This is a very small thing. The main thing that he is talking about is the system and the nizam of islam in which he really, really is braver than a lot of other brothers. YC are doing really good but sahil brother is doing the greater thing which a lot of even scholars do not have the gut to talk about.
First of all who ever listens to sahil adeem only follow one person and that is Muhammad ibn Abdullah (SAW) because Sahil adeem don't ask any one to follow him so please don't use the word follower in title so casually we should listen and respect to everyone but should only follow Muhammad (SAW ).
We need both Sahil Sir and Youth Club.. there are people who are looking for you both to fight, please stay united. Please resolve the issue together, and not on the screens.
As a regular follower who has been listening to both YC and Sahil adeem for a long time,Wajih bhai,please donnot turn this into a mano-a-mano showdown.If there is one thing which i can guarentee after watching this video,its the fact that the exposure which you have to Sahil Adeem's content is extremely limited. I encourage you to sit down with him,you don't even know him properly,he was trained under professional religious education from a very young age under many mufti and ulemas,the reason which compelled him to study neurobiology was to connect the dots and shape the new muslim mind. Please dont turn this into a personal vendetta and impose your own interpretations on that individual.Kindly show some husn e zan.
Please view this video with an open mind. There's no agenda here. I didn't know SA until YC brought him in their couple podcasts previously. This video is a naseeha(advice) and according to Hadith (Deen is naseeha) he perfectly put it.

He didn’t say all are ,in fact I would like to admit on this platform that I was not happy with some scholar’s opinions and disliked them but after listen to SAHIL ADEEM’S words “jou Allah Aur rasool ka naam leta hai us se NAFRAT nai karsakte” I have immense respect for all ullemas whether I agree with him or not (I did respect most of ullemas before that too and consider their opinions above mine ♥️) secondly we all HAVE to admit that almost none of his session ends without talking about doing something for the oppressed Muslims of the ummah and I have not seen this “much” in majority of popular muslims including YC .what he’s doing is something that a few muslims have courage to do and is DEFINITELY the need of the hour .I would request YC and all other popular Muslims that you people are one team please for heavens sake stop talk about each other behind your backs 🙏 this is enough now ! Totally agreed. I remember listening to Engr. Muhammad Ali Mirza and almost started to hate other molvis even though he didn't said to do this and that but constant criticism kind of discouraged me from their opinion even though I must say that he has done a huge service because from extreme religious community which usually is from one particular firqa would never listen to anyone else. I have been there. I wouldn't even listen to Sahil Adeem if my previous firqa walls were not shattered by Engr. Sahab. But back to your point. Yes Sahil Adeem is the most important need in today's society. We all are on the spectrum of bass dill men bura jaan lo ya bol lo uss k khilaaf. No is doing haath se rokne wala kaam. Very very small group of people. We need huge amount to people to do what Sahil Adeem is doing that's why I'm in his projects trying to be part of this force. What YC is doing is also amazing specially their work against Lgbtq reforms. They have created huge aawareness in the society. I really wish both of them work together. I know YC is more leaning towards the unity of Ummah and that's why they are trying not to go against any ulma which I understand but it's unrealistic that if you go against such a bigger problem and didn't get any opposition. That's why we need to be fearless about people's approvals and work more towards the actual bigger problem we are facing today uniting with people who are ready to work together even if they have several disagreements

