to the crowd in an astonishing performance
it reminds me of old classic idol songs, i actually kind of love it
I mean, it's all of those, but it's also very catchy and happy, full of energy like herself.
Sega marketing: "We need publicity for something"
Sega CEO: "Bring me the doggo!"
Cry havok and let slip the DOOG of war!
Seriously, she is making great publicity for Sega.
Now an ambassador of Sega...how incredible this dog is..
She's worked hard to get to this point. And it seems like she's still growing in popularity over in Japan and globally.
Korone: the master of “If I’m happy then I’m gonna make you happier”
I love when the dog is schmoovin

Korone is doggo.
She's just a silly little dog out here trying to make herself laugh, knowing damn well she's got the most contagious laugh in Hololive.

All the Hololive doggos are funny but Korone is most funniest doggo

That clip in the beginning brings me back to the time when i first discovered Korone years ago, man it’s so nostalgic.
