Greatest hitter of all time!!! First round hall of fame!!!! #24. Tiger fans thank you for sticking around🙏
One of the best hitters ever
And it aint even close
The best hitter ever! Just imagine if he never got hurt damn less strike outs and more doubles and homers think about it
No doubt about it
💯
If the dude played in a different stadium than comerica... easily 600+ homers... easily
Shoot I think if they brought the center field wall in to 400 FT there would be so many more tigers HRs
I was at the game in the second clip with my dad when I was like 13. Incredible comeback
De Maracay PAL mundo.. un duro
Miguel Cabrera: Gente fina boa pessoa. Grande Estrela=Big Star. Um grande exemplo de ser humano.Torcendo sempre e sucesso sempre, com a benção de Deus. This is fantastic. From Brasil.
I am a die-hard Indians fan and I've got to say I'm going to be very sad when this dude retires
Well it happened today 😓😭
@@1michiganwolverinesfan216 my dude he will be back for the Pirates series on Tuesday 😂
@@1michiganwolverinesfan216 lol
This comment didn't age well
Watching him for a 10 year stretch was just unbelievable
I hope he gets 500 HRs soon, and 3000 hits
Hahaha
Miguel Cabrera made his Major League debut with a walk-off homer for the Marlins on June 20, 2003.
Entering the 2021 season, he needs 13 home runs for 500, and 134 hits for 3,000. He hopes he can reach both this season. In 18 years in MLB, so far, Cabrera has a .313 career batting average
Well he’s on the other end of a 10 day DL rn but will be back Tuesday for the series against Pittsburgh, now down to 12 HRs, and I think he will do it, the hits may be a bit harder but I hope he gets it
@@CRob172 been playing well recently, caught fire for a short span
@@alexbank4879 yeah I was at COPA for HR 496 and 497, now at 499, one away!
@@CRob172 Im following up, did you see 500 😭😭 that’s so fuckin cool man. I used to talk to him before games in Florida because I had marlins season tickets when they played at dolphin stadium and absolutely no one would show up to the games!! I’d get in my crappy seats and the ushers would let me move to sit front row on 3B line when the game started. Him and Dontrelle Willis were the coolest people of all time it was really sad when they left for Detroit
@@alexbank4879 that’s so dope, Miggy honestly is the nicest dude in baseball, and I didn’t see it till I got home because I was at work but listened to it at work, Dan Dickerson our radio announcer is the best in the league and him saying 500 is gonna be the sound bite of the year
Lo conocí por mi Madre. Que lo conocio cuando era joven. Vivian casi cerca
watching this after the ceremony yesterday
(oh, and i do miss the pre-angels matt vasgersian)
It just got announced today that Miggy was struggling with knee pains. He might not play after this 2022 season. If he does I will be very sad, he has been my favorite player for so long. Love you Miggy
Probably best hitter of all time
Probably not. I am a Miguel Cabrera fan, however, Ted Williams and Tony Gwynn come immediately to mind.
@@terrystrauss3564 Ted Williams for sure
Best RH hitter ever!
@@terrystrauss3564Tony didn’t have the power to all fields like Miguel tho. If Miguel’ just tried to hit singles and doubles his whole career his average would’ve been even higher but his power numbers wouldn’t be as impressive. And Ted Williams didn’t face modern pitching. Miguel is the overall better hitter.
ES UNA LEYENDA SIN DUDA PAPIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Una leyenda que abandona a su hija
alguien quien viene por la divaza ?

El Muchacho de la PELÍCULA
I hope he gets his 500th HR and 3000th hit next season.

🐐
#24 Hall of Fame.
First Ballot.
1:23 why does it say 9-8 white Sox?!
That's what I was wondering, they really messed that up lmfao
Made in VENEZUELA
i saw him
Bro imagine if Miggy played in a hitters ballpark instead of the worst ballpark for hitting 😂
Where is the Hit in the world series in 03!?! Clemens try to get cute 😆
The one from Venezuela, the one that does not play carts
Has anyone been unanimously elected to the Hall of Fame? 100% Vote?
Here is my thoughts on this...
1.) Rivera hung that one, it was a flat pitch with no movement. What'd you expect? I wouldn't call this a Great play, that was a horrible pitch and Rivera knew it.
2.) better movement but right down the middle. horrible pitch to a great hitter.
3.) Flat and down the middle. Slight movement form left to right. Miggy doesn't see pitches like this anymore.
4.) probably the best pitch here so far. Up and away movement, trying to paint a corner and Cabrera drilled it. The fact the announcer said that was coming in...well I'm hoping he meant in the strike zone because that was an outside pitch with movement.
5.) good lefty movement on the pitch. Nice arc, but I've got to ask who would ever throw a pitch close to the middle of the plate for Cabrera in his prime?
These are all great home runs on OK pitches. But these are not his highlights. I've see him hit a home run off of his shoes, he's stolen a base in an important game, I've seen him making a diving catch at both first and third...All I'm getting at is hitting a home run on bad pitches aren't great plays.
What makes his home run against Rivera great is the context. Playoffs in New York. An epic duel where he had to hit a ball off his leg twice to fight off Rivera. If Rivera only has to throw 3 or 4 pitches, this never happens. Sure, if it was during BP it’s no big deal. But it wasn’t. And if you were watching live, it’s one that you remember.

Ummm the white Sox did not win in
I just posted a Miggy video with original pics and vids. Please check it out!!
Miguel cabrera eres un mal padre, sin corazón como no importarte de tu hija sangre de tu sangre
is a homerun actually a "play"??? 🙄
Well yes! Its the whole point of the game.
It's a shame. He used to be so good but now he's so bad
Aston Boyd he’s just old he needs to retire once his contract is up
Injury plagued lower body plus a shitty team around him. Lookup his numbers with runners in scoring position last year still at the top of the league!
He’s actually not that bad. He still hits for a solid average, if not much power
He got in great shape in the off season and was tearing it up in spring training. Too bad he can’t prove he still has it now
Injuries and age catches up to everyone. He was still the most consistent player I've ever seen from 2004-2016, and his prime in '12-'13 is among the best for modern day hitters. His legacy is wrapped.
