just like big ben cant win tournaments off his bass alone... same for inertia.. even though he won that germany battle. (debatable)
@@randojohnson11 the problem isn't about using bass but filling your whole round with bass without any structure at all and a ton of mistakes. Inertia is deadly when he prepares a well structured routine which he has practiced already. But most of his rounds are just free styling with his bass which isn't appealing at all. NAPOM also does freestyling in most of his rounds but he never makes mistakes and somehow he even makes a good structure 😅

@@a180combatbowsergamepro6 Sayin he sucks is crazy im ngl, he can make it to the finals in almost any tournament when he comes prepared. But he definitely could do better preparation and structure wise alot of the times.

This was a fun battle to watch. I appreciate that they are both at different stages in their journey and that I'm getting to watch as both of them grow as artists.
ZVD's sound palette is honestly bonkers, and I love what Inertia is doing, especially right now. American beat boxing is so blessed right now.

KI ending his second round with like 20 seconds left really cost him, ZVD smashed it in the OT. This battle was so tense, they both went hard!
Strange that one of the few left doing counters is Inertia, who usually doesn't do them.

Lol before the battle even started I kind of guessed I my head what routine inertia would open with and I definitely called it.

I just need to express this.. and keep in mind this all going to be from the perspective of only a video viewer and not someone who has been to any live events..
I’ve been a fan of Inertia for AWHILE now so I know practically ALL of his routines. Something he has been better about in the last few years is building fresh routines with his hard hitting sounds such as inward bass being present which is sick. My issue is that older routines will constantly recycled and he did that in this one battle alone two times. Yes they were remixed and with different sounds added, but they’re still repeated too often. In my opinion, I feel he relies on “Reckless” too heavily because at the time of creation, it was beyond anyone’s time in terms of vibe, development of his vibration bass, and just how hard it hit compared to anything else. Now, everyone is in a sense “catching up” and probably already have. He has some sick sounds bro, that inward bass is so nuts to me, so him using certain sounds all over again is not an issue at all since Napom predominantly uses liproll. But the difference with Napom is yes sometimes he will perform a beat in battle he’s previous done before but it’s because he’s been in the game for a long time and he doesn’t do nearly as often inertia seemingly does with inertia not being in the scene as long. Another argument I want to bring up is Tomazacre battling in GBB19 in comparison to D-Low that I feel relates to inertia. For the most part, all of Tomazacres rounds from start to finish had all the theme and specialty sounds, D-Low had different themes for each round in every battle which I feel ultimately lead to D-Low winning the whole competition. I feel inertia has the same problem but is able to get away with it because of his really heavy hitting sounds and the fact that he definitely really pleases every crowd he’s encountered with. That’s all.

Inertia took OT imo, but Zvd should’ve won initially and it shouldn’t have gone to overtime in the first place
zvd mainly took OT because he had better structure compared to KI (which is also true during the battle) but really close overall

Wow! This is like a fantasy battle come to life and it didn't disappoint. Both using elements of their unique sounds and techniques but ZVD edged out Inertia because how he pushed himself to the limits and went straight stupid with it. Amazing battle!!!

I’ve never heard KI live but on video it seems so incredibly clear to me… like there’s no way so many people see him winning this right? Idk maybe it’s just his style or something but he seems way to sloppy and repetitive. If you respond to this, I’d actually like to hear reasons behind your opinion instead of just “nah your wrong he was robbed”
from someone who was there live (and has crowd videos as well) KI didn’t really come through very well at either venue. Not saying he was super weak and didn’t sound good but he didn’t have that super well known inward bass power that KI is known for meaning a lot of his routines were really sloppy.
honestly KI had a chance to win this but his timing issues like ending 15 seconds early, sounds not coming through and his weak and random OT made him lose this battle.
@@Glitchhss they always suck his meat is the real reason why he ever wins anything tbh and he ended 15 seconds early but it was really 30 seconds early because thats when his routine ended and you can see he was putting random sounds to try and end it and he ended at 20 but dragged the sound out for like 5 seconds
yeah i actually checked and there actually dumb kids/idiots defending inertia and saying that ZVD SOMEHOW was actually the one with no structure and stuff and saying inertia was so good and that he won the first two rounds but zvd had the ot and etc its so sad and now that really shows you what i was talking about how people just cant get his meat out they mouth
