There are prequels and also you can possibly read the books and give us your reactions to those as the differences that would be awesome sorry not sorry but I always hate when somebody finishes the series I love when they start it and I want them to get through it so we can discuss the series as a whole but then I hate when it's over
I prefer how they resolved the Elder Wand in the book. In the book Harry doesn’t snap it. He fixes his original wand (the Phoenix wand) then returns the Elder wand to Dumbledore’s tomb. I think that would’ve made a great scene .
@@mrsonicscrewdriver I literally just posted about this like a half hour ago but I didn't prefer how they did it in the books because I thought healing his wand with the elder wand would have been a cool scene but I prefer that he destroyed the wand so it wouldn't fall into dangerous hands again rather than just bury it with Dumbledore even though the only witnesses were his best friends who would later become family I feel like it's just too much of a temptation to leave out there for dark wizards
James Potter’s Patronus was a stag (male deer). Lily’s was a doe (female deer) which complimented her husband’s & shows that they were meant for each other. Harry’s Patronus was a stag too since he was so much like his father. After Lily’s death Snape’s Patronus changed to a doe, like Lily’s, which was a reflection of his love for her. To conjure a Patronus you must think of your happiest memories & most of Snape’s happy memories are of Lily & the time they spent together as children. JK Rowling has never revealed what Snape’s original Patronus was but many believe it was a bat since the books are always describing how much Snape in his cloak resembles a bat.
Fun animal fact: In Britain a stag, a.k.a. a hart, is a male red deer (whose mate is called a hind), and a doe is a female roe or fallow deer (whose mate is a buck). So far as I know British English would only pair stags with hinds, and does with bucks. So James's and Lily's Patronus are different species
Yep! Every other reactor would've been taken prisoner by the goblins, and that would be the end of that. Amongst reactors, KP is the chosen one, the one who deserves it. 🪄
I think it should be common Bellatrix would inform the bank about her wand being taken, if anybody would attend to use her wand to get in it will be noticed (the guards). Especially when she knew her vault was already a target because of the sword and/or horcrux she knew was put in there :)
I agree, several of these actors who played polyjuiced impersonators made me think they were the original character even going back to Crabbe and Goyle in Chamber of Secrets plus the ministry employees. All great actors across the board in both major and minor roles.
In the books they explain that Ghosts only really appear when the person that died is so fearful of death that they avoid the grim reaper entirely and are just a wandering spirit left to roam the mortal plane. That's why Harry's parents, Dumbledore and Sirius didn't come back as ghosts, they weren't afraid of death.
The moment when you found out Harry was the last horcrux! Looking at the camera and saying we were all laughing over the last few movies! I literally burst out laughing so hard that tears came to my eyes. BEST reaction I've seen in years!
Voldemort lost bc after Nagini was killed, he was finally mortal once more, and very weakened. The elder wand also didn't want to fight against it's true owner, who was Harry. Voldemort ultimately died because his own avada cadabra curse rebounded on him 😁 I just came across your channel and loved your taxing to Snape's memories.
6:44 Hermione IS the Chosen One, and it’s the Screenwriters and Directors who chose her. Book Hermione (my fave) is actually really terrified of flying! She was practically in tears when Harry jumped on a damn dragon lol. She could (and would) NEVER do a lot of the stuff Movie Hermione does 😂😅
45:29 Harry and Ginny named their children James Sirius Potter Albus Severus Potter Lily Luna Potter Ron and Hermione named their children Rose Minerva Granger-Weasley Hugo Alastor Granger-Weasley
@@brandibastian4193 I forgot Mad Eye Moody's first name was Alastor, but I have respect for all of them naming their kids after the ones who literally sacrificed their lives for them, especially Harry and Ginny naming their baby girl after Luna and Ron and Hermione naming their daughter after McGonagall. I'm just sad no one named their boy(s) after Hagrid. 😭
@@biancaeze14 12 damn kids in that family nobody could name anybody rubius baby name one of the f****** pets after him is the f****** ferret named after him
Omg yess its here!!! Im kinda sad you completed it but it was such a good journey. You picked up on so much stuff that some other reactors I watched didnt, it was really nice to watch!!❤ Thanks
I think a lot of people misunderstand the part when Dumbledore asks Snape “don’t tell me you’ve grown to care for the boy?” He’s not suggesting that he himself does not care about Harry. He’s simply referring to Snape’s apparent prejudice towards Harry.
There's actually a deleted scene in "Goblet of Fire" when one of the Durmstrang boys asks a Ravenclaw girl to the Yule Ball, and she is literally hanging out amicably with two other girls; one a Gryffindor and the other a Slytherin. Of course, that scene isn't in the book, but I feel like it would have been a good addition to suggest that not all Slytherins are evil, nor do they all hold a predisposed hatred towards Gryffindors or Muggle-borns, as is heavily implied in "Chamber of Secrets."
one thing that wasn’t mentioned in the movies: James and Lily were about 21-23 when they died so not only were they really young when they died and Remus, Sirius and Snape in their 30s when they died but also Harry was nearly the same age as his parents in the Forest when he was about to die. Wormtail is also dead at this point in time because he was killed by the silver hand he received from Voldemort in Year 4. He died because he showed compassion towards Harry and Ron when they were trapped in Malfoy Manor.
4:24 Imperio is one of the 3 Unforgivable Curses. In the series, Harry uses 2 of the Unforgivable Curses. Crucio (Torture Curse) and Imperio (Control another Curse) 40:43 Neville's parents are still alive. They were tortured by Bellatrix and Barty Crouch Jr. into Insanity to the point that they didn't recognize their own son.
I would honestly love to see your reaction to the 20th anniversary special. It’s been so great seeing the series through your perspective. Always a treat to see someone’s first time watching these films.
The books explain it better but harry doesnt die because when voldemort took his blood to resurect in book 4, he made himself a vessel for Lilys love sacrifice. So harry is voldemorts horcrux and voldemort is Harrys 'lovecrux'. They tether each other to life until voldemort tries to kill harry in the forest, but only kills the Horcux in Harry as harry is protected from death by voldemort himself.
