Since all night gowns are different, I am going to take one that I have and use it as a pattern. No, I've gained weight. So, would it be best to measure out by 11/2 inches to allow for the increase? The 1 1/2 inches includes the 1/4 inch sewing seam. I live in Minnesota, with winter coming on, I am thinking of using flannel for the nighty. Have you ever worked on flannel for a pattern? My grandma showed me how to make patterns; but, I've forgotten a lot of her instructions. Thank you for making these videos for folks like me. I think of my grandma whenever I sew and have come to understand her love of creative sewing because of folks like you. Blessings.
