Once per month i search 'Nate Bargatze' to see if he got new comedy. Now he got his own podcast. Now i can rest. 👌🙏Love the podcast. Im From The Netherlands.
I love the podcast guys. Biscuit’s story about bombing in front of his mother at a livestock auction was gold. Nate, you have to bring your wife on the show so we can get her perspective and stories about what it’s like to live with you.
Nate, Brian, and Aaron, yall are a breath of fresh air. As a mom of two kiddos who just went back to school, some levity and break time is a must. And listening to you guys are great way to relax. There's definitely comedy but also some nuggets of genuine life advice. Love it. Thanks for showing up every week.
Y’all kill me every week. This week Nate kept saying ”in the mattress”. When Aaron asked do you think you really spent a third of your life sleeping and Brain said yeah, “on it, not in it” annoyed and all sarcastic like, it knocked me out.
Butter Bread was really holding back, I’ve never laughed so hard than after hearing about his bombing story. You guys are killing it. I remember the first episode I thought “wow there’s three people well this is gonna be bad I just wanna hear Nate talk” but now I couldn’t imagine a show without making fun of Broccoli and without Erins knowledge inputs. Keep em coming guys.. P.S. Nate: “I would never wanna hurt anybody’s feelings” Broth: “gets feelings hurt every 2 seconds through the 2 hour show” Hahah you guys are awesome
Shout out from a stenographer!! It was super exciting hearing my favorite people acknowledge this profession exists! We don’t get a whole lot of credit, but this was enough to get me through my felony day! Keep up the good work!
My grandmother was a secretary and she tried telling me about short hand writing. I remember her telling me that what she had learned was nothing compared to what stenographers could do. To me, it's always seemed like learning a foreign language that nobody speaks. So it works for your job only and you never get a chance to impress people by "speaking" in that language. It's an impressive thing that not enough people respect as impressive.
Liked seeing the acknowledgement of B-dawg’s credit due on the dead horse joke. The line “One of the healthier horses I’ve ever seen” made my mom laugh to tears. Still waiting on the Krispy Kreme eating contest...
Nothing makes me smile more than when Nate rambles on for an hour, then asks if he's rambling on, and Brunch says no, you're fine. Also, I was the person screaming in my car "JUPITER ASCENDING! EVENT HORIZON! THE WHITE HOUSE AND OLYMPUS BOTH HAVE FALLEN! THE REAL JUPITER IS FINE...I THINK!" Love you guys. Thanks for making me happy every week. Nate and Aaron's contradicting themselves: Nate: "I can't just pop in to a comedy club...but I can just pop on Fallon" and Aaron: "I'm not a genius, but I am the smartest man about most things," and then we have Best Buy soaking it all in with Wikipedia facts. I love this. thanks gents. Can't wait until everything is open and live again, I will travel down to Nashville or wherever to see you. Cheers guys.
I am listening to this in June 2023 for probably the 3rd time. I have been a faithful listener since early in the podcast. It is fun to listen to older podcasts and hear stories that get referenced again as years go by! You guys are the best!
1:29:00 Thanks for the advice Nate. I've been waiting days for a casting agency too get back to me about an audition tape I submitted last week. They'd asked me to try out for the part, which was 'Unbelievable!' to me. So I was really excited for the opportunity, and thought they should at least let me know if I didn't get it instead of ignoring me. It's feels like when a girl asks you out on a date but then ghosts you after. It can be 'BRUTAL!' but you got to take the hint - it's a no, though you wouldn't know anything about that - "You know when you go out on your first date with a girl ever and then marry her..." - What's that like?! Thanks for the episode, really helped take my mind off it and cheered me up. You're doing the lords work, see you on the other side.
damn episode 11 and the boys have 2 ads. I'm telling you in a couple episode we'll have a " we're moving to texas cause spotify gave us 100 bazillion dollars" 30 seconds video
Nate reading the first ad felt like it would spiral down a helix, but he pulled through. Cool hearing the Dead Horse origin story. I didn't realize that Brimley was the one with Nate on the trip to Mt. Ranier.
Nate is one of my top three funniest comedians of all time, but somehow Bubble machine is the definite comic relief in this podcast. I have laughed harder at his stories and/or the jokes at his expense than anything else in the show. Keep up the great work. You guys are phenomenal!
That moment just before Nate tried to pronounce “Jeppe” where he hesitates May have been the funniest thing I’ve heard since listening to this podcast.
This episode accomplished something I didn't think possible, You can have a southern accent, AND, say something intelligent. Nate really drops some knowledge here. Love the cast. You are good dudes.