Now, regarding your question about ghosts, ghosts are their own unique thing in the Harry Potter universe. They are the soul of a person who decided not to cross over into the afterlife when they died. They are actually a pretty tragic case because they only have the one opportunity to cross over if they decide not to take it and remain as a ghost. They never get the opportunity to cross over again and will be stuck as a ghost in the mortal world for the rest of eternity, unable to truly be alive and also unable to truly be dead.
Lily's sacrifice saved Harry, that tethered him. Voldy took his blood to regenerate, so that tethered Harry, along with the Horcrux. Harry owned the Elder wand, that tethered him. So when Voldy killed his horcrux, all that was left was Harry and Voldy with things that would work for Harry. So Harry did the Expeliarmus to Voldy's AK, and the Elder wand couldn't kill it's master, so it rebounded on Voldy, killing him.
Come to think of it, becoming the master of Elder Wand is pretty easy! Just disarm who ever is currently carrying it, and the Elder Wand sees you as it's master 😄 ..Wait. Is that why Draco's wand had "changed it's mind"? Because it was used to Expeliarmus Dumbledore AKA: Draco's wand felt hurt and betrayed by Draco? 🤯🤯
@@kokkolintu3528 it couldn't imbibe the powers of the Younger wand, like Harry's had over Voldy's. You had to hold it in your hand and rub vigourously for sparks to fly. Remember how sparks flew when Voldy pulled it out of Dumbledore's dead hands.
@rafiki1017 maybe there's something in the books Hermione stole. I think he became a horcrux and lived because of Lily's sacrifice. I wonder what Voldy was going to use as horcrux after killing Harry.
idk if anyone explained this already but Harry didn't die in the forest bc when Voldemort took Harry's blood to reincarnate himself at the end of Goblet of Fire, he unknowingly took Lily's protective charm that resided in Harry's blood into his own blood, which in a sense duplicated the charm within Voldemort. And since Harry had a piece of Voldemort's soul inside him, he was then doubly-protected.
According to JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, Harry and Ron decided not to finish school and instead became Aurors (dark wizard catchers like Mad Eye Moody) at the Ministry of Magic. After several years, Ron retired from his job at the Ministry and went to work with George Weasley at the joke shop to help him out. Harry eventually became Head of Auror Office and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Hermione did go back to Hogwarts after the Battle to finish school and graduated. At one point, she went to look for her parents and returned their memories. Later after she graduated she started working at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic and helped to create laws to protect and improve the lives of sentient magical creatures like house elves, goblins and centaurs to name a few. Much later, Hermione eventually became Minister of Magic. Neville Longbottom became the new Herbology professor at Hogwarts and married the Hufflepuff student Hannah Abbott, who is the grandchild of the owner of The Leaky Cauldron. Luna became a Magizoologist and married Newt Scamander's (the fictional author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find) grandson, Rolf Scamander. Together, they travel the world looking for rare magical beasts. Professor McGonagall became the new Hogwarts headmistress. Before Ginny married Harry, she became a professional Quidditch player. After she retired, she started writing sports articles for the Daily Prophet wizarding newspaper. Harry and Ginny had three kids together. If I recall the names right, the eldest son was named James Sirius. The second born is Albus Severus. And the youngest child is Lily Luna. Harry is the godfather to Remus and Tonks' son, Teddy Lupin and made sure he was well provided for. Ron and Hermione's children are Rose and Hugo. Draco's child is Scorpius Malfoy. Lucius Malfoy again got away scot-free with his crimes as a Deatheater like he did after the first war when Harry was a baby, where he convinced the Ministry that he was forced to do what he did. Draco got a job at the Ministry and remained on respectful terms with Harry after the Battle of Hogwarts. Umbridge was sent to Azkaban for her crimes. Hagrid remained a professor at Hogwarts but never married. George Weasley married Angelina Johnson, who had been Fred Weasley's date for the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire. Harry and Dudly remained on friendly terms and stayed in touch with each other to the point that they would even send each other Christmas cards every year. Harry, Ron and Hermione in time were each later featured on Chocolate Frog Cards. There are more stories like that that can be read in the Wizarding World website and also found in documentaries with JK Rowling where she goes into family tree details after the Battle of Hogwarts. 🏰🪄 Update: I recently found out thatchanged the name of the official Wizarding World site yet again to just Harry Potter.
I wish they honestly would've made Deathly Hallows pt 3, 4 and 5 to show all this, but I can understand why not. The actors were all tired and needed to evolve.
@biancaeze14 Well, this is all information that JK Rowling released to the public after the Deathly Hallows book was released. The rest she wrote for what used to be called Pottermore (then renamed Wizarding World and now renamed yet again simply as Harry Potter) back in 2011 and on.
@biancaeze14 I am actually looking forward to the TV show. There was soon much left out of the movies due to time constraints. The books were just too big to fit it all. So, having a full season for each book might prove to become happily satisfying. I'm sure they will still have to leave somethings out. But we will definitely get far more. I say, justice for Dobby, Winky, and Peeves! LOL! 😉😁
When lucius calls to Draco, he hesitates and looks at the people around him, hoping someone will say something or tell him not to go, anything. But when no one does he feels like he has to go to his father that no one around him there wants him
@@chgust7257 I was just about to say this. He wasn't gonna go there at all, but once his mom called out to him, he went because of her. Of all of his demonic family members, his mom was the only one that cared for him and knew that he was a boy and that this would damage him. His dad wanted to live up to the hype of being a death eater (that backfired), but I truly don't believe Narcissa was about that life. She was just a bougie pure blood.
I get misty-eyed, but I also respond with "He was still a dick." I can't argue the bravery, he was extremely brave to be Dumbledore's double agent. But I can never get completely away from him as a Professor who bullied the students he didn't like. No matter how James had treated Severus, he shouldn't have taken it out on Harry and his friends.

