Davy crocket looks like a wonderful place to stay, we was gonna stop here but we managed to get a really great deal on one of the hotels. The shop looks well stocked love that they do gluten free

Lesson learned - the best way to make sure you haven't left anything is to film a room tour 😁
Really tempted but it does look a bit pricey - we might see if we can get a special AP price for an odd night just to experience it.

@@sohelenaandmartyn i used to come here with my dad my sister and my step mum when we went to disney, a couple times. they used to actually have a fresh bread/ pastries counter with jams and butter or nutella i dont know know if its still there but it was so good
@@charlottehumphries4959 that sounds lovely. We had that bag for our breakfast on our first trip. They might still do it but we haven’t done a meal plan recently to see. We enjoyed it though when we had it.
I remember when i was little and was desperate to go to disney i would go through the brochures with all the hotels and i would always point davey crocket out to my parents as being the cheapest option hoping they would take me 😂 i never went 🤣
However this is still high on my list to stay at, i just have to pursade the family to drive

Love this really helpful tour. We go in May. Just wondered if we needed to take our own towels? Also, is it doable to go back to the lodge half way through the day to have a break and then drive back to the parks?
Hi Gemma, hope you’re well. Firstly have an amazing time. 😊 There’s towels supplied in the lodges for you. We took ours to the pool but you can rent some at the pool for €2. We managed to take breaks during the day. The drive was very short, probably around ten minutes. I guess it also depends on the opening times and when you go there in the morning. Hope that helps a little 😊 x
Can all the food in the shop be cooked either by microwave or on the hob? Even nuggets and chips?
Hi Hannah, I believe the large majority can be. There is also the bbq option with the lodges so some of the items may be for that. The chips were definitely as we had some so I think most of the stuff in the freezer was microwaveable. Thank you for watching 😊 x

Can you use the pool before you actually get the keys (16:00) to check in?
I'm not sure, when you go to the pool you have to tell them your room so I'm not sure you would know that before you have checked in. Worth an ask at reception :) x
Hi, may i ask is there an oven in the kitchen area? Or is it just the hobs. Thank you
Hi Lisa, thank you for watching and for the comment. No, we don’t think there’s an oven. We found this on the Disneyland Paris site “All our cabins at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch® have: Parking space. Disney and international TV channels. Kitchen with dishwasher, utensils, microwave, hob, kettle and refrigerator.” So just the hob and microwave. Hope that helps. 😀 x
Hi, great tour. Which cabins are close to the playground? My child has autism and will need breaks in the playground so it will be helpful for me to know which cabins to book!
It looks like from the map the closest cabins are in the section called Cayote Trail. Hope that helps a little. Thank you for watching 😊 x
Hi Helena ive visted DCR many times but never stayed we tend to go for NPB or SQL do u recall if there was an iron or a hairdryer? I have it booked for later in the year. Thanks
Good question, I don’t remember seeing a hairdryer. However I asked on the dlp website and Oliver from the chat said they do. We always take one incase. They said no to there being an iron but you can ask at reception. Thank you for watching 😊❤️ x
Hello and thank you for the video. I have some questions too.
The first is whether you have to pay a fee when parking in Disneyland paris near the parks. We have already booked the lodge together with the Park tickets.
I am also interested to know if you have to wait at the entrance in the park when you come from Crocket Ranch or there is a separate entrance. I have heard about the long writing times at the entrance and i am a bit worried .

Hiya 😊 we appreciate your comment and questions. The parking is included in your magic pass that you’ll get from the hotel so you won’t need to pay for parking. 😊 I believe on our most recent trip when we stayed at Santa Fe we could go around the sides not the main entrance when we went for extra magic time. We’ve not had many issues with queues getting into the park. Although I will say we normally go during the week and out of holidays. Think going for either extra magic time or half an hour after official opening is a good way to go. Thank you for watching 😊 x
What’s the plug situation do they use British plugs or do you need a plug adapter?

Hiya 😊 there’s definitely no shuttle bus but I’m not sure about taxi or Uber. I imagine that you must be able to order one from there. But I can’t give you 100% answer as we always have the car. Thank you for watching x

Can you get a taxi to your cabin? We are planning on coming on the eurostar to disneyland

We are without a car, is there a local bus (near the hotel) to take to the disneyland park ?❤
There’s buses that take you to Disney village
@@harryxyz2982 I know there is no shuttle bus from the Davy Crocket Ranch. Disney make this very clear on their website that your need your own transport if choosing this resort. I have read others' trip reports where they have used Uber or other local taxi service for this but no reports of people using local bus services. If anyone has local knowledge, eg bus number and location of the bus stop, that would be a real help 🙂
We’re not able to help to much with this as we’re not too sure as we always have the car with us. The website advises having a car but there might be details on the site too. Thank you for watching 😊 x

Hiya 😊 you don’t need to be able to speak French to stay at the Disneyland Paris resorts. English is widely spoken as well as French. The shows tend to be a combination of both too. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching x