This has been awesome, especially getting to hear about stand up from different points in careers, which you don’t hear often. I really enjoyed hearing Buttermilk and Aaron get to talk about their experiences. Looking forward to the Chicago suburbs drive-in show!
Hey y'all, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the quality comedy and for giving me something real good and funny to listen to after a long deployment to the middle east. Thanks Nate for serving the troops on your USO tours, it means more than you know to us. God Bless.
I love this podcast and for the first time Nate actually made a lot of sense just kidding lol. Seriously tho there's some great life advice starting at the 55:37 mark, he's referencing stand up comedy but I feel like what he's talking about can be for any career related topic or whatever passion you want to achieve in life
Nates rant today had me wanting to run through a brick wall, great advice for anyone to better themselves. Love the Podcast a lot, Bon-Bon and Aaron are amazing and can’t wait to see them both grow like you. Huge fan of comedy and I think one of the best shows I’ve ever seen was when I saw Tom Segura last year and I could tell he was working on newer material and it gave me further appreciation for the art of Stand Up! Love ya guys keep it up!
I feel like we get to hear Bacon bombing just a little bit every week!! Just kidding...love you Bacon Bites. Bacon and Aaron (like the grill) are the perfect complements to Nate and the three of y’all together make the podcast amazing. Please do more shows a week... it’s not like y’all have anything else to do. Love you guys. Matt from Memphis.
Loved Bumpercars response "alright" after Nates 20 minute rant on how to get on the tonight show, then immediately followed by "What type of comic you like and respect? No names". Nate " Chapelle, Burr". Laughed out loud this podcast is to much. Keep it up!! Also shout out to Aaron, funny guy.
To the guy that asked about good bookers vs bad bookers, Nate having his openers close out segments on coolest show business stories is an example of a bad booker. Love the show! Keep it up!
Love hearing about how the world of Stand-Up Comedy works. Crashing was one of my favorite shows and I love how many real life comedians were in it! Saw Nate way back on Late Night with Fallon and have followed him since. Got tickets for my little brother's birthday to see him in Houston last year and then was asked to be a groomsman in a wedding the same night...had to reluctantly give my ticket up. BUT just bought tickets again for this October where Nate is going to be at a Drive-In theater. Don't know how that's gonna work but I'm ready for the experience! Hope to see Barnabas and Aaron there too!
I've been watching this podcast for a few years and I gotta say its been cool to watch Kenny, Billy, and Justin grow into their roles. Keep up the good work!
Love the longer podcasts! When I first started comedy I did a show at a dive bar and I was super excited because someone offered to film my set. It was going to be my first filmed set, so I wanted to only stick to the jokes (and not interact with the crowd). I end up doing 5 minutes to absolute silence. The only noise other than myself talking was after a failed punchline, I paused hoping for a laugh, and all you can hear is a squeaky bathroom door open and close. Brutal but great for learning!
It was very sweet to hear about Nate running jokes by Harper and wanting her to know that his vocation of father comes first. Growing up as a pastor's kid, I was thankful to never be used as a sermon illustration. However, if I confessed my sin to my pastor, there was often a strange coincidence. When Friday night rolled around, there was often no car available for me. (Don't worry my Dad and I had (and still have) a great relationship. Love the show; it was great to hear you guys briefly talk about your faith.) I'll go proofread this now.
Brian’s story about bombing was the highlight of the episode 😂. (I really wanted to use the name Brisket but just tried to only say something nice about Brisket)
Had a nightmare that was possibly the scariest I’ve ever had. The only thing that happened in the dream was I was trying to find my way out of a Home Depot. I couldn’t find the exit and Brian kept following me around demanding I call him by the right name but I couldn’t remember it I called him ever B name in the book and eventually woke up. Love the podcast keep up the good work, great group of comics and Brian.
Love the podcast guys! We saw Nate when he came through the Birthplace of Magic right before Covid hit. We were already huge fans but the new set crushed that night. With Covid and tour delays, when can we expect to see this set online or on streaming services? I’ve been using short clips of Nate’s standup to start our teacher professional development each week so far this year. We used the “before guy in weight loss ads” for goal setting, “iced coffee with milk” for clear communication, and “dead horse” for not being afraid to ask questions. I’m going to eventually need some new material to share!
The look on Brian’s face when you said you don’t ever want to hurt someone’s feelings in your comedy... 😂 you pick on him all the time! Great podcast, we’ve watched from day one. My husband and i are big fans of you Nate! keep it coming!
