First of all, Greeks did the Coup in Cyprus in the first place and the Turkish army did not enter Cyprus without a reason even though Greeks want it to portray it like that. The Greek Junta army illegally supported the coup which had the intention of uniting Cyprus with Greece and what Greece did was perceived illegal by UN. Was it not for the Turkish army entering Cyprus, the Island would be a Greek Island today. They should be glad that you have the half of the Island after the Turkish army entered. Greek politicians are still chanting for a “Megali Enosis”. You may not perceive the UN plan as a reunification plan but UN put the plan as a reunification plan, it was not Turkey. Cypriot Turks voted yes for reunification, Greeks voted no. As a result even UN and EU started to perceive northern Cyprus to have the right for integrity even though they did not recognize it as a state yet. Regarding our Kurdish brothers, how are we oppressing them?
