- Another one from the misty pasts of time and a song we all know very well by the Oak Ridge Boys. I love how much fun they have on stage in front of an audience. To say this one shocked me is sort of an understatement so if you haven't seen it then be ready.

I love this! First, Earl did not hit that lowest note, but he did do the line leading up to it. Geoff turned his back and sang that low note. Second, there is another later version with J None that you might want to watch for fun. The interaction when Geoff shush's Earl is hysterically funny, in fact, Geoff cracks up during it. But that high note finale was all Geoff.
Great reaction, Richard1
Good spot. This is why I love all the comments as you all spot so much more than me lol
Geoff did do the high note at the end. But they were playing with the audience on Earl’s ‘low note’. If you look closely, Geoff turns his back to the audience and actually sings the low notes.
I think one of the reasons Layne is separate from the others during a live show might be his mic set up. He wouldn't want the voices from the others reaching his mic (especially the tenors sing very loudly) since his mic is set up completely different (not for vocals). Geoff is more likely to be near him as Geoff sings very softly.
Good point. Never even thought of that
Earl didn't hit that low note watch as Geoff turns his back and hits it for Earl. Geoff and VoicePlay helped Home Frees Tim Foust do the arrangement of this song that Home Free sang with the Oak Ridge Boys. Tim gives Geoff Castellucci and VoicePlay a shout-out at the end of that video. If you look you will find many live performances.
Another one from live shows is The Chicken Song. Also has Tony in it
There's a Home Free version of this, sung with the Oaks, that is amazing! In fact, Geoff did the arrangement for them.
Loved that version
Yes, not the best live version really. Earl didn't get that low, Geoff was doing it :) But Geoff did do the high note at the end. VP don't tour any more, Layne and Geoff have young children now and their videos are now a full time job.
Shame but family comes first and it means we get to see all the effort put into the videos

Great reaction as always Richard.
I appreciate that