Assalamo Alaikum. Respectful Shaikh Wajihuddin. Instead of the public rebuttal, you should have contacted him in private and done a video session with him, record it and then put it on UA-cam. You are repeating the same mistake which our previous generations ulemas did i.e cancelling each other publicly. For God sake, don't repeat the mistakes of your elders. Sahil Adeem is one gem of a person and is contributing to Islam which Youth Club is not and in the same manner Youth Club is contributing to Islam which Sahil Adeem is not. Sahabas also had differences, but they were united. Learn from mistakes of elders and don't indulge in these egoistic wars. If Sahil Adeem is not taking the first step, you as the elder and more sensible and wiser take the first step and resolve your differences! JazakAllah.
One more thing to add here. Wajih bhai is saying that he doesn't watch or listens Sahil Adeem videos. Can't he take out time and watch his videos and lectures and then think that what is Sahil Adeem preaching that youth is so much influenced by him and love him for the sake of Allah SWT. This just shows that he is ignoring him for no reason. In the past ulemas of different sects used to read each other books (when there was no camera) and then responded accordingly to any differences they had. If he would have said a few kind words that in the field of psychological and philosophical upbringing of todays muslims Sahil bhai is doing tremendous work then maybe we would have said that this video is not just to CANCEL Sahil Adeem !

Sahil adheem is a gem and he is like a breath of fresh air. He is not like what u are portraying him. U like others might have only heard the short clips that are made from his videos to distract people!! I have listened to almost all his lectures and he has raised my psychology as a Muslim. He has inspired me to do many things which I could never imagine before. He talks straight and doesn’t waste his time on pleasing people.. YC is doing a great job but it’s high time they get out of the comfort zone and start talking about the establishing the deen and not only tazkiya of nafs as tazkiya is done by other religions also like Buddhists and Christians etc… he talks about Prophet Mohammad sallalu alay he wasalam as a role model for the youngsters not only in tazkiya but also in courage. YC never talks about the bravery of our beloved Prophet and this is what has been hidden by the traditional maulvis who are viral on u tube these days. After reading seerah by Arab scholars I came to know how gazwas are such a huge part of our the seerah.

The ulema always show the courage of sahaba and prophet peace be upon him and those who sit down with know this. Sahil Adeem already mentioned that "Listen my complete lecture, not to just watch a short video and judge me". He's a very intellectual personality much needed for this genaration, very few can understand his speeches, because he speaks in-depth & talk real things about each n every concept.

Well if you had that High IQ, you would know that Üstad Sahil never ever gave verdict on theological issues. In fact he only passed on the understandings of sahabah. If you have true love of the religion you would trust the scholars of Islam who spent their lives in learning Islam and passing it on. Simply pick up the videos that show Sahils real face when he speaks to Ulamah. There is a vast difference in not only speech, intellect and manners. Islam does not teach pride or arrogance. With all due respect to Youth Club (Taha, Mohammad Ali and others) , they have been doing excellent work to bring people close to Islam. May they continue doing it and avoid in such discourse. They should collaborate with Sahil more often rather than avoiding it. But the problem it seems is that when Sahil arrives on any platform, he is the one who speaks and others normally just listen and react. There's honestly not much value addition the other person does. He completely overshadows with his Ilm, his passion and the way he approaches a question/issue. The same happened with all the discussion Sahil had with YC and M.Ali. It doesn't means that the the other person didn't have anything to add, but since the person sitting in front of you is speaking brilliantly, you ought to listen to him and probably the same happened with YC podcast with Sahil multiple times. Again reiterating YC also have extremely good speakers. But you need to keep aside any pressure if at all you are getting from Ulamas to refute or speak against him (I hope that's not the case) and ignore what your followers might think if he takes majority time in your podcasts. If it helps ummah, if helps people like us, then that's a win.

When asked if he will meet Engineer Mirza in Jhelum, he responded and I might be paraphrasing a bit "zaroor milunga, wahan gaya to chala jaunga jab unka session ho raha hoga..main kon hota itna bada aadmi ke mujhse milega koi aake..wahan gaya to time leke unse mil lunga" something on these lines.. All this when Engineer Mirza (again a blessing to Ummah) has on some occasions very mildly refuted some of Sahil's points without taking his name directly and Sahil has been all but praise for him..
Jazak Allah brother you define very well Sahil bhai and i think YC should relax bcz he at many of his lectures cleared this topic. YC should do research before saying he is confusing people.
We as a Ummah should listen everyone. Youth club is doing great work and Sahil Adeem speak mostly on Islamic system, which is only the solution of every Muslim's problem. Insha'Allah, as long as the concern about disagreement or differences in research and opinions can be solved by sitting together.
These people seem to be more into fiqa, ignoring the real issues Muslims are facing these days! I don't know when these people would have enough mind to think maturely. May Allah bless them with maturity....we Muslims are fed up with such ulmas' triviality.... they've been destroying us and continues to do so.

