I am a 75-year old retired junior high/senior high school mathematics teacher. Since I taught mainly algebra skills, never anything more advanced and since it has been 54 years since I graduated from college, I have forgotten all of my advanced mathematics. To keep my brain working (and hopefully delay the onset of dementia) and to try to remember and understand the mathematics that I learned in college , I am taking calculus classes. Your explanations are wonderful and your drawing/writing is excellent. Each example was very carefully explained and the process for finding the solutions was clear. Thank you for the help that you have provided! I hope that I can find more calculus videos from you!
Thank you so much Susan! I'm very happy to hear that my videos are helping and I will definitely keep working on more Calculus videos in the future :D Please don't forget to share with anyone who's also taking Calculus with you and subscribe to support my channel.
@@QuocDatPhung I provided my instructor with a list of your videos that pertain to what we have covered so far in Calculus 2. I also gave her your name so that she can find other appropriate videos. She said that she hopes to upgrade the list of videos that she provides to students. I told her that her students would truly benefit from following the procedures that you use when explaining topics. If students follow your guidance, they will develop very strong and useful habits for solving problems. I admire you greatly. Please tell your family that this old teacher is truly impressed with your teaching skills.
Thank you for such a well-explained lesson, and clean format. The Green-screen camera of you really helps make absorbing the information easier as it doesn't feel like a "youtube video" but more of a lesson.

At 21:50, why could you not do 2=k(0.12) to solve for k instead of setting up that integral?
Hi, why is 2 = k(0.12)? The way explained in the textbook is the integral. That's the most accurate way.
You are my hero
