The Bulls are run by bean counters. That's a known fact. Once that attendance started to drop off, they began making some moves. What I mean by "moves", is that they improve the team just enough so they can start gaining attention again. They double down on marketing, sell this improved squad as some championship contender to a fan base that is stuck in the 90s.
Rinse. Lather. Repeat. They've been doing this since MJ left.

Thing is, Ball did make a lot of difference not only for his playmaking but especially brcause of his court vision on offense and especially on defence, his ability to switch and guard almost any position. DeRozan and Lavine are good players who are great only when they function in a system. Vuc is extremely overrated.

In regards to the 2020 draft, they got a guy in PW that averaged the same scoring and rebounding for the whole NBA season that he averaged in college. He also started 71 games for them that year and took the least amount of shots of the starters and was 1st or second in steals, blocks, turnovers and fouls. Not bad for a rookie. Halliburton came into that draft out of college with a fractured wrist and this was Coby White's first full season as the starting PG, the guy they had drafted the year before. As always, hindsight is 20/20. I mean, the Pistons took an actual PG in the draft at 7 and got Killian Hayes instead of Halliburton. That dude is averaging 8 pts and 5 assists for his career.

I still don't understand how any team looks at Vucevic and thinks "yeah, that's what we need." All you had to do is look at the fact his 20 and 10 basketball in Orlando never got them past 10th place. Why? Because he doesn't protect the rim, nor play tough inside, so it changes the makeup of your defense when you have a soft player at the anchor. Especially if your other two stars are one-sided players who just play defense long enough to get the ball back.

But I'm realist too, so I say getting Alex Caruso and Zack Lavine to help win the chip would be great. A healthy Lonzo Ball would be a steal too. Solid players on defense is what we need.

They did good on bringing in the players they got, the big mistake they made is to get this bomb coach, when you get good talent you can't get any coach, so don't put it all on the players they got now.

How about LaVine for Harden in a 4-team-deal with the Blazers and Clippers?

The ownership have the lowest standards in professional sports. We know they aren’t serious about winning a chip and they’re stuck in quicksand until that changes

I’m sorry but 2015 the bulls were a criminal call by the officials from going to the finals. But 3 officials didn’t see David Blatt calling timeout, when they had none. The technical fouls wouldve sealed the win and put the bulls up 3-1 on Cleve. A cavs team that got blown out by GS. WCJ is mids af

I used to not believe the media's narrative on the Bulls, but this time, it's very evident that they're in big trouble.

    >The Bulls new front office makes shortsighted moves!
Recommends the Lakers trade most of their depth for a guy who probably wouldn't resign for a team that is barely good enough to get to the 2nd round of the playoffs

As a Bulls fans they need to (organization) hire the people in office from the thunder and let go of all the players currently in the roster and let Cody White shine, while getting future draft picks!!!!!

If doing a rebuild, then trade Lavine for Harden who will be one year rental to get Lavine's contract off the books.

There was no other option for Bulls. Bulls (like Lakers) are proven to be completely unable to evolve young players into real good players. Remember how bad was Wendel and Lauri for them and how they explode when they moved. But their front office and coaching stuffs are just above average all these years

I don’t think LA should trade for Derozan, since after LeBron leaves I think they will start a rebuild, whether they like it or not.

Being the middlest team in the league is the worst position to be. Lavine has peaked, you cant depend on derozan, vooch is aging and cant def anything, their young players are average at best, lonzo is injury prone.