i'm so glad you finally understand Severus. I named my cat Severus. he is the true hero behind all of this. Albus told him to do stuff, he followed blindly BUT he also led Ron back to his friends and led Harry to the sword. He may have hated James but he LOVED Lilly. You should play Hogwarts Legacy. It takes place in the past during the Goblin rebellion so you'll understand a bit more about the relationship between goblins and wizards.
The books are the best bit of children's fiction since CS Lewis. A brilliant tapestry of themes and characters. A wonderful story arc, full of detail, twists and turns, and belly laughs.
@@StinsonSwarley I used to read to my children all the time, particularly English writers. L.M. Boston wrote the Green Knowe series, beginning with The Children of Green Knowe. These take place in a stone house (the writer lived in) and explore various generations of children who interact with a lonely boy in the present. Quite magical. I recently read Oliver Twist and David Copperfield and A Christmas Tale, Brilliant! Astrid Lingrin's Pippy Longstocking books, Tove Jensson's, Comet in Moominland, + series. All delightful, ripping advantures. And of course, The Hobbit. All increase a child's vocabulary immeasurably. Just for starters.
Dumbledore knew that Harry's blood was used to resurrect Voldemort meaning Lily Potter's sacrificial love magic would protect Harry when Voldemort tried to kill him. Voldemort's killing curse could only kill the part of Harry that wasn't truly Harry. Dumbledore was ten steps ahead. He cared for Harry. The memory scene makes people think Dumbledore used Harry but that isn't the case.
Heaven.... I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak And I seem to find the happiness I seek When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek 😊 Loved that you burst into that song!
You will get SO much more context in the books, so much juicy stuff was cut like tom riddles entire backstory and there’s better explantion about the horcrux lore etc
Yes, I can accept 99% of the cuts that needed to be made for the movies except the missing Tom Riddle memories in Half Blood Prince and having Barty Crouch Jr appear at the beginning of Goblet of Fire.
Everything you felt within the 31 to 37 minute mark is exactly how I felt reading the book. No audience for me obviously but the minute he was out of the pensieve knowing he had to die I no longer even wanted to read the rest. Truly a heart dropping moment
I’ve enjoyed watching these with you so much, you’re clever and funny. I’m so happy you’re planning to read the books, as wonderful as the movies are, SO many detail gets left out plus the books are very funny. Also, you’ll see so much more character/ motive info on Dumbledore, Ron, Hermoine. The Jim Dale audiobooks are fantastic too. Thanks again!
40:20 a deleted version of this scene was that the moment Draco saw that Harry was still alive and realised there was still a chance Voldemort could be defeated, Draco yells "POTTER!!" and throws his wand to Harry. big mad they didn't keep that scene instead :(
Loved rewatching this with you, you're a great reactor, you are very attentive and you seemed very engaged. I did laugh a little watching you realize you had Snape wrong even though it's not a funny scene, just bc you were so outraged. Please don't feel embarrassed about being sad or crying over a scene or series ever again, you're human, it's normal! We're not gonna think less of you or respect you less bc of it, if anything it shows how empathetic you are. This was great, ty! Looking forward to hearing your opinion on the books !
Harry Potter is a spectacular series. The books are even better somehow. It's truly a magical story, in content and in writing. When the last movie premiered, the posters didn't even have a title nor words and people knew what it was. It was truly a phenomenon. I'm not sure if this is from the book because it's been a while, but I postulate that Voldemort's shrunken and bloodied body in Harry's afterlife sequence shows how a part of Voldemort is in Harry's subconscious. Even after everything, Voldemort and the trauma, death and pain he represented is a part of Harry that will never go away.
Voldemort's soul was so fragmented by the time he went to kill baby Harry that a piece of it broke off on its own accord. Usually he'd have to do a spell when killing to attach it to something but he'd already killed two people in a short amount of time(Lily and James) so his soul was unstable. The books explain so much that I definitely recommend you reading them. Btw, when the trio got back to Hogwarts, that was the D.A. in the Room of Requirements (the group they created in year 5 to learn to defend themselves), not the Griffindor Common room.
Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears. (Hearing that Harry had to sacrifice himself to give them a chance of defeating Voldemort and the Death Eaters didn't help that grief.) Also, I was at the midnight premiere of The Deathly Hallows Part 2 in 3D. The scene where Mrs. Weasley took out Bellatrix got a massive cheer from the audience. 7 points I've made or seen in the past regarding Harry Potter: 1. The prophecy Professor Dumbledore mentioned in Professor Snape's memory that mentioned a baby born at the end of July was partially true. There were actually two: Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom. They were born in the same month and year, but Neville is only 1 day older than Harry. (Neville: 30 July 1980, Harry: 31 July 1980.) Voldemort had chosen to target a then 15-month-old Harry, thus marking him as his equal. Neville lived a life free of that fear with his grandmother, despite the constant painful reminder of his parents being permanently admitted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being tortured into insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange. 2. In the scene where Professor McGonagall steps in to protect Harry from Professor Snape....if you notice, he never raises his wand to actually attack her. He actually deflects the spells hurled at him at the two Death Eaters behind him, the Carrows....the very same pair that Neville said were forcing the students to practice the Cruciatus Curse on first years. 3. Voldemort's death after his battle with Harry wasn't supposed to look like he got snapped out by Thanos, and it wasn't just them isolated in the courtyard. In the book, Harry and Voldemort battle for the last time in front of everyone else, resulting in Voldemort dying as a mortal man once Neville sliced off Nagini's head. 4. Harry didn't snap the Elder Wand in the book version. He mends his original wand (the one he got in Philosopher's Stone from Ollivander's) with it, then returns it to Professor Dumbledore's grave. (Which is a better thing to do. Even the most purehearted person can be corrupted by great power) 5. I give HUGE props to Narcissa for straight-up lying to Voldemort after Harry confirmed that Draco was alive. It shows that neither she nor her son wanted the Death Eater life. 6. That one goblin who stared in shock as the Ukrainian Ironbelly burst through the floor of Gringotts seriously looked a bit like Donald Trump. 7. While hiding out at Grimmauld Place with Ron & Hermione, Remus shows up and tells them Tonks is pregnant, and while hiding out at the shell cottage, Remus tells them that their son Teddy was born and names Harry his godfather.
