Yogi still has a yearning for Africa in his eyes, in his manner of talking. People from Africa live from the land, on the land, with sun on our skin, the wind in our hair, the stars shining down at us 365 days a year, we plough our lands, we plant and harvest, we teach our children about our ancestors and prepare them for their future. We have all the luxury amd technology found elsewhere in the world. I know because I am from Africa. Cape Town, South Africa on the continent of Africa. I love Russia and can't wait to spend three months there in 2023 because I want to buy a dacha and prepare for longer periods in Russia 🇷🇺❤️🇷🇺 God bless Africa and Russia

Africa has nothing to offer Yogi. He would end up living in a plastic shack next to a polluted river, and scrounging for food in refuse bins in the suburbs, or maybe working as a car guard at the local mall. At least in Russia he gets a pension.

@@JackSmith-ou1dg Be serious, he can work at the Russian Embassy in his country as an interpreter any time or for some Russian-Chinese company in his country, must be more of those than the locals are wishing for around there, these days.
Besides, he has Family there, family means something to everyone in the old age, if they don’t live off or by the dumpster, he won’t live by the dumpster; if they live by that dumpster and that’s what they’re gonna be used to, he’s gonna get used to it too, it’s not going to be worse than that horrible shack he lives in, I have a better place for my gardening tools than that place!
I’ve seen pigs and cows living in better accommodation than his!
In his country, he’s gonna be home with his people and his daughter and his grandchildren… people would gather in the evening around him to listen to his stories… he’s gonna become a legend…what has that poor Russian village to offer him?
      Sheer isolation?
      Sheer poverty?
      Sheer bullshit?
Buy the man a plane-ticket to go home, nobody should be forced to live like that after getting a bloody degree in any country!
To me, he looks like a trapped man, trapped there by the distance and lack of money and lack of understanding and sympathy and help from authorities to repatriate.
His predicament tells me volumes about Russia.
Of course he’s not all that keen to show his desire to go back home, he has his pride, he’s scared to go there empty-handed, he has nothing to show for his entire life in Russia, he can’t bring them even some small presents, he doesn’t have any money… he’s thinking they will scold him or laugh at him or humiliate him because he’s so poor but it’s not his fault actually, it’s Russia‘s fault!
Do you think if he went - based on the exactly same scholarship like in the one he had for Russia,- and studied the same thing in any other country in Europe or Canada or even in South America, he would have ended up like this?!
      No way, rest assured.
I didn’t say United States on purpose… because if he was wise enough to go there instead of Russia, he would’ve been somebody today.
Russia has a bilateral accord about foreign students like any other country, they should have employed him or at least help repatriation by his own country.
What happened to this man it’s not right, by far.
      His life was destroyed.

Thank you for checking up on and visiting with Jogi, my countryman from Uganda.
