Hello friends welcome to my channel, My name is Akash Prajapati, Today's topic is LH Test (Leutinizing Hormone Test).
The LH test is called an interstitial cell-stimulating hormone test. This test is done to detect the level of LH in the blood. LH is produced by the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is a small pea-sized gland in the brain. LH hormone plays an important role in sexual development, including the development of ovarian follicles in labial women and the development of leading cells in men. LH levels are high in newborns but levels decrease as puberty approaches (10-14 years of age). When the process of puberty begins or sexual changes occur in the body, luteinizing hormone combines with follicle-stimulating estrogen hormone (FSH) to produce testosterone in boys and estrogen in girls. In women, LH is surged from the brain to the ovaries and during menstruation to produce an adult egg. In men, glucose is produced by the testosterone hormone produced by LH.
LH is related to ovulation in women and ovulation in men, so this test is also helpful in detecting devices related to fertility. It also helps in detecting testicular alloreactivity.
LH test detects problems related to fertility. This is done in the following cases:
early or late onset of puberty
Impotence and lack of sex drive in men
Milk coming from the breasts of women who are not pregnant (Lactation)
irregular menstruation
difficulty conceiving.
