Very nice. Joan is a little more livley than I remember from your older videos.....? The gas loco is looking VERY smart I must say, suits it. Though I do miss the old paint job a little.
Nice to see and compare these different locations and great fun running on them too. Not sure if I understand your explanation as to what causes the Loco wheels to be out of balance. ? Icertainly know absolutely nothing of any value but I've never seen this problem before. Perhaps I have seen it, but am far too clueless to recognize it as a problem. I'm not sure which part of the motion and wheels are causing this bouncing. It only happens at 6 mph with the engine's being smooth at other speeds. I've put a larger lead weight on the main driver that might have help a bit. I'll keep pondering it.
An engine needs more draught to burn anthracite. If the engine's just pulling one person you probably need the blower but I'd recommend you check for any air leaks in the smoke box especially the door, the alignment of the blast pipe and maybe even reduce the blast nozzle a bit.
Many locos for sale have problems and don't run well out of the box so you will have find the skills to fix them. Join your local model engineering club and ask the members, they'll be only to pleased to help.

Is the Briggs & Stratton engine on the gas mechanical a holdover from New Hampshire as well?

We like driving the loco around CoateWater, one of the best tracks in the UK. I’ve taken a full lap video from the Holmside on my channel as well.