ALL THIS!!!! Also, they didn't have Crabbe in the two DH movies. I think the actual actor went to jail but I forgot what, so they "replaced" him with Dean, which was okay I guess.
@@biancaeze14 not Dean, but Blaise Zabini, who was mentioned once in the "Sorcerer's Stone" book once, and wasn't mentioned again until "Half-Blood Prince" when Malfoy subtly boasted about his future plans. Dean is a Gryffindor; Blaise is a Slytherin.
You're really a good man! Too feel as strong as you do to fictional characters, makes me think what feeling you have towards your reel family and friends. Hats off man👏 i'll follow you until this channel ends
Long story short, the reason why Voldermort accidentally made a horcrux out of Harry is because Voldermort broke his soul apart so many times that it left the remaining part of his soul, that was in his body, very very unstable. So when the avada kedavra on baby Harry backfired it split his body’s soul one more time. And when it comes to why Harry survived the 2nd avada kedavra, that’s because the elder wand’s allegiance was to Harry and a wand wouldn’t kill its true owner. Among other reasons. I really recommend that you read the books. The movies leave too many unanswered questions and they leave out too many important conversations.
If you love someone truly and forever, you share their same Petronas. That’s why Snape had a Petronas that matched Lily’s. James had a stag which is a variation on deer because he loved her. Snape loved her forever, always. Awesome reaction! 😊

When voldemort went to kill harry the mom used her blood to protect harry so as long as she was alive he was protected. Voldemort tries to hit harry with the killing curse, lily gets in the middle killing her and it rebounds hits voldemort and "kills him" fragmenting his soul even more once again and the only living thing left there was harry so part of voldemort's fragmented soul latched onto harry. Then later voldemort uses harry's blood to get his body back which keeps the blood sacrifice going as long as voldemort and harry still alive, Now in the forest when voldemort hits harry with the aveda kedavra it kills voldemorts souls that was inside harry that is why the protection was still going and only voldemorts soul died and not harry he was being portected by the moms blood sacrifice, which the protection also ended when he was in limbo and came back onto the world of the living.
One thing that is interesting & is more explained in the 6th book when Dumbledore & Harry dive deep into Voldemort’s memories to discover who he is is Voldemort is a sociopath that is terrified of dying because of his fundamental belief of wizards & witches being superior to muggles. He viewed death as a weakness & believed the wizard race to be above that at least for himself so with the deathly hallows, Voldemort only knew of the elder wand because that’s the only thing he cared about was slaying his enemies & being invincible, he would have no use for the stone because the dead terrified him & he had nobody he wanted to bring back to life since all the dead in his life were mostly because he was the one to murder them & the cloak of invisibility just didn’t matter to him but the fact that Harry had all three & embraced death like the 3rd brother in the story instead of fighting it or running away from the fact he had to “die”, it made Harry the master of death. Also Voldemort was too afraid to check to see if Harry was alive because he survived him so many times before he was a coward & ordered Narcissa to check for him & in the book he tortures Harry’s dead body with the cruciatus curse to prove his death but Harry was expecting it & made his body stay limp & didn’t cry out in pain so Voldemort truly thought after that he passed the dead test 😂😂😂 Also Voldemort was destroyed by the thing he could never understand. Love. Especially a mother’s love. & yes you are correct Harry had his own soul separate from Voldemort’s soul that had latched on to his so when Voldemort killed him he killed the horcrux part of his own soul, leaving Harry’s actual soul left which is how he was able to choose to come back to life. Also Snape in the books was much more of an asshole & the movie made Dumbledore out to be more of a villain (he did know Harry had to die at some point but it was one of those things where either Harry dies & Dumbledore knew there would still be an out for Harry to survive with the horcrux loophole & saved the whole world or Harry stays alive & would die anyways because Voldemort would have taken over the whole wizarding world & fucked everyone anyways so it was a pick the lesser of two evils to save the world type thing, it truly pained Dumbledore to do it) but snape in the book didn’t care if Harry or James died & only wanted to protect Lily & Dumbledore told him he was disgusted with snape for wanting Lily all to himself so Dumbledore at the end saying “don’t tell me now you’ve grown to care for the boy” meaning “now that everything is about to come crashing down again & after everything this boy has suffered & never caring about him, now you choose to care?” But the movie makes it seem like Dumbledore never cared about Harry & was faking it the whole time or something 😂 & even in the book, snape tells Dumbledore he never cared for Harry & only saved him in honor of Lily because he still loved her. Hope that clarifies some things. The books that explains more is the half blood prince & deathly hallows so some of these gaps explain how Luna got back to hogwarts & all those little details too 😊 Loved following your hp reaction journey you are so smart in predictions & understanding a lot of the unspoken motives most reactors never figure out. Can you please react to the 20th reunion of Harry Potter it is so emotional & heartwarming all at the same time & produced really well!
No matter how many times I read these books and watch these movies I remain in awe of Harry. He’s so selfless and so scared but so brave. A child who knew no love for 11 yrs and yet so full of love for others 😭
It has been such a pleasure and a privilege to watch you watch the Harry Potter films! It is uncommon to find a 'reactor' with such wit, charisma and attentiveness to storytelling and detail. I'd certainly vote for some Hogwarts: Legacy action.
