Understanding Health Inequalities

Health inequalities are the unfair and avoidable differences in the health of people in our society. They do not occur randomly and are determined by the social factors largely outside of an individual's control. In this video, we discuss the social determinants of health and look at why they are crucial in understanding the causes of, and remedies to, health inequalities.
