It's really weird, unfortunately I found no other solution than changing the timeslot or the map until the spawn works as usual. Mostly it lasted about three to five rounds until I got a dead map again. A good indicator was when the weather conditions changed after switching, very often animal spawns were back to normal. And thank you for your initial hint about this bug or whatever it is in the end.
Higher frame rates are always an improvement and make the gameplay smoother. The next-gen version of the game for Series X and PS5 should also look a bit better than the older version.
I have a question...I was grinding fallow deer in that same region in the morning...in the camping house downstairs...everything was going well until fallow deer stopped appearing...before I could get the legend
Also does anyone have the problem where as soon as you find 2 fallow deer they instantly turn red and run away. At 200 yards without moving and im using scent killer
The animal AI in HS2 sometimes acts weird. In some situations you get so close to the animals that you could pinch them in the nose, in other cases they flee when you are still half a kilometer away.
i play a lot cotw and decided to load this game up last month. had dead maps also...other than harghita. i like this game because it's not as predictable as cotw and more of a hunting game but dead maps are no fun either.
Thank you for your comment! Personally, I have this problem exclusively in Harghita County. All other maps work as intended. The animals have many possible spawn points which are often slightly different in the various timeslots.
@@Thund3rtheHunter when i first got this game i had animals everywhere. i used to love roosevelt forest. i had moose, whitetail bear cougars coming out of nowhere all over the place. i'd step out of the cabin and within 2 minutes i'd see moose down at the river. now i load it up and it's a ghost town. can't find any moose or whitetail anywhere. my maps are definately not the same as when i first got it
@@dagg310 As an example for moose in Roosevelt Forest you can watch this video if you haven't seen it yet. ua-cam.com/video/2aBRleJ8dHk/v-deo.html I grind a lot at the three easy moose hotspots in the same timeslot to find a legendary specimen close to the maximum weight. The spawn points vary for almost every hunt. Approximately, I can say that in 100 attempts the distribution was like this: 10 moose directly at the main cabin 30 moose at the southern spot 40 moose at the northern spot 20 attempts without any moose There are other possible spawn points, but they are rather difficult to reach and require long walks. A moose was probably there if I didn't find anything at the other spots. As far as I know, there were no patches since the release of the Rangers Life DLC in March 2021, so technically the game can't really have changed since then. I haven't yet found out why exactly some maps feel different now and why such problems sometimes occur.
Thank you im so glad im not the only one with this problem.

the newer consoles make the gameplay so much better

The spawn should work again, at least temporarily, if you play a few rounds in a different timeslot or on a different map.
AYYY boy what the haillll I only have one badge for a grizzly bear not unlimited
For the unlimited licence for all bears you need the bear hunter pack dlc.
@@Thund3rtheHunter does it cost money in real life
@@Mav_vr_was_taken Yes, it is a paid DLC in the store of the platform you are playing on.
Question. do you need to hit a vital organ to kill an animal
Technically yes.
After enough non-lethal hits, the animal may die at some point, but this leads to unnecessary fines.
@@Thund3rtheHunter thanks
I could find 20 legendary legendary animals before even catching a glimse of the fallow deer

Sometimes it seems like they've disappeared from the game.

Zur Not einfach mal ein bisschen spazieren gehen und Blümchen angucken. 😅
Es gibt sogar Schmetterlinge!😂
Leider ist die Geschichte ein wirklich nerviger Bug oder was auch immer.
