To anyone hesitating about applying or not, PLEASE APPLY. I personally was careless and did not apply thinking that I didn't have a chance and it is a waste of time but now I REGRET IT. I am a highschool graduate who was born and raised in Abu Dhabi and I am telling it is a very beautiful safe city ( and v hot in summer xd), so if you are concerned about how life would be here in AD dont worry about it at all its gonna be a fantastic jurney. For fees, just dont look the tution fees and apply, most of the students who get in receive a full scholarship! So NO IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE. Also I think its better to apply for Early decision 1 or 2. PLEASE GUYS DONT REPEAT MY MISTAKE, if you are a decent student ( not necessarily academicaly )and looking for an adventure and a great study and life experience NYU AD is the place. If you have any questions about the city just ask me here and I will reply. I really hope this mistake doesn't ruin my future 😔.

That brings down my academics in the 10th and 11th. I was still above 85%. How will that affect my chances of getting in? Also, I relate to NYUAD A LOT!!! I mean i am really culturally diverse and also know my major. Do you have any tips for me?

Its better to ask some1 who actually got in they will know better. However, as far as I know you academic success is important, but you dont need to achieve the highst results, but its important to have good grades ( again... as far as I know). It is also rly important to participate in extracurricular activities, this will increase your chances a lot. I will ask my friend about it and will update once I get slme info. I wish you a good luck in your future and hopefully you make it in! And maybe I can show you around the city XD

They are based on when you apply!!! Also, if you apply on the Early decisions and get in, you are bound to that decision and you have to come to NYUAD!

For the first question, yes, but it would be best if you checked with the school again just to confirm, and though I did say that the length of my extracuriccular activity was my strong point, but I think it really depends on what the activity is!!
Yes sure. However, for result you need to show the significant change in your application form. For example, new extracurriculars, own projects or higher scores ( I hope you understand)
Maggie has another video talking about scholarships, but NYUAD does give full ride scholarships. However, it's mostly based on financial aid/need and very little of it is based on merit

Hey the AOs can see right through if you lie about your extracurriculars!! So it's best to be the person you are! And yes hobbies can definitely be a part of extracurriculars! They want to know what you do when you are not studying or sleeping! So be yourself!
You can definitely write your drawing activities as extracurriculars- you don't always need a document to prove your activity, so you can write about what you did even if you didn't enter any competitions or such!! Wish you all the best !!

@@maggieahn yes , but when i sent them an email asking if it's still open , they told me that both regular and early decision 2's deadline are the Same day and I'll have to wait till August to apply again.

Hello! I wanted to ask: if the Core requires students to complete two Core Colloquia as well as one course in each of four, can I choose for example 'Arts, Design, and Technology' and 'Cultural Exploration and Analysis' as the main two, and then take one course in the rest

Please dont repeat my mistake. That why I did not apply I always said to my self thats huge for tution fees, but later after the deadline has passed I discovered that if you got in you will most propably get a full scholarship or a at least a huge one ( non of the nyu ad students pay the full tution fees ). So please dont hesitate and apply else you will just regret like me.

Can you please tell that what is the difference between Early Decision 1 and Early Decision 2 and also the Regular Decision
They are based on when you apply!!! Also, if you apply on the Early decisions and get in, you are bound to that decision and you have to come to NYUAD!

If you have a your A level scores I think you would be fine, but you should email the school to confirm !!
