Love the video man! I personally have experienced cracking on the sole plate and I was very disappointed because this boot is one of my favorites. Definitely top 5 football boot!
Finally too the plunge and copped these in us 8.5 size, the blue colourway. Decided to go with this size rather than 8 because the 8 were super tight on my feet, I don’t want an uncomfortable boot. I think the 8.5 will mould to my feet better. Can’t wait to try them on the pitch!!

I would still prefer my tekela pros than these, something about the fit and feel and soleplate just beats the predator for me. Sadly i was hoping to use my pair of predators, but they are not made for wide feet.

I had these exact boots but sadly the felt like the suffocated my foot, In training I had to keep stopping to undo my laces and when i took my boot off my foot felt the biggest relief when the blood for flowing again, and i had the correct size and everything

Did you play them on ag or fg some people think it is breaking because they play it on ag. Play only on ag and i mean you lose warranty so they maybe won't replace it
What’s with Adidas soleplates and studs quality, my son has had numerous adidas shoes . He has had different models over the years , most recently the previous Predator to these which had the stud break off after 3 months. A Con against Adidas is they don’t give you your money back , only replacement or voucher . They also take long time to decide 2-4 wks , still waiting at this time . Nike gives you your money back. All these shoes cost a lot of money but made out of garbage. Regards Frustrated parent . Fyi love your reviews.
That's a bummer mate, sorry to hear that! Usually that can happen if the player plays on short / older AG pitches with a pair of FG shoes. Might be worth looking into the AG model if your son enjoys how the predator feels!

Very similar except the instinct was wider. You’re probably safe sticking with the same size though. I wore 8.5 in the instinct and both these and the fold over tongue model fit good

They're the same material mate, just a different finish on top of the upper... unfortunately the feeling is quite different as you've said. Wouldn't worry too much about it though, more matte colors will come out soon

Hi mate, how you doing? I have a question; You recommend going true to size? Because I've always been 8US in all predators. I try the laceless one in the adidas store in 8US and it fits well I think. There is a very little space between the toe and the boot, I feel it adjusted to the foot, but not bothering (At least walking) and then I tried the 8.5US and obviously there is much space, but not that much. Less than a finger, but getting contact with a football ball there, it feels a little bit large, don't know why, like less control on it, but overall was comfortable too, but I'm scared if I go for the 8US, it bothers me running on the toe area. Just walking with 8US, feels really well, so you think it's ok? I had the X speed portal laceless in 8US, and it really hurts running and playing, but I think this predators are a little bit wider than the x, so maby there is no problem going 8US knowing I've been always that size on predator. Does the upper stretch at all? I have really wide feet and wear my true size with Mizuno Morelia II’s (found those thanks to your reviews 🙏🏾) but I tried on a pair of these in store, and they fit but I’m wondering if they stretch at all or if they have any leather like feel on feet. Are these more narrow in the forefoot than new balance tekela because i found that the new balance are slipping when i play and i have right sizing because my toes have like 2mm room

I have the tongue version and not impressed. This is basically a synthetic adipure but worst. Only pros is the light feel other than that the shooting feels naked. The synthetic doesn't compare to the OG predators. Anyone that has taken shots on these can attest to that.
@@NoahCavanaugh just being brutally honest. I don't earn a dime from Adidas. But I don't think these boots are worth $300 maybe $180 top. The materials used are so weak vs a legit leather predator boots. If you have the OG ones do a shooting test and you will see what I mean. My adipures from 10 years ago feel better. I guess I am just upset they are pulling on people's nostalgia for a high price.

FGs shouldn't be worn on ANY AG pitch - old or new, short or long.

Very similar except the instinct was wider. You’re probably safe sticking with the same size though. I wore 8.5 in the instinct and both these and the fold over tongue model fit good

Unfortunately they don't do the 4g model in Junior, and the 2g/3g version is a different shape, would you say the elite FG moulds would be fine on AG?
Just to add: Unisport's review said the mould is a little long, and therefore should take that into account when on AG surfaces

They feel WAY better in my opinion than the Accuracy over time. Once you break them in they feel like a second skin!

Just walking with 8US, feels really well, so you think it's ok? I had the X speed portal laceless in 8US, and it really hurts running and playing, but I think this predators are a little bit wider than the x, so maby there is no problem going 8US knowing I've been always that size on predator. What do you think?

Does the upper stretch at all? I have really wide feet and wear my true size with Mizuno Morelia II’s (found those thanks to your reviews 🙏🏾) but I tried on a pair of these in store, and they fit but I’m wondering if they stretch at all or if they have any leather like feel on feet. I also wonder if there are any spots in the forefoot area that might be tight or uncomfortable or if that area stretches a little

Are these more narrow in the forefoot than new balance tekela because i found that the new balance are slipping when i play and i have right sizing because my toes have like 2mm room

Probably the GX2. The Predator Elite is a HUGE improvement on the Accuracy heel area, but the GX is more accomodating in general

I have the tongue version and not impressed. This is basically a synthetic adipure but worst. Only pros is the light feel other than that the shooting feels naked. The synthetic doesn't compare to the OG predators. Anyone that has taken shots on these can attest to that.

@@NoahCavanaugh just being brutally honest. I don't earn a dime from Adidas. But I don't think these boots are worth $300 maybe $180 top. The materials used are so weak vs a legit leather predator boots. If you have the OG ones do a shooting test and you will see what I mean. My adipures from 10 years ago feel better. I guess I am just upset they are pulling on people's nostalgia for a high price.

Preds have a bit more "sturdiness" than the GX2 for sure!
