I really like this interview, Leslie seemed so comfortable sharing his honest opinions about his acting and why he didn't want to go to Hollywood. I just love him, both his singing and acting, he was the best of the best!

+Judy Swierkosz It's been almost a year since I last saw the interview so I listened to it again in order to give you a quick recap of the interview. Basically, it was a conversation about his acting and singing career. The interviewer asked him if he had any role/movie that he was completely satisfied and Leslie replied that it would have been "Farewell my Concubine" and Happy Together". Leslie also said that he was not at all interested in going to Hollywood because he felt that he was one of the top lead actors in Asia/Hong Kong and there was no need for him to go to Hollywood to be a "second rate" actor. He also said that he love nature and when he developed a friendship with someone, he would give his heart. Leslie was candid in this interview (and many others I saw) and I really believe he was a gentleman with a golden heart. He was a rare gem and we lost him way too soon.
Leslie is so excited that he waved his hands in 12:21 :-) He said that he was quite satisfied with the film "Happy Together". But actually he was not in good condition at all . During that time, he was sick and the production also exceeded the original time frame and he was eager to return Hong Kong for the preparation of his Concert 1997. The interviewer said that he had watched this film twice and in his opinion, Leslie's acting was better than Tony Leung. That's why Leslie was so happy to hear that and he jammed his speech with this cute and excited waving action.
Leslie said that he couldn't get award for "Happy Together" , perhaps it's because that movie is not focus on me. Anyway, he felt that he was a very lucky guy, he had so many chance to take part in very good movies.
