I started listening to ASMR last year, and from the first video I ever watched, I never experienced any tingles. Despite that, I continued to listen for relaxation.. so here I sit watching this video, and you sir, have managed to throw a dodgeball of tingles directly at my face. And for the first time in a year, you are the first ASMR UA-camr to not miss, and I thank you for that... but please don't throw it so hard next time, that kinda hurt..

Kudos for a dark background. It's something I've been wanting to see for quite some time. It's much more relaxing than that ultra bright, sterile background, especially at bedtime.

OMG. I didn't know much of anything about any of this but I have always chased that buzz that I used to feel from nitrous oxide at the dentist. I didn't know and had never stumbled upon it from hearing certain sounds.
I have been obsessing on these videos the last week and you are by far my fav of the people doing them. At first I didn't know if it really applied to me but now I am discovering that I can do it. Feels like my back teeth itch and my head gets foggy. ALSO I am finding that I sleep better, and when I'm awake, I'm more peaceful and I can bring up the tingles even without the sounds, just by taking some deep breaths.
You are really a blessing because I have a lot of stress in my life and this is more than just a pleasure thing. It helps me get calm. Thank you!

Right? My mom has two of those same Tupperwares! And one is the exact same color as his too! (the other is yellow)
I say it's ok so long as the Tupperware integrity hasn't been compromised. Ours is still around somewhere, though we are careful with the older ones when it comes to the microwave. Besides, we have saved some of those new to-go plastic containers that we have gotten from our preferred Asian restaurants that are durable and microwave safe because of the microwave safe thing and they stack well. I use those for reheating food. :P

I always like the quality of the "air hiss" and "room tone" that usually hangs in the background of your videos, but stands out here because you don't speak. It would be interesting to do an ASMR video of only the microphone picking up the sound of the air in the room. The quality of close-up sounds on your videos is fascinating. I'd still love to know what type of microphones you use.