The names people come up with for baptism are absolutely killer. 🤣 thought I'd even the playing field for bulge. Hands down my favorite podcast listening to napkin bargatze, apostrophe weber, and Butterbean bates is exactly like hanging out with your own friends and the normal ballbusting that goes along with it. Super easy to watch and listen. Keep up the good work nintendo, algebra, and buttermilk 🤘
This quickly became my favorite podcast!! You guys are all hilarious! I love hearing about all of Nate’s experience and funny stories, I just wish we heard more stories from Aaron and Barnaby too! This episode kinda felt like Nate was being interviewed. But I still loved it 🙂
Another unbelievably funny show guys. Loved hearing the stories about bombing. Burp’s story of bombing at a cattle auction was the best. I’m curious to know how much the auctioneer paid for that CD.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Brian and Aaron’s stand up and think they do great on this podcast! I’m glad I was able to discover Nick as well. Never heard of him, but will now have to check out his stand up special on Netflix.
I loved when Nate and Barkley talked about phrases that are used “uncorrectly.” Reminds me of a colleague at work kept using the word “irregardless” in conversations or trying to explain that he likes his eggs real “Oakey”. Aaron and Brinks keep bringing the heat. Ps. instead of calling people out for their sources, if they question you just yell “I’ll Decide!”
I’m a pastor & I’ve always thought that standup comedy was a similar profession. Not trying to be funny but just the craft of working out words to share in front of people and gaining their attention/respect. Malcolm Gladwell talks about doing something for 10,000 hours & that makes you an “expert” so to speak. I’ve been in my profession for 20 years & I’m still learning but it’s kind of a rush/adrenaline thing to get in front of people and see what happens. Do you guys feel like you’ve reached that point where you could get up in front of anyone and “win them over”? I know our “jobs” are different but being comfortable in front of people is a skill you hone. Have you put in 10,000 hours? Love the podcast. - Matt
Hey Nate - love the podcast and Brunch & Munch too. The comedy podcast hit home pretty close as my dad passed away a couple of weeks ago and he always talked about doing stand up. He was funny, but horrible at timing. So at my dad’s funeral, the pastor got up and after speaking he started singing A-cappella. While he was singing I leaned over to my wife and said “What learning guitar was just too much?” You guys keep it up.
Finding out Nate was the Nanny at a gym!!?? Makes me love him even more! In JR high, I had multiple Saved by the Bell episodes memorized. It drove my mom nuts.
Another great podcast guys. Wednesday is the best day of the week because I know there will be a new Nateland episode. Banana’s bombing story made me feel sad for him but it is a life lesson that every defeat leads to an even greater success.
I love hearing the back stories on jokes. I wish more comics did that. Please keep those coming. I would love to hear the back story on getting into the football game early and I would love to hear Bif talk about getting heckled when the guy said you need a bigger tractor. Your face is priceless in that video. What do you guys think about hecklers and how do you handle them? Huge fan. Keep it up. Nate has been my favorite comedian since he popped up on my Pandora about 4 or 5 years ago. Got all 9 of my siblings onto his stuff as well. (Mormon) Nate looks identical to my brother by the way. Same delivery too.
My very first live comedy show was Nate about 2 weeks ago and I had the time of my life...i laughed so hard I was crying. when the show was over I got to meet him and take a pic with him before he got on the bus. And yeah, I felt so dumb for only being able to say "the show was great, I just love you" 🤦♀️ but it was totally worth the money and my feet hurting for having to park and walk like 10 blocks to see him. 100% recommend going to his show if you ever get the chance, you will not regret it!!!
On the subject of closed captioning, I am a closed captioner and every time I listen to you guys I think of how much of a nightmare Nate would be to caption. 😂 Love the show and look forward to it each week. You guys are awesome! PS. I vote for Bart to permanently change his name to Breakfast W. Bates. W is of course for worried.