As Hermione said in the tent, before Ron ran off, the Sword is goblin-made. In fact, there is some dispute over who 'owns' the Sword: Gryffindor House or the goblins. Going by the actions of the Sword, it serves Gryffindors. So, Griphook says Bellatrix stole the Sword from Hogwarts and gave it to Snape, to put in her vault at Gringotts. But the sword placed in Bellatrix's vault is a really good fake. And then it was left near Harry and Hermione's encampment in a small lake, the way to it shown by a doe Patronus. Wands exhibit pride; they will abandon their master if proven a loser, weak. If you disarm someone of their wand, every wand that currently considers that person their true master will shift their loyalty to you. Harry disarmed Draco by wrestling away his personal wand; it now is loyal only to Harry. Same with the Elder Wand, that Dumbledore let Draco disarm from him in the Astronomy Tower just before his death. The Imperios Curse causes you to do what the spellcaster tells you. It makes you 'voluntarily' compliant. It's a controlling spell. I suspect most of what is in Bellatrix's vault is stolen. She's kind of a kleptomaniac. (Snape: "Put it down, Bellatrix, we mustn't take what isn't ours!") Aberforth is the one who owed the pub where 'Dumbledore's Army' met for recruitment. Aberforth is the one in the kilt, with the goat. The mirror originally belonged to Sirius and was used by the Order during the First Wizarding War to communicate between HQ and a field operative. When Sirius died, Mundungus Fletcher burgled Sirius's townhouse at Grimaud Place for things to sell in Knockturn Alley. Aberforth bought the mirror to keep tabs on Harry. Dumbledore did a 'solid' for Mundungus by getting him out of a spot of legal trouble, earning Mundungus's gratitude. Then Dumbledore asked him to report any useful info he heard on the street concerning Voldemort. When Dumbledore died, Mundungus considered his 'debt' repaid and tried to tell the Order that night when they were moving Harry, but Mad-Eye shut him down. And the moment there was danger, Mundungus skedaddled, disapparating to safety. Mundungus believed it was no longer his fight. Aberforth and Albus fell out over the death of their little sister Ariana. There was a 3-way wand duel with the Dumbledore Brothers on one side and Gellert Grindelwald on the other. During the fight, a stray curse struck the sister and killed her. Albus disarmed Gellert and won the Wand's loyalty; it was the Elder Wand. Aberforth saw it in his narrow view as ambition, a move to get supreme power, and he felt Albus had sacrificed their sister to get it. The brothers never spoke again. In point of fact, Gellert was not so different from Voldemort, intent on power and world domination. Albus was not interested in power. And the loss of his brother's love and his sister's life weighed on him ever after. When Neville leads the Trio from Aberforth to the Gryffindors, they come out into the Room of Requirement, where they've been hiding from Voldemort's replacement faculty; they're avoiding torturing First-Years. It's been nearly a year since Dumbledore died; kids patch things up a lot quicker than that. Besides, you haven't seen what's going on at Hogwarts since June or earlier. And besides, with the Veritas potion, Cho could not avoid giving up information; you can't blame her. Did you notice Snape, master at wand-dueling, only blocked McGonagalll's blasts but did not fire back? Or that he redirected a blast to each of the two Death Eaters standing behind him, knocking them out? Hmm. Note: Slytherin House students are escorted to the castle dungeons because Hogwarts is a repurposed castle. The dungeons are currently the Slytherin House dorms and Common Room. (Sirius was held in a small room in an upper tower.) Also, the dungeons would be the safest place for students in the coming battle as well as keeping them from influence from their parents (most of Voldemort's followers are Slytherin) to join them or to see their parents and relatives fall in battle. Ghosts can choose to NOT 'go gentle into that good night'; they can choose to stay among the living, but they are still dead and being here is not like living. And a reminder: The so-called 'Resurrection' Stone does not resurrect anyone to being alive again in a fleshy body. The power of the Stone is to summon a spirit or spirits that the holder of the Stone specifies and holds them until released. I look at Lupin & Shacklebolt and Fred & George, just before the Battle of Hogwarts begins, and a bible verse comes to mind: "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." --Matthew 24:40-42 It was Neville's job to draw as many of the enemy on that bridge as possible before it blew. Good job, Neville!
A Horcrux is an incredibly complicated thing to create that would almost never accidentally get made. I don't remember if this was actually in the books or if it's just some things that have been pieced together by fans from little bits of evidence that are in the books, but there are two theories about how Voldemort accidentally created a Horcrux. One is that when Voldemort went to Harry's house to kill him he was planning use that murder to create a Horcrux, it wasn't going to be Harry, it was going to be I believe the Sword of Gryffindor, but because he was already planning on creating a Horcrux, he had most likely already done whatever intricate magic is involved in making a Horcrux. So then when the spell rebounded and stripped his own soul from his body, it still ended up sort of working, just not the way he intended it. Another theory is simply that because Voldemort's soul was so splintered by creating so many Horcruxes, it was unstable and one of the splintered pieces from his many murders simply kind of left when his own body was destroyed by the rebounding curse. Then not being able to cross over due to being anchored to this side by the horcruxes that piece of soul latched itself on to the first suitable host it could find.
They explain it a lot more in Fantastic Beasts, but I also believe they were trying to be sensitive and not mention in the movies too much that Ariana was r***d by the 3 muggles (from what I understand).