Very well said brother. Brother Sahil has made a mistake and need to realize a public statement can be correct publicly as brother Wajih just did. And some of the other things Sahil has said regarding interpretation of the Quran or escatology is more problamactic than people realize
Why are you repeating the mistakes of your forefathers? I have seen you debating atheists on the streets of Pak, however the reason for this non-belief in God is due to the Cultural adoption of Islam which Sahil is fighting. Rather than supporting the guy everyone in Pak is after him. Indeed a sad reality of today's Muslim world!
Sahil Adeem made it possible for us to have a better understanding of several verses of Quran. People now ask for the logical explanation behind any event because they're more intellectual than before. If someone is actually working in that specific line of fields, what's troubling you? If you really have some issues, have a live debate session with him and say all these things to his face. You would never do that.
@Noorbanu Sheikh so are you trying to say that those who do not listen to Sahil bhai are blind and misguided, this is exactly what wajih bhai has said that he is giving a message that what he is telling people is something not told by anyone else, all are blind, all are unaware and only Sahil Adeem knows the truth but the problem is that he is instilling disdain and a sense of incredulity in the masses for scholars and ulema. Assalamu alaikum everyone. Alhamdilillah Allah SWT has sent YC, NAK, Mufti Menk, Yasmin Mogahed, Omar Sulaiman and everyone else related to preaching Islam today at a time in my life when I was in absolute darkness and had no clues where my life was heading. But it's been a while when my concern and dua for all the young preachers of Islam across the world, including the brothers of YC and Sahil Adeem, have increased. Because, whether we may understand it or not, they all somehow are getting affected with hubbut duniya and are in desperate need for seclusion, self-reflection and spiritual refuelling. As Ibn Tahmiyyah quoted: "The disease that knowledge brings is arrogance, and the disease that worship brings is showing off.” It kind of feels our brothers and sisters are getting affected by these, unknowingly. Sub'han Allah, undoubtedly we all have benefitted one way or the other through each and every one preaching Islam in an easy and relatable manner worldwide and the concerted efforts have Alhamdulillah cleared our consciences a lot in regard to the right Islamic knowledge and practice. But now, at our end, it has become information overload, reduced implementation, enhanced dependency on scholars' verdicts and podcasts, and way too much chaos on petty issues - just what Shaytaan wanted, plotted and promised to Allah SWT. My humble suggestion would be, all the brothers and sisters please join hands and take turns in preaching Islam. There is absolutely no need for separate discussions and multiple channels on the same issues (because this too creates rivalry, riya and worldly desire). We, the students and audience, need to give all our brothers and sisters some rest (as they too need some time for reconnecting to Allah, work on themselves, refuel themselves spiritually and reflect on their own deeds), while we practice whatever we learned so far and if needed go through previous podcasts and lectures. This is highly recommended especially in these end times when holding onto Imaan is like holding burning coal, and Nabiji SAW has advised us to do three things in these times (stay at home as much possible, weep for our own sins and do istighfar). I might be mistaken, please feel free to correct me accordingly. I am not saying we should just sit back at home and do nothing, but rather everyone join hands and take turns in strengthening the Ummah for the upcoming massive trials which are heading at the speed of light towards us. Please pardon me if any of my words hurt anyone by any means. You all are more learned in these regards and hence kindly forgive me if I said anything inappropriate. JazakAllahu khayraan, as I am and in shaaaa Allah will always be grateful for all your efforts in enlightening the Ummah at a crucial time.

