I don't think PC players understand that even when a controller player beams someone, or one clips them in a game like Apex. PC players can still do the same. It's like they've never seen a one clip before.

No, controller is good at close-mid range. At close range it's really easy to lose a player on controller and at long range, it's difficult to make tiny adjustments to get the target in line. Mouse is overall way better in every range. People saying otherwise are coping and using aim assist as an excuse to justify themselves being shit at video games. X has always been shit at aiming during actual matches, with is why in his pro career he mained characters that had little reliance on aim. His takes on aim assist is him overdosing on COPIUM and nothing else.

Aim assist just slows down sensitivity a bit when near a target. Some games aim assist can pull to target and auto lock like rockstar games. Xqc is smoking crack or something

What are u smoking? You can literally see it locking to the enemies in this video? :D Call of duty and halo etc or well almost every game with aim-assist is the same shit. All you gotta do with a controller is to aim at the direction your enemy is and then ADS and wallah you are locked into your enemy and he's dead in 1 second.
yeah and it depends on the game. on apex aim assist is really only useful when the persons like 20m infront of you, but in fortnite its more useful when theyre further away and then on some games like u mentioned on gta its basically auto aim. every kill in this video could of been done probably better using a mouse and they were barely moving in the first place

As a player who played Fortnite chapter 1 on controller and returning in chapter 3 on mouse + keyboard, I find that aiming long range is much easier with mouse. Up close with a shotgun was much easier with controller. I also find building to be easier when I played controller but that's probably just me being a noob at WASD controls.

These PC vs Console/controller debates are always funny to me, comparing a keyboard with 104 keys/buttons and a mouse with 2 feet of space, your whole arm, hand and fingers to aim with the ability to 180 and 360 in .2 seconds while hitting 13 keys will always be superior and better than a controller with 16 buttons and the ability to move and aim with simply thumbs oh and may I add you're using 2 different pieces of equipment, 3 if you count the headset oh and AND you play with more frames, better quality, better experience, better load times because it's not just superior with equipment and aiming but the system in general is more powerful and an overall better experience. Most of the kids who say "Aim assist and controller are broken" have never played with one.

Most keyboard players that I know don't do that outlandish stuff. I play apex for example and out of all my friends that play only a few were doing tap strafing for example. Most just play casually as do controller players.

People who complain about controller aim assist are just noob PC players. I've been using a controller for 20 years now and played plenty of games that require pinpoint accuracy without aim assist, so I can say I'm pretty familiar with how to game. That being said I used a keyboard and mouse just once and it felt like I was genuinely cheating. The fact it's even a debate is hilarious. I can't think of one pro a controller has over fps games compared to a kB&M

Close distance you have a big advantage with a controller. It Just follows the target when aiming down sight. Also the recoil is far less on console with controller.

Fun Fact: Literally everything in this video is over exaggerated, in most games like Fortnite and Apex, “Aim Assist” only slows down the ADS speed when bear an enemy in your sights, as such no the bullets do not track, it just slows down your sensitivity to allow you to hit more shots but usually messes up your aim so a lot of people (Me included) actually turns it off or down by a lot. The exaggerated Aim Assist is broken mainly came from Story Games and GTA 5 because in those games Aim Assist literally snaps onto a target.
Yeah for GTA I turned it off because it ruins the fun. The lack of consistency does throw off your rhythm too. Especially if you play multiple different games with varying levels of assist.

@@PastPositive T-hunt can have aim assist, but it’s much lower than what GTA 5 can have. I personally prefer to use Free Aim - Assisted on GTA for just a bit of aim smoothing and slowness with my controller.

i play both with a controller and m+k pretty equally, and if we talking just fortnite, no. aim assist isnt broken. it usually takes longer time to properly aim with a controller than with a mouse. and that is the reason consoles have aim assist. to try to make it closer to equal. but m+k has unreal recoil control. so, it ends up being better anyway.

@@cfvgd You dont learn how to use aim assist you learn how to aim just as mouse does but a joystick is way different from a mouse and all console games have it because without it the accuracy input is terrible its like someone playing on a trackball vs someone whos playing on touch screen. A joystick you have to push and pull with ur thumb and a mouse you have complete control over. The desk is essentially a screen hence why it allows for better accuracy and aiming. Aim assist is just there to help alittle thats why its called assist the strength of it is different in every game like halo and gta could be considered lock on but fortnite isnt. Yall also forget that people who play on console have most likely been playing on console for a long time i mean i hopped on K&M fortnite for the first time but doesnt mean i just magically forget how to aim when you switch platforms you still know the fundementals of course my aim wasnt as good but i could still build almost as good and aim just as good

@@MagmaKami not true. That's just one aspect of it. It has rotation aim assist. It will lock on target if you are close with your crosshair. All console games have this to some degree.

I dont understand how people still arguing about shit like this. Keyboard and mouse has every fucking privelege in shooting games.
With the exception of Aim Assist. The top 10% of controller players almost usually outperform the top 10% of keyboard players. The traditional "you have a whole arm" mentality is no longer valid. Deadzone, building sensitivity, re-binding on controller, new settings for aiming in, free looking around, and EVERYTHING. This allows your thumbs to basically play like a MnK.
We're not claiming aim assist for console is broken; we know they need it. But we're talking about aim assist in general, which is simply broken; there's a reason why top players prefer to play with a controller. We've seen pros who are AMAZING on MnK, but they always return to controller. I came from a console and a controller background, and I always argue that PC + Controller (aim assist) is what's problematic.
This "privilege" you speak about is a ruse. There's no reason to say "you have a whole arm" with the new controller technology. They have paddles, overclocked controllers, and DS4windows for PC players to have LITERALLY no latency and insane customizations to have pixel perfect accuracy, much the same as MnK.
And before you reply, "Why don't you just go to controller if it's so broken?" That's a ridiculous idea; many people I know, including myself, enjoy the pleasure and satisfaction of a kill that I obtained entirely on my own. I switched from Controller to a more convenient setup, and I'm not going back.
If Warzone 2 has the same controller advantage as Warzone, I might switch to controller. We're talking about what pros use, a modified controller like Scuff, with DS4 windows. There's a reason why top pros who utilize controllers play more aggressively in tournaments than MnK players who must rely on strategy > aim. Do I believe MnK keyboard players have an advantage? Hell yes, and it's evident. Just as Controller players have advantages, something I see a lot of people complain about MnK. Those controller players, however, are not held accountable for their comments. MnK requires pure skill because there is no support, controller players complain JUST as much as MnK and even more if anything. Yet it's sad no one backs up MnK which is where it should come in. There has been plethora of evidence that aim assist is stronger than it should, even Fortnite nerfing it for console because it was BROKEN.... Nerfing it on PC because it was stronger the more FPS you had. But DS4 windows and other assistance can reverse that or give the advantages as they had prior.
Make your own conclusions based on what I said, this is coming from someone who has competed on BO1, BO2, and the majority of the CoD's (for money). Only recently have I made the complete move to PC (even though I played on PC since I was 4, now being 21). My main machine was console until Rust and Fortnite came out, and then I converted it to full MnK. Playing Fortnite competitively in tourneys until Season 2 Chapter 1 released. Now I play Apex (Predator, and Warzone with a 5kd).
Which both of them I play w/ controller players who have near the same KD and the same ranks.
Think of both sides, not just why controllers have only one advantage that takes the cake for shooting games but MnK has "every privelege" that controller players basically have now. They're shooters for a reason, Aim > anything else. You can be bad at building or worse than someone who knows how to build, but your aim can take the cake.