My opinion (there appears to be many) is that when Voldemort reacts to the cup horcrux being destroyed and blasts the protective barrier over Hogwarts, the Elder Wand 'bit/zapped' his hand and began to crack tip to base because its true master Harry was inside Hogwarts and the Wand refused to harm him. Voldemort interprets this as him not being its true master (correct) because it still considered Snape its true master (wrong; Harry is its true master) since Snape had been the one who killed its previous master (wrong; killing the previous master is not a requirement of winning any wand's loyalty, only disarming the previous master). Apparently cracked wands can heal, but until reunited with their true master, they stay cracked so the magic is weakened by leakage. You can't channel power with cracks piercing the channel. Voldemort doesn't use a curse on Snape because he figures the Elder Wand won't harm him (he's wrong) because the Wand is loyal to Snape (wrong). So, he slits Snape's throat, then has Nagini bite him a few times, to make certain Snape quickly bleeds to death and the Wand become his faster (remember, Nagini's venom destroys the body's ability to clot). Harry still does not know the Elder Wand is loyal only to him. Snape, in the Astronomy Tower, to Dumbledore: "Has it occurred to you...that I don't want to do this anymore?" Later, Dumbledore to Snape just before death: "Please". And Harry heads out, alone and unarmed. So no more will die for him. Harry is knocked out, but not dead. The Elder Wand refused to harm him, but it was quite happy to kill the piece of Voldemort inside Harry. For the first time in 16 years, Harry is rid of the parasite Voldemort. He also lost the ability to speak parceltongue. (Now you know why the Sorting Hat wanted to put Harry in Slytherin House; a piece of an adult Voldemort's soul was louder than a Gryffindor child). Narcissa is not interested in good or evil, just the safety of her son. If Harry had said Draco was dead, she'd have told Voldemort the truth and left under cover of the ensuing chaos. Lucius begs his son to cross the plaza to him, and Draco refuses. Narcissa softly whispers "Draco. Come." and he goes to her, avoiding his father's touch. What you miss is the deleted scene where Draco runs to toss a wand to the unarmed Harry when he drops to the ground from Hagrid's arms. That's the wand Harry uses to fight and win against Voldemort. Note: Molly Weasley came from quite a large family. She was the only one to survive the First Wizarding War, brought by Voldemort. She's now lost a son and Bellatrix has made the mistake of going after Molly's only daughter. BOOM! Neville in the clutch! And Voldemort has no more soul pieces anchored in the physical world to give him corporeal life. He's just a walking corpse. And in a parting gift, the corruption that Dumbledore received in destroying the Stone/ring horcrux (the blackened rotting of his hand) is not let loose superfast on Voldemort, running up his arm and killing his soulless body. Harry's a wise man. Whoever owns the Elder Wand has a target painted not just on his/her back, but on the backs of everyone that person cares about. And so long as it exists, you gamble whether it falls into the wrong hands. Better it is destroyed and lost. If you go back to Draco and Dumbledore in the Astronomy Tower, with Harry looking on, Dumbledore LET Draco disarm him, then praised him. Dumbledore set it up for Voldemort to be unable to become the Elder Wand's true master. Dumbledore may have known or he gambled that Harry would eventually disarm Draco over something and the Elder Wand then could not be used to kill Harry. Knowledge is power. Wizards' best work often rests on misdirection, on letting people believe something that isn't true. Some situations need people to strive for a result they think they can or can't get so that the plan works. Dumbledore was Merlin-level or better. And the real magic is in the words you use. So, what do you now think of the quality of JK Rowling's writing, her ability to tell a story and create characters? _____________________________________ Please react to at least the first, if not also the second "Fantastic Beasts" films (the third is up to you). "Fantastic Beasts" is basically a prequel to the Harry Potter franchise (no books, only film) and gives you some backstory and cultural comparisons as it plays out in the US (first film) and France (second film).
Umbridge gave Cho Chang the truth-telling potion when she asked her about Dumbledore’s Army, so Cho couldn’t help giving away their location in Order of the Phoenix. She’s welcome back in the group because she didn’t mean to do it, but I don’t think Harry ever 100% forgave her for it. Really enjoyed your reactions for this whole series (might be one of my favorite HP reactions I’ve ever watched!). I think you’d really appreciate reading the books ☺️
That was great, what an awesome adventure! Hope you'll watch and react to the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary film. If not, that's cool too, it was still worth seeing your reactions.
They explained in the books, ghosts are just imprints of their soul. They aren't the actual person or soul. Sad existence. I think Sir Nicholas explains it better in the books. But he seems melancholy about it.
Conpletely unrelated to Harry Potter, but seeing how you are as a person little by little through these reactions just makes me think you'll love the movie Good Will Hunting. Its an amazing movie with actors you know. If you havent already please check this one out! Good Will Hunting will forever be one of my top 5 stand-alone movies.
Snape’s face after he said the curse is a master class in acting. Even on first watch you see it but second watch with the knowledge of the truth holy cow!
For a moment I was afraid you were going to miss Lupin and Tonks' death! It's one of many things left out of the movie, but it's explained in the book why Harry didn't die in the Forest: In _Goblet of Fire,_ Wormtail took some of Harry's blood and used it in the spell to resurrect Voldemort. Because Voldemort's new body now contained Harry's blood, it kept the protective magic from Lily's sacrifice alive, so Harry couldn't be killed.
Loved the reaction journey bro! You do a great job understanding the little things and being emotionally attached lol. Now watch pirates of the carribean!
Thank you for your hard work uploading and editing all these reactions! Like the others said it was truly one of the best reactions and a pleasure to see you connect the dots with what limited info you had! Not sure if you’d want to but there was someone on tiktok who recorded short reactions of them reading the books and if you wanted to do that or make vids discussing you reading the books I would so be down to watch that, I can’t wait for you to read the whole story bc it really hits diff!
Yes, Remus & Tonks had a son, Ted Lupin, named after Tonk's father & Harry is his Godfather. Voldemort couldn't killed Harry, because:- 1. During triwizard tournament, he used to Harry's blood to resurrect himself. Thus empowering Lily potter 's shield even more. 2. By casting killing curse in forest, he destroyed his soul instead of killing Harry. 3. As elder wand belonged to Harry, it killed the person who was trying to murder his true master, by rebounding the killing curse on Voldemort.
Been waiting for this part to watch with you! Snape's memories is my most favorite part of whole 8 movies! I often wanted to watch the reaction from only first movie and last movie but I always end up watching whole 8 movies reaction because its a journey and growth. And knowing last movie will very well worth the wait! Awesome reaction!! I think the reason why this Harry Potter world is still success since 2001 because people really invest into this by just watch after 2nd movie and also, like you said, see all those kids growing up along with the story. thank you for let us to be part of this journey with you!!!
There's theories that Neville was actually the prophesized chosen one all along which is super cool. He and harry were born on the same day and his parents suffered a fate worse than death. He also is the one who technically took out voldemort in the end. He was always a powerful wizard, but only used an old hand-me-down wand for the first 5 years of hogwarts. He didnt get his own wand that fit him until later. And he was the perfect embodiment of Gryffindor. He was always brave and he grew so much.