Mr. Sahil Adheem is indeed a intellectual person and i have heard to alot of his speeches, the only issue that even i have felt for myself and noticed since beginning that he has a very weak communication skills, if Mr. Sahil Adheem happens to fix it then in sha Allah he will be much more influential and clear to understand in the right sense, where his message definitely will be more productive and helpful to the youth's. Youth club not only connect with the upper class but also are relevant to the middle and lower middle classes. They are actually relevant for all Muslims. Sahil making ppl more delusional by making remarks that don't make any sense & perhaps he pretends that bcz all these scholars are dumb they're not intellectually good enough to get his point which is absurd, now his followers are self-made muftis bcz you told them they can understand Qur'an and hadeeths by themselves. Seeking knowledge is a step by step process and for beginners what wajid bhai is talking might make uncomfortable. Islamic studies is not just related to seerah but also includes Aqeedah, tafseer,fiqh, arabic grammar hadith . we study all these under a teacher because the Deen of Allah is a very big amanah and needs guidance. I appreciate what sahil bhai is doing but we need to seek for the same excellence in understanding deen as much we need for contemporary education. The issues of a fiqh are very tricky and we need to be careful when we read fatwa or listen to it from another person we need to look for daleel from Quran and sunnah. Humans tend to err so our ultimate goal is the way of salaf .

Totally agreed. I remember listening to Engr. Muhammad Ali Mirza and almost started to hate other molvis even though he didn't said to do this and that but constant criticism kind of discouraged me from their opinion even though I must say that he has done a huge service because from extreme religious community which usually is from one particular firqa would never listen to anyone else. I have been there. I wouldn't even listen to Sahil Adeem if my previous firqa walls were not shattered by Engr. Sahab.
But back to your point. Yes Sahil Adeem is the most important need in today's society. We all are on the spectrum of bass dill men bura jaan lo ya bol lo uss k khilaaf. No is doing haath se rokne wala kaam. Very very small group of people. We need huge amount to people to do what Sahil Adeem is doing that's why I'm in his projects trying to be part of this force. What YC is doing is also amazing specially their work against Lgbtq reforms. They have created huge aawareness in the society. I really wish both of them work together. I know YC is more leaning towards the unity of Ummah and that's why they are trying not to go against any ulma which I understand but it's unrealistic that if you go against such a bigger problem and didn't get any opposition. That's why we need to be fearless about people's approvals and work more towards the actual bigger problem we are facing today uniting with people who are ready to work together even if they have several disagreements

Sahil Adeem is one gem of a person and is contributing to Islam which Youth Club is not and in the same manner Youth Club is contributing to Islam which Sahil Adeem is not. One more thing to add here. Wajih bhai is saying that he doesn't watch or listens Sahil Adeem videos. Can't he take out time and watch his videos and lectures and then think that what is Sahil Adeem preaching that youth is so much influenced by him and love him for the sake of Allah SWT. This just shows that he is ignoring him for no reason. In the past ulemas of different sects used to read each other books (when there was no camera) and then responded accordingly to any differences they had. If he would have said a few kind words that in the field of psychological and philosophical upbringing of todays muslims Sahil bhai is doing tremendous work then maybe we would have said that this video is not just to CANCEL Sahil Adeem !

