Pretty cool house they built - I like how they used so much wood and kept it very classic in design, open-feel like a loft conversion. Very nice and ambitious indeed.
Thank you so much Thomas for putting out these videos!! I’m happy to see you enjoying yourself and getting to visit such wonderful fellow sailors/homeowners !! What a wonderful place they’ve created.Wow.thanks for all your hard work and sharing this with us!! Fair winds ⛵️🍹🍔
Inspirational&nice friends, thanks for letting us virtually piggyback on your visit! I kinda shouldn’t comment when you have so much catching up to do with electronics n’stuff but ooops… I did it again… sorry… 🙄😄 cheers!
Hello to you Tomas and your friends. That still he built is really nice. And I just love his solar panel system that's exactly what I would do if I was in a place like that about 25 batteries two or three big charge controllers and inverters to run everything he's got it going good. I wish him well on his rum tasting business looks like a really beautiful place. Anyways Tomas thank you for sharing your video God bless you and stay safe and healthy my friend.
Glad to see ya moving.. Captain Rick comes in with the fix . He's very good with electrics... What a beautiful place an what a brilliantly built home off grid living at it's best .. an Rum.... Oh yes!! Love that face after a bite of that yummy Hamburger 🍔 .. Looked super delicious... Thanks for sharing your life with us grateful ✌🏼💗😊❣️
Very Nice Boat yer Friends have👍 Should sell quickly as in “Turnkey” Condition…Hoping ya got yer “Clunker” fixed by now😜 Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy 😎
Imponerande att se. Så skulle man leva i dessa tider. Stanna inte för länge, det är risk att det blir ett 20kg besök med all god mat och dryck. 😂😂😎😎⛵️⛵️❤️❤️
Wow!! What a great episode!! Made me smile throughout all of it, seeing you so happy, with happy friends, the high quality of the editing and smooth transitions from one part of the journey to the next. It made me think about the previous episode about the battery/electrical problem that you mentioned. What happened to the boat's system that time? Will you produce that video? Curiosity is getting the best of me! Hahahaa!! Thanks, always for sharing your experiences and friends with the world, because you make it a better place to be in!! CHeers!! 😊
We lived off-grid in the Puna Rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. We found a UV filter to be critical to kill organisms that the filters don't catch.
Lovely Copper Still. Looks Italian Made by the Same Company of Italian Copper Smith Specialists I got Mine from, but could just be the Same Design I suppose. Mine is the Maximum Legal size here in the UK you can have, without being a Registered Distillery, so a Lot smaller than that one, though can do two litres if 100 proof from one Mash - usually making Liqueurs with it, or pretty good Calvados even if I say so myself. What is it with us Off Grid Types with Brewing and Distilling lol. Nice People, Nice Video. Thanks Thomas. Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob. 👍🙂
11:40 Nice collection. :-) Laphroaig 10 - check Amaretto Disaronno - check... 🙂 Grand Marnier I know but don't have at the moment, the rest are probably unavailable here in Germany... 🙂 Edit: ok, some of the top shelf I know but don't like... ;-)
Absolutely 💯 percent perfect 🥰. What a home? Wow! I hope and pray a tsunami doesn't destroy it like it did to a similar family's home in Tonga. It was heart wreching watching on YT. Watching them rescue horses and salvage very little of the home, garden, life they had before that was gone in the blink of an eye. Apologies for being a downer. Seeing this place made me think of them.🙏 Check it out on YT and you will see the similarities. Thanks for sharing your friends and their dream home.
your friend has his batteries hooked up wrong. each battery should connect to a bus bar not to the next battery. if he is doing 24 or 48 volt then 2 or 4 should be hooked up accordingly then to busbars. it kills the load output and batteries can not handle that hard load by themselves. I hate seeing batteries hooked up wrong.
Yes for sure! If you want more details about the boat Please also find details in this episode description with links to my friends listing. All the best and cheers 🍻

what do they do with mosquitos and other pests?
No windows? How do the keep bugs and mosquitoes out?
You hope for strong wind
He meant to say no glass, there are screens and shutters throughout
Took me a while to get around to this. Michael jumped over from Sophisticated Lady.. Always liked seeing you over there. Do you ever run into Plucky ?
good video 🤩.. no much mosquito ?
So what’s happened to your boat? Did you fix it?
Not yet, working with it as we speak.
Needed to order some parts. Updates will come. Cheers 🍻

No doors and windows would make me very nervous with so much expensive gear in a remote part of a very poor country. An invitation to crime.
I’d be more concerned about the friendly critters with no screens, like boas, fer de lance, fire ants.
Mosquitos,no see ums.
What he meant to say is there are no glass windows. There are solid wood doors and screens/shutters throughout
