ভাই কলকাতায় আর‌ও ঘোরার জায়গা আছে। নাখোদা মসজিদ যেখানে দশ হাজার মানুষ একসঙ্গে নামায পড়তে পারে। এসপ্লানেডের একপাশে টিপু সুলতানের মসজিদ আছে । সেন্টপলস ক্যাথিড্রাল চার্চ আছে। দক্ষিণেশ্বর মন্দির আছে। মিলেনিয়াম পার্ক , রবীন্দ্র সরোবর, নিক্কো পার্ক , একোয়াটিকা ওয়াটার পার্ক, ইকো পার্ক, মাদার্স ওয়াক্স মিউজিয়াম, বিড়লা প্লানেটরিয়াম , বিড়লা মন্দির, ফোর্ট উইলিয়ামস, বিড়লা টেকনিক্যাল মিউজিয়াম, ভারতের সব চেয়ে বড় হাওড়া রেল ষ্টেশন , হুগলি নদীর ওপারে বোটানিক্যাল গার্ডেন, বেলুড় মঠ ইত্যাদি । আর যদি ইতিহাসে আগ্রহ থাকে তবে কলকাতার অলি গলিতে ইতিহাস আছে । এসপ্লানেডের পাশে এখন যে রাজভবন আছে সেটা বৃটিশ আমলে বড়লাটের দপ্তর ছিল । লর্ড ডালহৌসিরা ১৯১১ সাল পর্যন্ত আফগানিস্তান থেকে বার্মা পর্যন্ত এখান থেকেই শাসন করত । চিড়িয়াখানার উল্টো দিকে ছোট লাটের বাড়ি যেটা এখন ভারতের জাতীয় গ্রন্থাগার। এখানে লক্ষ লক্ষ ব‌ই আছে । মৌলানা আবুল কালাম আজাদ কলেজ যেখানে বঙ্গবন্ধু পড়াশোনা করতেন। রাইটার্স বিল্ডিং যেখান থেকে শেরেবাংলা ফজলুল হক, খাজা নাজিমুদ্দিন ও সর‌ওয়ার্দি সাহেবরা বাংলা শাসন করতেন। আকাশবাণী ভবন যেখান থেকে বাংলাদেশ মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতার কেন্দ্র পরিচালিত হত । থিয়েটার রোড, যেটা এখন সেক্সপিয়ার সরণী, এখানের ৮ নম্বর বাড়ী থেকে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশ সরকার পরিচালিত হত । যে বাড়িতে বসে নজরুল ইসলাম ' বিদ্রোহী ' কবিতা লিখেছেন । নেতাজি ভবন , এখান থেকেই বৃটিশ সাম্রাজ্যকে কাঁপিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। আর যদি ফুর্তি করতে চান পার্ক ষ্ট্রিটের মত জায়গা কোথাও পাবেন না । দুপাশে সারি সারি রেস্তোরাঁ। গভীর রাত পর্যন্ত নাচ গান হুল্লোড়ে কাটাতে পারেন। যদি পড়াশোনার আগ্রহ থাকে বঙ্গীয় সাহিত্য পারিষদে যেতে পারেন। কয়েক লক্ষ ব‌ই আছে।