Yeah, every new reactor that watches HP and the Philosopher's Stone gets half their comments telling them, "It gets darker and more mature!" But they're never really ready when they get there. loved your reaction! I love watching people get invested in the story!
"Piertotum Locomotor"
Also thanks for watching these along with me guys, it's been a pleasure :')
Excellent reaction -- you'll love the books! Thank you!
There's a good fan film on UA-cam:

I am so happy you mentioned Remus Lupin as one of your favorite characters... he is so underrated and overlooked 😢 ... such an awesome character ❤

We don't know that Snape's patronus ever changed actually, or that it changed after Lily's death. For all we know it could have always been a doe
I have heard that since George's happy memories are all bound up with Fred, that after Fred's death George was unable to perform the Patronus Charm.
@@tiph7742no, because Dumbledore would have not been surprised by it
@@lieslmichelle4136 dumbledore was not surprised by the patronus, but surprised by Snape still loving Lily after all this time.
You're the only reactor I've ever seen who got the thing about fake Bellatrix not presenting her wand at the bank.
Yep! Every other reactor would've been taken prisoner by the goblins, and that would be the end of that. Amongst reactors, KP is the chosen one, the one who deserves it. 🪄
yesssss
I think it should be common Bellatrix would inform the bank about her wand being taken, if anybody would attend to use her wand to get in it will be noticed (the guards). Especially when she knew her vault was already a target because of the sword and/or horcrux she knew was put in there :)
Helena Bonham Carter playing Hermine playing Beatrix Lestrange is one the greatest short performances ever
I agree, several of these actors who played polyjuiced impersonators made me think they were the original character even going back to Crabbe and Goyle in Chamber of Secrets plus the ministry employees. All great actors across the board in both major and minor roles.
You misspelled her name on a level people can’t even achieve purposefully.
Your reaction to Snape's memories is PRICELESS!!!! just * chef's kiss *
The moment when you found out Harry was the last horcrux! Looking at the camera and saying we were all laughing over the last few movies! I literally burst out laughing so hard that tears came to my eyes. BEST reaction I've seen in years!
SAAAAAAAAAME!!!!!! I had to stop eating so I wouldn't choke lmfao!
Sameeee, I didn't cry but I laughed out loud
Voldemort lost bc after Nagini was killed, he was finally mortal once more, and very weakened. The elder wand also didn't want to fight against it's true owner, who was Harry.
Voldemort ultimately died because his own avada cadabra curse rebounded on him 😁
I just came across your channel and loved your taxing to Snape's memories.
6:44 Hermione IS the Chosen One, and it’s the Screenwriters and Directors who chose her. Book Hermione (my fave) is actually really terrified of flying! She was practically in tears when Harry jumped on a damn dragon lol. She could (and would) NEVER do a lot of the stuff Movie Hermione does 😂😅
...and Ron and Ginny are The Rejected Ones. I don't know if they pranked the screenwriter day one, and he changed their characters after that 😝
Yes, in the book Harry is the one coming with the idea to ride the dragon out, not Hermione.

I think a lot of people misunderstand the part when Dumbledore asks Snape “don’t tell me you’ve grown to care for the boy?”
He’s not suggesting that he himself does not care about Harry. He’s simply referring to Snape’s apparent prejudice towards Harry.
I was looking for this comment.
🫡
Like in the book he was straight up HATEFUL towards that child it’s hilarious
@@Rcmkney23I blame Alan Rickman for bringing the humanity. Book Snape full on bullied Harry for 6.5 books. Movie Snape is just 🥹

**picks up crying child**
It has truly been an honor and joy to rewatch these movies with you, young Sir 🥳
"There might be some good slytherin in there" love you for that.
And also there might be some bad kids in other houses.
KP: Griphook has to die
Voldy: say less
Riiiight! Lmao, I was thinking "just you wait my friend. Just you wait 😌😉"

4:24 Imperio is one of the 3 Unforgivable Curses. In the series, Harry uses 2 of the Unforgivable Curses. Crucio (Torture Curse) and Imperio (Control another Curse)
40:43 Neville's parents are still alive.
Kinda weird and messed up though when you realize the only reason Harry is a horcrux is because of Lily’s sacrifice. That’s never explained.
🏰🪄
Update:
I recently found out thatchanged the name of the official Wizarding World site yet again to just Harry Potter.
@@LaurinGarcia Yeah, I remembered that. How do you feel about them retelling the story through a show? Cause it's a big no for me
@biancaeze14 I am actually looking forward to the TV show. There was soon much left out of the movies due to time constraints. The books were just too big to fit it all. So, having a full season for each book might prove to become happily satisfying. I'm sure they will still have to leave somethings out. But we will definitely get far more.

When lucius calls to Draco, he hesitates and looks at the people around him, hoping someone will say something or tell him not to go, anything. But when no one does he feels like he has to go to his father that no one around him there wants him
He didn't go to his father. He went when his mother called to him. Did you notice that he didn't let his father touch him when he crossed over?
@@chgust7257 I was just about to say this. He wasn't gonna go there at all, but once his mom called out to him, he went because of her. Of all of his demonic family members, his mom was the only one that cared for him and knew that he was a boy and that this would damage him. His dad wanted to live up to the hype of being a death eater (that backfired), but I truly don't believe Narcissa was about that life. She was just a bougie pure blood.
I’ve seen this movie at least 30 times and I still tear up at “he was the bravest man I’ve ever known” 😢

When we're out together dancing cheek to cheek 😊
Loved that you burst into that song!
Man, the Green Mile should've won every Academy Award, especially for that song.
I laughed, I cried. I had a damn good time!! Cheers!
The books give more! It's definitely worth getting and reading them.
Loved all the HP reactions!
Oh, man.... seeing Fred lying on the floor in the Great Hall dead is heartbreaking, especially seeing Ron break down in tears.
7 points I've made or seen in the past regarding Harry Potter:
Even the most purehearted person can be corrupted by great power)
@@biancaeze14 He got arrested for drug possession and for his involvement in the England riots.