I’ve been binging Nateland, and finally caught up so I can look forward to the release each Wednesday. Is Nateland the new Mandalorian? You tell me, Helix Sleep. Anyway I’ve ingested so much Nateland on any given day that I’ve started dreaming the podcast. Either I need to take a break, or my dreams can tell future episodes (Will update after the next few to confirm). In last night’s dream, I was a guest on the show, and Breakfast was walking us through a questionable Wikipedia “article” that basically said the leaps in the history of technology could be traced from Fire, to the Light Bulb, to the Internet. As a visual aid, there was a science class light bulb kit (the kind you touch a wire to a battery and a light bulb), and my job was to make the light turn on at Nate’s cue which was “Let there be light!” Nate gave the cue and when I touched the wire nothing happened. Nate yelled “Cut!” and Aaron proceeded to show me how the kit worked like I was 5, and of course it lit when he did it. I was so embarrassed and Nate was really getting stressed, like, “C’mon man, we brought you on to do one job and it’s not that hard.” Nate yelled “Action!” and when we started up again the same thing happened. I was sweating and apologizing then everyone started laughing and Nate pulled out a remote control that turned the light off and on. The episode was one lame prank but felt so real. Thanks for the laughs even after hours. You guys are killing it and can’t wait for more. If I’m ever in Nashville let’s grab some Krispy Kremes. I think I could put away a dozen.
If Bradley doesn't already have an entire set about him bombing, there's a real missed opportunity there. Could probably become a famous comedian based on being a bad comedian. That bombing story was so freaking funny.
"Now Nate, don't you think you are being a little hard on Wally and the Beaver?" Admittedly, this comment would have been better placed on the TV episode, but I didn't watch it until later, so throwing it out there now. Although well before my time, leave it to Beaver was my dad's favorite show and don't think anyone has cared him The Beaver yet. There have been some strong contenders this far but maybe it will stick. Laughing a lot each week guys. All 3 of you bring something to the podcast. Happy you decided to put this out there and looking forward to more! Jon Crow
Once per month i search 'Nate Bargatze' to see if he got new comedy. Now he got his own podcast. Now i can rest. 👌🙏Love the podcast. Im From The Netherlands.
I love how Briefcase and Nate subtlety jab at each other (it’s more subtle when Briefcase does it than when Nate does it)
Did you mean Butters? Briefcase was on last week.
Briefcase and Butters hilarious names lol
I've listened to every episode, its just occurring to me that Aaron and Bingo arent just 2 guys nate ran into at Walmart
Brake pad looks like making the naughty list is a real concern year round.
Brake pad, that’s good stuff!
P.S.
Nate: “I would never wanna hurt anybody’s feelings”
Broth: “gets feelings hurt every 2 seconds through the 2 hour show”
Hahah you guys are awesome
Nate's speech on making your dreams come true was truly inspiring.
If you’re here looking for Breakfast’s bombing story mentioned in the “The Bible and Recycling Episode”, it’s at 1:52:46.
The “worried” look from Butter is the same look Toby Flenderson had when he realized he was the only one left with a mustache during Movember.
I am listening to this in June 2023 for probably the 3rd time. I have been a faithful listener since early in the podcast. It is fun to listen to older podcasts and hear stories that get referenced again as years go by! You guys are the best!
It's funny to watch how many times Nate touches and moves his microphone. I just keep yelling "stop it!" when he does.
2:10:00 the magician with the doves story!!! I seriously laughed so hard I almost passed out just like Bingo's baseball sorry.
I’m 11 episodes into this podcast and just now realized that I have seen Aaron live before! Keep up the great work guys, I love the podcast!
Barron's bombing story was hilarious! Funny episode guys you're doing great.
Nate, Aaron, and Bulgaria should all have their own sit-com.
Aaron looks like someone that wants to drive a wrangler but settled for a honda crv
Big Jay story was hysterical. It sounded like the Kool Aid man busting through the drywall. Aaron won’t get that reference but Beyoncé sure will.
I think the next sponsor for the podcast should be Grammarly because most of the comments you all read really need their services.
damn episode 11 and the boys have 2 ads. I'm telling you in a couple episode we'll have a " we're moving to texas cause spotify gave us 100 bazillion dollars" 30 seconds video
Nateland is definitely my Bag! Yah baby Yah!
If Toby Flenderson was Brian's cousin, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
Having Nate do the ad reads is a bold decision. Probably a job better left for Blake.
Bumper looks like if Turkey Bacon was a person. Love u guys!
Nate reading the first ad felt like it would spiral down a helix, but he pulled through. Cool hearing the Dead Horse origin story. I didn't realize that Brimley was the one with Nate on the trip to Mt. Ranier.
The birds being thrown in the fan at the magic show had to be the funniest story so far in 10 episodes . I laughed so hard at work it made my day .
Belly's bombing story is right up there with his horrible base stealing story HAHA.
This has easily become the highlight of my week during quarantine! Absolutely love it!!
Brice Barnes looks like he can’t remember if he locked his car or not
Hey y'all,
I just wanted to say a big thank you for the quality comedy and for giving me something real good and funny to listen to after a long deployment to the middle east. Thanks Nate for serving the troops on your USO tours, it means more than you know to us. God Bless.
