From what I could understand, it was definitely about all the fishes dying and the the children along with it, but I couldn’t tell if they were trying to be metaphorical or not
Doe's anybody know the correct English translation of this song?? Never found it anywhere. Loved the video with this song that was the kids at the gas chamber. Not seen anymore. Strong song. With that video I cried every time I watched it. Very well done. Gets into your mind. Wonder what in God's name we are doing to each other.
Do you know the English translation of this song?? Would be greatly appreciated. Also what happened to the original video with the two boy's in the camp?? This song and the video together very impressive. Made me cry. Thanks in advance.
The song is referencing fish as children a cyanide spill happened there and all the fish and animals died. That's what the song is about. To my knowledge no actual children died but I'm not positive on that.
Douna spring your bloodletting where comfort and sorrow dissolve Nothing good lies hidden wet In your damp meadow No one knows what happened here the floods are rusty red The fishes were breathless and all sponges dead At the banks in the Meadows The animals became sick out of the eyes into the river the stench of the vile urge Where are the children No one knows what happened here nobody saw anything Where are the children No one saw a thing Soon mother's stand at the stream and cry a flood. On the fields through the dead body the sorrow climbed into all ponds. Black flags on the city all rats fat and satisfied The poisonous humming everywhere and the people so far away Douna spring your bloodletting where comfort and sorrow dissolve nothing good lies hidden wet in your damp meadow Where are the children No one knows what happened here nobody saw anything Where are the children Nobody saw anything
FYI: This song is about the 2000 Baia Mare Cyanide Spill.

Thank god a good version
The original is in a slightly different key, but somehow the key this version is in is somehow more sad and foreboding

Thank you very much for the translation. Makes more sense now. Do you know where the video of this song with the kids in the camp is? Thanks again.

Wait so what happened? Rammstein finally let up on their copyright bullshit?
It's not Rammstein, it's Universal. And the pitch on this track has been altered to avoid copyright detection, so no.