Sahil adheem is a gem and he is like a breath of fresh air. He is not like what u are portraying him. U like others might have only heard the short clips that are made from his videos to distract people!! I have listened to almost all his lectures and he has raised my psychology as a Muslim. He has inspired me to do many things which I could never imagine before. He talks straight and doesn’t waste his time on pleasing people.. YC is doing a great job but it’s high time they get out of the comfort zone and start talking about the establishing the deen and not only tazkiya of nafs as tazkiya is done by other religions also like Buddhists and Christians etc… he talks about Prophet Mohammad sallalu alay he wasalam as a role model for the youngsters not only in tazkiya but also in courage. The ulema always show the courage of sahaba and prophet peace be upon him and those who sit down with know this. With all due respect to Youth Club (Taha, Mohammad Ali and others) , they have been doing excellent work to bring people close to Islam. May they continue doing it and avoid in such discourse. They should collaborate with Sahil more often rather than avoiding it.
But the problem it seems is that when Sahil arrives on any platform, he is the one who speaks and others normally just listen and react. There's honestly not much value addition the other person does. He completely overshadows with his Ilm, his passion and the way he approaches a question/issue.
The same happened with all the discussion Sahil had with YC and M.Ali.
It doesn't means that the the other person didn't have anything to add, but since the person sitting in front of you is speaking brilliantly, you ought to listen to him and probably the same happened with YC podcast with Sahil multiple times. Again reiterating YC also have extremely good speakers.
But you need to keep aside any pressure if at all you are getting from Ulamas to refute or speak against him (I hope that's not the case) and ignore what your followers might think if he takes majority time in your podcasts. If it helps ummah, if helps people like us, then that's a win.

When asked if he will meet Engineer Mirza in Jhelum, he responded and I might be paraphrasing a bit "zaroor milunga, wahan gaya to chala jaunga jab unka session ho raha hoga..main kon hota itna bada aadmi ke mujhse milega koi aake..wahan gaya to time leke unse mil lunga" something on these lines..
All this when Engineer Mirza (again a blessing to Ummah) has on some occasions very mildly refuted some of Sahil's points without taking his name directly and Sahil has been all but praise for him..

We as a Ummah should listen everyone. Youth club is doing great work and Sahil Adeem speak mostly on Islamic system, which is only the solution of every Muslim's problem. Insha'Allah, as long as the concern about disagreement or differences in research and opinions can be solved by sitting together.

Assalamu alaikum everyone. Alhamdilillah Allah SWT has sent YC, NAK, Mufti Menk, Yasmin Mogahed, Omar Sulaiman and everyone else related to preaching Islam today at a time in my life when I was in absolute darkness and had no clues where my life was heading. But it's been a while when my concern and dua for all the young preachers of Islam across the world, including the brothers of YC and Sahil Adeem, have increased. Because, whether we may understand it or not, they all somehow are getting affected with hubbut duniya and are in desperate need for seclusion, self-reflection and spiritual refuelling. As Ibn Tahmiyyah quoted: "The disease that knowledge brings is arrogance, and the disease that worship brings is showing off.” It kind of feels our brothers and sisters are getting affected by these, unknowingly.
Sub'han Allah, undoubtedly we all have benefitted one way or the other through each and every one preaching Islam in an easy and relatable manner worldwide and the concerted efforts have Alhamdulillah cleared our consciences a lot in regard to the right Islamic knowledge and practice. But now, at our end, it has become information overload, reduced implementation, enhanced dependency on scholars' verdicts and podcasts, and way too much chaos on petty issues - just what Shaytaan wanted, plotted and promised to Allah SWT.
My humble suggestion would be, all the brothers and sisters please join hands and take turns in preaching Islam. There is absolutely no need for separate discussions and multiple channels on the same issues (because this too creates rivalry, riya and worldly desire). We, the students and audience, need to give all our brothers and sisters some rest (as they too need some time for reconnecting to Allah, work on themselves, refuel themselves spiritually and reflect on their own deeds), while we practice whatever we learned so far and if needed go through previous podcasts and lectures. This is highly recommended especially in these end times when holding onto Imaan is like holding burning coal, and Nabiji SAW has advised us to do three things in these times (stay at home as much possible, weep for our own sins and do istighfar). I might be mistaken, please feel free to correct me accordingly. I am not saying we should just sit back at home and do nothing, but rather everyone join hands and take turns in strengthening the Ummah for the upcoming massive trials which are heading at the speed of light towards us.
Please pardon me if any of my words hurt anyone by any means. You all are more learned in these regards and hence kindly forgive me if I said anything inappropriate. JazakAllahu khayraan, as I am and in shaaaa Allah will always be grateful for all your efforts in enlightening the Ummah at a crucial time.

