Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a Hindi comedy film directed by Luv Ranjan. The plot of the movie revolves around the honorary “Bro-Code”, shared between Sonu and Titu played by Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh Nijjar. The two birds of a feather, Sonu and Titu were living the perfect life void of any worry until Titu decides to get married to this perfect woman named Sweety, played by Nushrat Bharucha. Sonu soon doubts Sweety’s character and tries to break the marriage while Sweety tries to do exactly the opposite, which leads to a funny war between Bromance and Romance. Nushrat deserves so much more than what she is getting. She did an amazing job in this movie. She is so good at doing these grey characters in a entertaining way. cant help but like her even when she is doing negative roles.

To help you, just picture one of them as a woman and everything else in the plot stays the same-would you still say that it’s JUST about not letting them marry the wrong person and not that one of them wants the other for themselves and that’s why they won’t let them marry? It’s hidden in plain sight.
@Tangent of circle. Okay one, that WASN'T the focal point of the comment. Secondly, it's no secret that Luv Ranjan absolutely canNOT write female characters to save his life and instead makes them so insufferable and annoying on purpose to somehow make the audience root for the oh-so-poor-and-suffering lead males of the film. It's generalizing to say that females/feminists hate male bonding when that simply isn't true. Both men and women are individuals full of imperfections and flaws of character, however Luv Ranjan specifically exaggerating the Female character flaws and showing the male characters in a divine, can do no wrong light IS misogynistic, like it or not. But then again, that's practically his brand that a lot of (heartbroken/cheated on/frustrated) men eat up because it probably showcases all of their inner feelings out on the screen. Fair enough, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the female characters are purposefully written to be absolutely despised by the viewer. I was simply pointing out the one possible good aspect that comes from such toxicity--LGBTQ representation which tbh isn't that great here anyway.
Sweety is more smarter than Sonu in this movie she always beat him but in the last movie scene Sonu wins just because of titu's believe on him

If you see that scene, it shows her true tears. It's nowhere proved that she's what she claims. It could all be a false assumption
