Very nice! I've never used black paper. I must try it sometime. I've done needlework on black fabric but never painted on black paper! Hmmmmm! :)

I'm painting (in oils) a mermaid swimming around some coral. I think I might use the rolled up paper technique with a thin layer of paint when the weather is more forthcoming. I'm a big fan of yellow ochre, indian yellow, and burnt sienna.