Mr. Sahil Adheem is indeed a intellectual person and i have heard to alot of his speeches, the only issue that even i have felt for myself and noticed since beginning that he has a very weak communication skills, if Mr. Sahil Adheem happens to fix it then in sha Allah he will be much more influential and clear to understand in the right sense, where his message definitely will be more productive and helpful to the youth's. Brother has come up with valid point!! Ya Ikhwaan fear Allah for your every word and action that you will be held accountable for ! Seeking knowledge is a step by step process and for beginners what wajid bhai is talking might make uncomfortable. Islamic studies is not just related to seerah but also includes Aqeedah, tafseer,fiqh, arabic grammar hadith . we study all these under a teacher because the Deen of Allah is a very big amanah and needs guidance. I appreciate what sahil bhai is doing but we need to seek for the same excellence in understanding deen as much we need for contemporary education. The issues of a fiqh are very tricky and we need to be careful when we read fatwa or listen to it from another person we need to look for daleel from Quran and sunnah. Humans tend to err so our ultimate goal is the way of salaf .

Some times the message and the soul of the message is up to the mark yet it creates more destructions than goodness, only for the reason that the delivery and the sequence of the message wasn't set right. This is where the communication skill matter's the most. Infact the base of a wise speech is that one knows the sequence of the speech beforehand.

His one bad example cannot be used against him to put a label on him. YC is doing great but it's sugarcoating stuff. The tone of Quran is threatening. Please present the Deen in that manner as well. Nope! Islam is sort of inherent in every human, as it's a fitri deen. But the thing is by abusing and demeaning every maulvi you are also demeaning the teachers of your beloved Sir Sahil Adeem, as he also received this precious deen from some maulvi or mufti of higher class.
See the thing is our generation is eager to do every sort of R&D and search for the best options in their worldly matters, like for example when it comes to persuing some degree or to get enrolled in a particular stream, you run from pillar to post and attend multiple trial classes in search of the best and later on settle for something 'better' but the moment it comes to learn your Deen in a systematic manner the best we can do is just bought a copy of English translation of Quran and that's it now we are Allama, now we are better than our nemesis- the MAULVIS😄, why don't we search our ustads and deeni institutions like we do when we are about to pursue some worldly degree? Maulvis are also like us, they are also the part of the society, they are also fallible but that doesn't mean that we completely nullify the whole 'maulvi community'. Remember, all the hadiths that you and your ideals are quoting, comes from the MAULVIS, the ishtehaads- from the MAULVIS, Jihad against the tyrants, be it against the British Raj or against the NATO, led by the MAULVIS.
Sahil saab is doing a great job indeed, but I think he should work more upon the line of Dr. Israr Ahmed saab, you Pakistanis will never know what you have lost and I still can't understand why that gem of a person didn't get the deserved support from his countrymen.

With all due respect.. I refuse to so many points you have made.. Infact your entire refutation is out of context, you haven't heard Sir Sahil Adeem long enough and just like you have mentioned, you guys are cherry picking few things from 2-3hrs of lectures which is unfair..

Let me educate you that Sir Sahil Adeem isn't a fiqhi scholar or claims to be one, he just want to mobilise and make us understand the side of ISLAM which isn't shared by the Ulmas, what's wrong in that?

Sister the problem is that this brother admitting that he don't watch and listen to Sahil adeem, but still giving opinion. On the other hand sahil adeem never condemn him personally. Same with many ulema are against Sahil brother. But I can agree that sahil brother may have made mistakes. But this guys making so much guss and taking it as personal issue. And if he had some mistake they should condemn sahil brother act not sahil adeem. And you can notice all those who are opposing sahil adeem, look their attitude and thought process, it seems like they hate saheel bro.