The thought of Nate trying do dirty comedy is hilarious 😂
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh more bombing stories please, especially from Boo Radley.
Aaron's cap is dope AF! 🔥🔥🔥
Ol' Billy Red Hair has the Helix (Hellix?) hookup for Nate. Love the pod fellas
I love this podcast and for the first time Nate actually made a lot of sense just kidding lol. Seriously tho there's some great life advice starting at the 55:37 mark, he's referencing stand up comedy but I feel like what he's talking about can be for any career related topic or whatever passion you want to achieve in life
That’s how fast ad reads are meant to be!! Another great episode with Nate, Aaron, and Bort.
I like the idea of a Nate "unbelievable" counter that can pop up on the bottom right of the screen
Let’s stop messing up Brian’s name and start really going at Aardvark, he’s flown under the radar for too long
of course hes flying under the radar, he can barely get off the ground
Drunk On LaCroix Jesus dude, not cool
No robert, no
Oh you mean Ashton?
Brian's bomb show story was "crying" funny. Made my night
This podcast is so comforting and wholesome that when you guys start making merch, I want plush toys of each of you.
Keep it up!

Love this podcast! Nate is my favorite comedian, I commute back and forth to NYC and it makes the drive alot better.
I've been watching this podcast for a few years and I gotta say its been cool to watch Kenny, Billy, and Justin grow into their roles. Keep up the good work!

Love the Pod. Y’all are the Big 3 of Comedy. Nate is Lebron Weber Chris Bosh
Beans is Dwayne Wade.

Another amazing episode boys. From one Tennessean to another you guys are crushing it! I loved Broccoli's story about the ag fundraiser!
We gonna see a Theo Von appearance now that he’s in town?
Agreed
Nate Garbtrashski, Dagwood, and Other Guy KILLIN it in this huuuuge spot! Keep up the work fellas!
The look on Brian’s face when you said you don’t ever want to hurt someone’s feelings in your comedy... 😂 you pick on him all the time!
Great podcast, we’ve watched from day one. My husband and i are big fans of you Nate! keep it coming!

Bartholomew is so beautifully akward. Nap and Error are cool too. Keep swinging at that big yellow ball.
The magician story brought me to tears.
Saw your stand up in west palm and originally found you on Netflix love the content keep it up guys!!
(Mormon)
Nate looks identical to my brother by the way. Same delivery too.
i feel like you guys are on a roll now
We need to start a GoFundMe for those krispy kreme donuts
I 💙 how Holly STILL only sticks around for the comments. 🤣 🐕
I think Aaron doing mock trial in high school is the least surprising thing ever. He reeks of mathletes and other extra-curricular activities.
Yet he still comes across as totally cool. Smart men are IT.
Brian's "trial" bits are underrated here....he is hilarious.
On the subject of closed captioning, I am a closed captioner and every time I listen to you guys I think of how much of a nightmare Nate would be to caption. 😂
Love the show and look forward to it each week. You guys are awesome!
PS. I vote for Bart to permanently change his name to Breakfast W. Bates. W is of course for worried.
I love this!!!
I love to see Aaron crying he’s laughing so hard!
Buffalo Brisket does have some good lines. It looks like it irritates Nate, but you can tell he loves them.
I grew up playing in bands. It seems like trying to become a successful comic is INCREDIBLY similar to trying to become a successful musician.
@26:44 so great
I’ve been binging Nateland, and finally caught up so I can look forward to the release each Wednesday.
As a visual aid, there was a science class light bulb kit (the kind you touch a wire to a battery and a light bulb), and my job was to make the light turn on at Nate’s cue which was “Let there be light!”
Nate gave the cue and when I touched the wire nothing happened.
Nateland is my source
Woohoo first, love what you guys are doing there, keep it going 🇳🇿
Birdfood is getting funnier and funnier
Alvin looks like a shop teacher who only has 3 fingers left and constantly shows the kids when they are using the table saw to remind them.
Love the podcast. Just wanted to say that Ben may look worried but Nate looks like Tom Segura and Lieutenant Dangle at the same time
1:52.41 for the cd auction story
Came here for this story. Thanks!
If Bradley doesn't already have an entire set about him bombing, there's a real missed opportunity there. Could probably become a famous comedian based on being a bad comedian. That bombing story was so freaking funny.
"Now Nate, don't you think you are being a little hard on Wally and the Beaver?"
Admittedly, this comment would have been better placed on the TV episode, but I didn't watch it until later, so throwing it out there now.