@@rainbowpegacornstudios THAT"S what it was! Yes, thank you. It still didn't feel thae same without him, but I understand why he wasn't in it.
@@biancaeze14 It did feel generic having Goyle and Blaise Zabini in the Room Of Requirement alongside Draco as Harry was collecting the Diadem.
Awww Kay-Pee, Your reactions are just so pure and amazing! Your videos are a pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work.
You don’t know how hard I sobbed when I first read the book and got to the part with the twins.
Great reaction!!! ❤❤❤ Make sure to watch the reunion 🥹
If you love someone truly and forever, you share their same Petronas. That’s why Snape had a Petronas that matched Lily’s. James had a stag which is a variation on deer because he loved her. Snape loved her forever, always. Awesome reaction! 😊
Please checkout the 20th anniversary doc after this! Loved your reactions
You just got yourself a new subscriber/video reaction stalker. Bravo. Loving these reactions!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great job bro! I've watched all of your HP reactions and you've done brilliant! I share your love for the characters of this series and want you to have some more closure to them and the HP series. So to do that, I recommend that you react to the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Reunion Special. I think you'll enjoy it and get more of the behind the scenes info you seek. Enjoy it and thanks again for a great reaction to the HP series! 😊👍🏆
YES PLSSSS PLAY THE GAME!! It would actually be really fun to watch you play games, alongside movies. Whatever you decide to watch next, Im excited for you! Following since the LOTR days, by far the best reactor ive seen on YT ❤🎉
big up yourself brother, this is how growing up happens, we lose some and gain some
These reactions are the best. Your videos were peak entertainment and I'm sad it's over. But sir, you earned that sub. Great stuff.
Then later voldemort uses harry's blood to get his body back which keeps the blood sacrifice going as long as voldemort and harry still alive,
Now in the forest when voldemort hits harry with the aveda kedavra it kills voldemorts souls that was inside harry that is why the protection was still going and only voldemorts soul died and not harry he was being portected by the moms blood sacrifice, which the protection also ended when he was in limbo and came back onto the world of the living.
Also Voldemort was too afraid to check to see if Harry was alive because he survived him so many times before he was a coward & ordered Narcissa to check for him & in the book he tortures Harry’s dead body with the cruciatus curse to prove his death but Harry was expecting it & made his body stay limp & didn’t cry out in pain so Voldemort truly thought after that he passed the dead test 😂😂😂
Also Voldemort was destroyed by the thing he could never understand.
The books that explains more is the half blood prince & deathly hallows so some of these gaps explain how Luna got back to hogwarts & all those little details too 😊
Loved following your hp reaction journey you are so smart in predictions & understanding a lot of the unspoken motives most reactors never figure out.
I think if you read those books, you will be more amazed than what you might expext (especially 4 or 7)
As Hermione said in the tent, before Ron ran off, the Sword is goblin-made.
(Snape: "Put it down, Bellatrix, we mustn't take what isn't ours!")
Aberforth is the one who owed the pub where 'Dumbledore's Army' met for recruitment.
(Sirius was held in a small room in an upper tower.)
Also, the dungeons would be the safest place for students in the coming battle as well as keeping them from influence from their parents (most of Voldemort's followers are Slytherin) to join them or to see their parents and relatives fall in battle.
I look at Lupin & Shacklebolt and Fred & George, just before the Battle of Hogwarts begins, and a bible verse comes to mind:
"Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." --Matthew 24:40-42
It was Neville's job to draw as many of the enemy on that bridge as possible before it blew.
10:10 it is so sad that in the movies we don't get detailed info about dumbledore's brother, sister and himself.
They explain it a lot more in Fantastic Beasts, but I also believe they were trying to be sensitive and not mention in the movies too much that Ariana was r***d by the 3 muggles (from what I understand).
Great reactions! Smart and sensitive.
Snape, in the Astronomy Tower, to Dumbledore: "Has it occurred to you...that I don't want to do this anymore?"
Later, Dumbledore to Snape just before death: "Please".
Note:
Molly Weasley came from quite a large family.

Please react to at least the first, if not also the second "Fantastic Beasts" films (the third is up to you).
"Fantastic Beasts" is basically a prequel to the Harry Potter franchise (no books, only film) and gives you some backstory and cultural comparisons as it plays out in the US (first film) and France (second film).
16:52 Remus is one of my favourite characters too. Not sure if you’ve watched the Fargo TV series, great show and he’s great in that as well
There is a BBC adaptation of the JB Priestly play called an Inspector Calls. He is brilliant in that.
I truly love how you connect sincerely with characters, whether they be LOTR or HP characters.
Been waiting for this one my guy! Will comment again after watching
FINALLY!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Love your reactions. Please continue.❤
Your reaction to 'The Prince's Tale' is priceless
I was mid-class when you dropped and then I dropped class to watch it, wasn't expecting it 'til Sunday ! 😮 loved to go on this journey with u
I was eager to watch this!
Fun fact, a deleted scene showes that Draco threw his wand at harry so he could attack the snake
A-greed.
"Unless they kill Harry" 😂😂😂 oh
Snape’s face after he said the curse is a master class in acting. Even on first watch you see it but second watch with the knowledge of the truth holy cow!
Ayyyyy love your reactions. will be looking forward to more! keep it up!
I really hope you get past the first few books. 3 is great, and then it just gets mind blowing
SO MANY more details in the books. You will love them.
I'm sad to see this end. You are quite entertaining and I loved your reactions to the Harry Potter series. Much love from Colorado
Yes, Remus & Tonks had a son, Ted Lupin, named after Tonk's father & Harry is his Godfather.
Voldemort couldn't killed Harry, because:-
Hope you do react videos to Fantastic Beasts as well. Loved your HP react vids.
Allan Rickman deserves a posthumous Oscar for his role as Snape. It couldnt be a more perfect cast. He nailed it.
Yeah, every new reactor that watches HP and the Philosopher's Stone gets half their comments telling them, "It gets darker and more mature!" But they're never really ready when they get there. loved your reaction! I love watching people get invested in the story!
