    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  4 роки тому +13

      The black square around any and all print then cut images are called "registration marks" and they are used so that the Cricut can scan them and know exactly where to cut. It's an incredibly smart machine!

    • @MakersGonnaLearn

      Because anything you draw will not be filled in, Cricut only writes and draws the outline of letters, which can look a bit unprofessional for lots of things. Thats why we love print then cut for thee types of things.

My cricut is cutting the exact shape like it's supposed however, it's not measuring correctly. It's cutting slightly off the edges and my images are getting cut off. Am I doing something wrong? I bought the cricut printable vinyl and would not even go through my printer. It's way too think. I can print thick cardstock on my printer but this does not work. It's also not waterproof so it's basically just a sticker that can not get wet. I was very disappointed with my purchase. How would you wash those jars? Great video tho!

      Barbra you can purchase Clear Labels (full sheets), cut ONLY the outlines of the shapes you Print and Cut on the sticker paper (I suggest making them slightly larger than the shapes) and then place the Clear Labels over the printer sticker paper. Viola! Waterproof!

I just got some printable vinyl, but have a dilemma: the image I want to do is black and want to put on white vinyl so the black silhouette of image stands out. I just found out the window I wanted to put on is tinted, so probably will not show though since the vinyl is so thick. Thought it was thinner. How can I make a car window decal that will show through??? Any ideas or suggestions?? Thank you.
