Hi guys, I am Cang from Vietnam, a 56-year-old man
After watching your videos, I suddenly remembered that I lived in the southern countryside in the 70s - 80s (after ending the Vietnam war), where there was no electricity. At that time, the kids often ate homemade ice cream, people made ice cream at home similar to the way you showed in the last video.
Please add that ice is only produced in diesel-powered factories and shipped to small grocery stores where people bought ice to make ice cream.
The ingredients for ice cream are very simple and cheap: milk, sugar, vanilla, durian, jackfruit, green beans... Everything is handmade, ingredients are mixed and put into a small plastic bag, then put in a bucket of salted ice and shaken until solid. It is named according to the type of fruit.
There is a difference when making banana ice cream, ripe bananas are pressed and sprinkled with coconut milk and roasted peanut on top. Banana ice cream is sealed in a plastic bag and chilled in a block of ice, that's it.
Today, Vietnamese children can eat most of the ice cream produced domestically and imported. I wonder if making ice cream by handmade like before, will the kids like to eat it?
Wishing you all good health, thank you so much.

Hi Quoc, thank you for being a member! We do not usually have scripts for our conversations. That is because we do not know what we will say before. But we have been thinking of providing these scripts in the future. Do you think that is a helpful idea? We would love your feedback!
